I went to this store for first time today. I thought they were definitely way over priced! I thought the lady working there was not happy being there. When I asked her if they had any discount days, she said every weekend, then I asked her what percentage, she said 10%. Then I asked her if she gave a senior discount she said yes, I had to ask her again. What's the percentage then she, replied, 10%. Oh my gosh, it was like pulling teeth trying to get some answers from her. Not a way to run a business if you can't communicate properly. I won't be patronizing the store. read more

The CRC store in San Marcos got an interior upgrade, so it was closed for a while. It has been open for business for 3 or 4 months, 7 days a week too! They no longer receive donations on the side of the building facing the car wash. Same good people keeping the CRC store in good shape, clean and tidy. Ask the staff about donations as their methods sometimes change. It's a fun way to shop, you never know what you will find and the good deals too! read more

Decided to pop into CRC Resale Store on my way home from lunch on a Friday afternoon, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and prices. Lots of great books for great prices! I spent about 30 minutes browsing, and the staff was quite friendly and helpful. I even got to chat with an older customer about true crime and the state of the world today! A couple weeks before this past Christmas I stopped by to look around and was warmly greeted with a huge smile by Mary, who said she was the manager. I found lots of unique and vintage Christmas decorations for the front of my house, plus a beautiful Nativity set for $22 that my grandson found on Ebay selling for $78! The best part of my shopping experience besides the great finds, was knowing that the dollars spent were going to help people find homes or have enough to eat. read more

I am updating as the last time I reviewed there was also a store in Oceanside which has since closed. NOTE there is also a store in Encinitas near the sprouts on El Camino. I wanted to put in a good word for the staff as in my opinion they are awesome. As to "sketchy" people well maybe but I dont consider myself high on the sketch-o-meter and have shopped and purchased routinely. As with ALL thrift stores it depends on when you are there as to what you find. One of my favorite and very NON junk or sketch was a handbag I bought about a year ago right before my birthday - an Isabelle Fiore from a very hard to find line of Horoscope bags - was $34.99 and I know there was a discount I believe 25% at the time. Note they do re organize and change discounts but if you know how to look and go regularly trust me you will find a hidden gem... or 2....or 12. read more

Had just walked in with my two year old and he was finishing his last bite of his snack when we make a turn and i hear "excuse me excuse meee My store is no food and look at his dirty little hands i dont want him touching my things Plus he isn't "contained" Contained??? Like wtf does she mean! He wasn't running around, touching things or screaming. And " isn't contained" ??? I'd use that more towards an animal. The one who needed to be contained was her. Small shop with a very friendly staff. Free parking lot just outside the shop. This shop is part of a strip mall. Not a lot of furniture, but lots of clothes. There are a few art pieces and the back and side wall has shelves of household goodies. There is a small jewlery case by the cashier too. read more

The CRC Resale Store is a lovely little shop to visit and support. The staff is very kind and helpful if you have any questions. The store is organized and each area is clearly labeled. There is a lot to look through, including men and women's clothing, kitchen supplies, and home decor, but if you take the time to look through their items you are sure to find some gems at a very affordable price! If you enjoy thrift shopping, this is the local spot for you. For a small store they have a lot to offer, so you should peruse their selection, but there's a good chance you'll find something memorable. The staff takes good care of the products and seems to constantly be adding items to the store. I spent around an hour in there and I'm sure I didn't explore everything. absolutely loved this place. kind of hesitant to write this just cause i don't want everyone infiltrating it and taking such beautiful clothes but it's lovely. i went with my best friend and we were there for over an hour despite the small size. there's one tiny dressing room and it's well organized. there's a specific rack with designer brands and more pricey items also which i found to be a plus. however they do in fact have discounts on specific days. i usually thrift for clothes but they've got a pretty big bookcase and some other smaller furniture along with toys. would mostly recommend just for all of the clothes. so many cute things, although there's not much in terms of shoes or bags. the staff was also very nice, and the atmosphere was calm and quiet. you'll get a discount if you sign up (no fees) + there's student discounts as well so bring your id!! super peaceful shopping experience and i went home with two huge bags of clothes. lol. read more

Great place to shop! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The items I find here are clean, beautiful, and great prices! They even have a discount day where you can get your items for up to 50 percent off!!!! Sometimes, I even find designer items here for a great price. Would definitely recommend this place! read more

My husband and I loved their Oceanside location, and since it's closed now we've been visiting their other locations but unfortunately this one isn't their best.
