ive found lots of sick vintage and designer stuff but you gotta dig crodie i mean ts was so hard ive had to dig to hell and back croski, people working there are super nice and the whole place is a vibe, the air in the main bins area is pretty hard but if youre coughing from stinky black mold thats how you know ur getting the real balenci and JNCO trogs and oakley software and andy irons crudie read more

If you have the time and patience, this can be a great way to find some kids clothes, adult clothes and other items. The clothes are all mixed together and not separated by size, color or gender. Though, if you ask one of the associates, they'll point you to the best place to find what youre looking for. You'll still have to do some digging/searching, however. To my surprise, many of the items were actually in great condition and not damaged, faded or pilled. Some still had original tags on them. The store and clothes weren't smelly, which was a huge plus. They also have two bathrooms available, which appear to be clean. I purchased 6 T-shirts, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of shorts, and a Sunday Afternoons hat for just $11.40. I then went back and got a furniture item because it was priced really well. It's a better deal than regular thrift stores if you can take time out of your day to sift through all the items. read more

Not for the faint of heart! But a great place to treasure hunt. I enjoy coming here to peruse the clothing and miscellaneous bins, you really never know what you're going to find! I always spend at least 2-3 hours, you can stay more or less depending on what you're here for. People can be a little territorial first thing in the morning, but if you come closer to noon the atmosphere is more relaxed. They only change the bins after closing, so you won't be subjected to the regular stampede that occurs at other outlets during a bin change. And for goodness sake, WEAR GLOVES! Ive only been a handful of times and already Ive seen it all; crusty undies, soiled pants, dead rats, truly nothing is off limits in the bins. But Ive found some REALLY cool stuff here, so it's worth the occasional visit. Happy hunting! read more

Really love this place. On my first day coming i already bought six clothes, and they're super cheap! Definitely recommend this place.

Lots of bins to go through but more expensive than other goodwill bins I've been to. I am used to paying about 3ish dollars per pound of clothing but here it is per item. You are still saving money compared to going to regular thrift stores. They also have houseware items and furniture on top of the clothing and soft textiles they offer. The parking is a bit small but I was able to find a spot when I went midday on a Saturday. read more

Escondido Clearance Center - Pricing (March 2024) - Thrift Stores Near Me - Escondido, California

Called in advance. Goodwill said they would take our perfect condition, operating treadmill. Came to donate it. Then the stories and games started. The classic comment as "it's too big". So I wasted critical time on a moving day dealing with people who did not know what they were doing. read more

definitely go in the morning during the hotter months since it gets really hot inside and also recommend bringing cloves for digging through piles of clothes. I believe it's 15 items for 25 dollars which isn't bad at all since regular thrift stores are up charging their items. Definitely recommend if you want to spare a couple hours of your day to find really good hidden clothing items. :) read more

Nice and helpful employees and great selection even in the middle of the afternoon! I'm not from here but I'll be back!

Love love love this place! 15 items for $25! Such a great deal! You do have to do a lot of digging to find clothes you like but it's worth the digging for some of the treasures you find here! I rather dig and purchase these items than have them end up in a landfill. I think if we all shopped in places like these, our planet would be better! I see so many clothes new with tags here and it's really just such a shame. Fast fashion really just needs to stop. Anyway, sorry about the rant but yeah if you're in the area you should check this place out. Let me just warn you real quick though, make sure you don't wear any makeup (or do.. that's your business) because it can get real stuffy and hot in there. Wear some nice comfy lightweight clothes and very comfy shoes. Thank me later . Quick edit, all of the home decor and misc items that have a price tag on them are 50% off. That cute spice rack had a tag for $6 but I got for $3 with the 50% off that they do everyday! ! read more

Wow, I now have a new favorite place in North County San Diego. I came here for the first time yesterday and had a blast! I came to donate items here and then realized they also had a store inside the wearhouse where you can buy items at cheap prices. The store in the wearhouse is smaller than I thought it would be, but it is stocked FULL of amazing items at great deals! I bought a sweater for 50 cents! Most of the clothes are under 5 dollars, and they also sell furniture, dishware, kids toys, electronics, and 85-90% clothing. This is a great place to come if you are needing something but struggling financially, as well as just a cool place to shop if you enjoy shopping. Enjoy! read more

Was hoping to get my haul done in an hour....but that plan failed. Make sure you have a good meal before you come. You'll need your energy to dig through all the bins and find the goods. Also plan to be here for a couple hours (or more), if you really want to be thorough. They have a separate room in the back with more boxes and bins. I was too tired and hungry to spend time in that section, plus there's no ventilation so it got pretty hot. The main room is open with lots of fresh air. Found lots of great stuff and will make it a habit to visit regularly! Took off a star for the not-so-pleasant smell in some corners of the store. read more

Experience was amazing, make sure to go in when you have time to look through things because it takes a very long time to look through bands and if you see something you like make sure to hold it and keep it because if you set it down it could be gone in 3 seconds. read more

Great security info so friendly and makes the place run accordingly by holding certain standards. Most of time is a free for all but with the raffle tickets (I never get picked for) it helps south the madness. read more

I was accused of stealing today . I didn't get the employees name but he was very Unprofessional . The way he came at me and was quick to assume I was stealing stuff. I was glancing at their donation bins not aware they were drop offs , None the less he startled to harass me . I had purchased things prior to the situation and he also asked if I stole those items as well . Do better good will . It was literal trash he was pressed about . read more

Sh**! What a fun place to find gold! Great clothes at a price I'm pretty sure is unheard of and not seen elsewhere. You gotta work and have the time and the vibe to find what you want but I made a killing today. It was hit or miss but the hunt is half the fun! Clothes are vaguely sorted in the various bins. I imagine if you hit this place often you could find a whole new wardrobe. Just a note: older reviews have old pricing mentioned. It's currently 15 pieces for $25. $2.50 for individual items. read more

Yes yes and yes. Clothing for days weeks and years ! Come buy it the bins. And say hello

This is certainly an interesting place. We went on Wednesday - dollar day and mid-day $10 dollars to fill a large garbage bag. Its kind of a hot mess there by Wednesday but at that price it doesn't matter if a few items are defective or missing parts. If you out are bored and want to try something new you should venture over to this place. They close on Thursday to restock for $15 Friday. Haven't been on a Friday yet but will definitely go someday soon. Don't go looking for something specific just go and see what gems await read more

Amazing stuff, Amazing Prices, and I LOVE the employees. They deserve chairs for how long the lines get and two snack breaks because of how stressful it is in there. I am a returning customer consistently. Employees do an amazing job of keeping it clean and as organized as they can. We are grateful!! Thank you! read more

Very interesting find! I have never been to a thrift store before, but there's a first for everything! The place is very organized, but it was very small. A lot smaller than it looks from the outside. The majority of the building is blocked off. All of the clothes are in bins that you have to shovel threw. Large variety of sizes. i did end up finding a few 'forever 21' skirts that i liked and the plus side.... all of the clothes are only $1.99! Another score i found was a pair of 'Micheal Kors' shoes for only $4! Even the cashier was shocked. There's definitely some hidden goodies if you take the time to look. I wish they had more to look at, the majority of the stuff they had was more like knick knacks. They did have a few pieces of furniture for great prices. A full size good condition couch was only $20. The prices here are definitely affordable. Although i wish they would expand the store to make it larger. Overall, nice find. read more

I used to love donating stuff there but today's trip not so much a friend drove me up there after getting some furniture to donate we got there and was no parking so we parked a little further down I walked over to tell them we had some stuff two furniture pieces and a box of clothes and my friend untarped the truck the old man who helped was rude demeaning and treated us like trash first he was mad becuse we parked so far down and as someone was pulling out he looks says we'll I see parking now go get your vehicle up here so I did than he scolded us for no tarp we tried to tell we did but he just rolled his eyes shook his head and wouldn't let us talk then he said the one stand wouldn't take becuse now it starting to rain agian and one door pushed a little to far back said he'd take the other but next but he should just send us away for letting it get wet like he was doing us a favor and the whole time just demeaning us my friend didn't know what to say then qas I suppose you want a receipt this stuff is donations I'm giving it away for free!! and I have never been so rudely talked to I will never ever give my stuff to you agian !! I took the other one home I'd rather trash my stuff then ever come back!! He was a complete ass hole!! read more

Wanted to update my review as its changed and gotten bigger. They how have bins for clothing (which is more common in other states than CA). Idea for GW - maybe create a room where you charge by the pound? they do this at a few places in Vegas. Also there are ALWAYS hidden gems - most recently - mid century santa tree topper for $1 in original box. And recently they added CDs and DVDs Also I want to say that the staff here is excellent, superb and more - they are so nice with really great attitudes. read more

After reading so many reviews saying how great this store is, my expectations were high. I suppose I wasn't in the mood to rummage through 30 5'x5'x5' boxes stuffed with clothing. There's no way to even get to most of it. Clothes seemed clean and there were no bad smells, but I would wear gloves and don't bring a purse or anything else inside the store with you, so u can be handsfree to dig. There were also other items such as toys, tools, kitchen stuff, etc on about 10 other racks. Very neat but there weren't many items. I like Escondido store much better. Clothes on hangers so u can see them! read more

First of all, it's SUPER DUPER hot inside! I think they have the heater turned on even though it's summer. It feels like a burning oven in there and I feel so bad for their employees. I'm pretty sure the heat is an OSHA violation LOL Aside from the heat, this place is okay. It's definitely different from any Goodwill Store/Outlet that I've been to. Jeans, skirts and tops are $1.99 and their shoes are 50% off the Goodwill Store tag price. They have several bins of clothes that are organized by category but they also have a wall with hanging tops and dresses which is nice and easier to get through. The inventory isn't that big but it's still okay. I walked out with 7 For All Mankind jeans and a denim skirt each only $1.99. Their employees were really nice and friendly, they were telling me about the store promos. I feel really bad that they're stuck in that oven though :( Someone please get them some A/C! read more

I was reluctant to go inside here because it's a little challenging to find and in an industrial area but I'm so glad I did. Prices are great. Lots of clothing for men and women. I wasn't able to find kids clothes but the employee said they were moved so maybe I missed them. Overall I spent $18 and got some great items! Brooks Brothers silk/cashmere cardigan, Tommy Bahama button up silk blouse, Caslon sweater, cute blouse and a button up shirt from Nordstrom for my husband(which he probably won't like :) and 2 little toys for the kids, of course! The prices on the items were more than I actually paid. I guess they come from different goodwill locations but their prices are simple and listed on a big plate in the clothing area. read more

It was not as cheap as I expected. Some things were priced higher than at at a regular Goodwill. Toys were bunched together in random groups and overpriced. Clothes were cheaper than at a regular Goodwill, but very picked through. Kitchenwares were on sale for half off, so there were some good deals but once again lots of overpriced stuff. Clothes are the only thing that are "clearance" priced here. Employees were pretty friendly, though. They have furnitu read more

I love dropping off donations at this location. Parking is a nightmare but the people that work here are polite and always hustling so you're in and out fast. They take pretty much everything so long as it's fairly current and in overall good condition. All large items are at the discretion of the workers which I think is fair. I've dropped off furniture to clothing to household items. They do ask since the pandemic that you sort your items prior to drop off. I went in once to shop around. A bit chaotic, but that's my fault cause I'm not used to thrift shopping. I think prices are great if you're just willing to spend the time to sort through everything. read more
