Pointing to a specific area of the store and her answer was "not everything you have is from there", what a bad answer, I said "I know Im just asking if everything there is 6 dollars?" and then she left is ridiculous Im obviously never going back to this specific location since its more than obvious she insinuated that I was trying to trick or scam them or whatever the word is, when I asked such a simple question. I mostly only wear cotton, which can be hard to find or super pricey elsewhere. Old Navy to the rescue.. On the day I went, they were having quite a few sales. They usually have some pretty cute stuff which always seems to surprise me for some reason. At this time of year, spring, there's a lot of linen, which is nice, especially for the upcoming hot weather. The store is relatively easy to navigate, but if you can't find what you need, the staff is always there to help. I was looking for particular T-shirts, but couldn't find them. I asked the staff member and they brought me right to them. I grabbed a few and continued to peruse the store. I found the fitting rooms and went to try on my items the fitting room, staff greeted me with a smile and told me just to take any room which was nice. I tried on my items some worked some didn't and I returned the rejects to the fitting room attendant. I found something that I really liked a lot and I wanted to see if they had more. The man in the fitting rooms was super helpful and looked it up for me. Unfortunately, he told me it was a very popular item and that he was surprised they had any left. I was lucky to find the one. I grabbed more tees but they only had black and white left. Still, I wear a lot of those colors so it worked out. When I went to pay, there was no one at the registers so I did have to wait a minute or two, but the girl apologized profusely when she returned . She was very friendly and chatty. My purchase was fast and efficient and I was on my way. I'll definitely be back when I need to restock my basics and sometimes to just stick my head in and see what they have.

When I asked her if they had any discount days, she said every weekend, then I asked her what percentage, she said 10%. Then I asked her if she gave a senior discount she said yes, I had to ask her again. What's the percentage then she, replied, 10%. You offered to sell this to me at a certain price. But when I let you know, this is uranium glass you changed your mind because you wanted to make more money simple. How does a vendor get away with offering a customer an item at a certain price and then change their mind just prior to selling it when they find out it's worth more than they want to sell it for.

I'm used to J Crew's usually great customer service so I didn't think about it. Fast forward a week, and I returned to the store. I walked around the store and shopped a little more. I tried on a few things that didn't work. As I was walking around I spotted a pair of shoes I really liked. I tried them on and decided I wanted them. They were marked down and in an area where there were additional mark down on sale item signs. When I got to the counter, I explained the situation with the previous cashier and the woman (Krystal) at the counter said to me it was not on further sale at that point and she stated the day that sale started. I pointed out to her that that was the day that I was there and it was on my receipt. She begrudgingly agreed acting like I was in the wrong. She then rang up the shoes which came up as a higher price than originally marked. When I questioned her about this, she said they were not on sale. I had to physically show her where the basket was that had the shoes in it and she still did not want to give me the sale price. There were multiple shoes in that basket, including another pair of the ones that I got. It was one of the strangest most disappointing interactions I have ever had in a retail store.
