Best decision I've made in a long time! The fries are heavenly! I love salt and the fries are super salty so they rocked my world. The chicken sandwich was delicious with the perfect amount of aioli. Came here for the cocktails and some light food. The drinks were very tasty, the food was just ok. The dessert however was AMAZING. We ordered the chocolate espresso cake and I could have easily ordered 3 to eat all by myself!!!!! The cake was very (cover your ears or close your eyes if you hate this word) moist and light. The chocolate and espresso complimented each other so well and the berry sauce was the perfect amount of sweetness. So tasty even the two non sweets eaters enjoyed this dessert! If I could give half stars I would give a 3.5. We had an overall good experience here, but it wasn't mind blowing or anything. The food was good. I had the lobster bisque, pear salad, and a side of mac and cheese. All were pretty good, but the mac was not high on my list if I were comparing all the mac I've ever had. I also had a bite of my husbands burger and it was very juicy! I also liked the fries that came with the burger. For dessert we split a slice of chocolate torte that was also pretty good. Service was fine too, not slow but also not overly friendly. I liked the atmosphere: casual but still kind of nice. Overall it was a fine experience. I wouldn't say it's my favorite place to eat but I definitely want to come back for happy hour sometime. read more

Do NOT eat here. I ordered out food because there's not much open at 10 at night in Eugene. I ordered the salmon meal ($26) thinking this is gonna be nice! It's day two and symptoms began yesterday. I missed work and therefore that $26 salmon ended up costing me around $2000. Thanks... I'm on day two, I have intense stomach cramps and no energy. And of course the restaurant is closed. Do not eat here. The salmon does not look or taste like the pictures. B2 is an awesome neighborhood restaurant with a menu that has plenty of quality options and an extensive drink menu. I love a good high quality burger, and I elected to try the California Burger. The burgers at B2 are a blend of local beef and brisket formed into a patty and cooked to temp. The California was topped with avocado and a perfectly melted slice of cheddar cheese. The burger comes together very nicely from the toasted brioche bun through to the juicy patty. I wish it had a little more garlic aioli, but other than that, no complaints. The fries were a really pleasant surprise. They were thin and just the right texture. And while I'm not normally one who can tell a difference between ketchups, B2 uses Portland Ketchup which I found to be quite tasty and I had to ask for more because I ended up smothering my fries and my burger in it. B2 is the spot to go in North Eugene if you are looking for a reasonably priced quality dinner with an amazing selection of classic American dishes. read more

I really enjoyed my blue cheeseburger. The blue cheese was enough that it wasn't overwhelming like some places will put way too much blue cheese crumble, they did not do that. Also the fries were really good, I like string fries. My wife had the salmon cakes and was not real impressed with them. She said they were bland and could've used something like chives in them. It's a bit off the beaten path but a real cool place, nice vibe, excellent wait staff and the food was DA BOMB! I had a fancy BBQ burger and my wife had the salmon. The burger was massive (1/2 at least) and was the juiciest slice of cow I've had in a Looooong time. I also had a good IPA, fairly good selection. If I lived in Eugene, I'd be back for sure! The only bummer was that it was freezing cold outside and the back of this place had multiple doors for people to leave out the back! The first two times I came here I was really impressed. The halibut was amazing and they have a wine that I haven't found anywhere else, accept for at the winery up north. However, I have a couple of issues with b2. First, they've had live music the last three times I've been in there. While I enjoy live music, the room does not have the acoustics for live music and it ends up overpowering everything, including your conversation with others. I think of a wine bar as being someplace mellow where you can hang out with your friends and have an intimate experience while drinking good wine. However, we end up shouting at each other and by the end of the night my ears hurt and my voice is horse. Another complaint I have is that they've been out of food twice now. One of those times they were out of the fish (halibut and salmon). Also, they claimed to be out of my wine, although there were three bottles visible on the shelf. Either the server was confused, or she couldn't hear me over the music. I want to love this place because it has so much potential, but they need to get their act together. If my future experiences change I'm more than willing to update my review and add stars because I want this place to succeed. read more

This charming wine bar has so much potential but falls short of hitting the mark. The wine list was average and expensive though I appreciate that there were many options available by the glass. I had two glasses of the same wine, one was the end of the bottle and the other the first pour from a new bottle - it was clear the first bottle had been open too long for serving and the flavor was off. Call me an elitist a**hole but whatever! I think it's a fair critique of a place I believe is trying to cater to a more educated wine consumer. As far as food, same deal. Food was okay, and I mean okay like I'd expect from a decent sports bar. My wine was brought out in a glass that had blatantly obvious lipstick stains around the entire rim. I normally dress pretty casually but not lazy i couldn't shake the feeling my date and I were being looked down at and ignored. We had ordered an appetizer that never showed. We were never asked if we would like another drink when our glasses were nearly empty. After the waiter had passed by our table 4 times checking every other table I finally had to flag him down to get our check. I used to be a bartender I understand what Friday evenings are like. I don't expect perfection, I understand staffing issues, I understand food and drink taking longer. But this was far beyond normal Friday night struggles. Birthday dinner night. Went to B2 as an alternative to the 30min-1hr wait across the street at North Fork Public House. I was expecting this place to be close in price and lesser in overall experience, but I was surprised (as far as the food goes). Despite prompt service, the waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there serving us, despite doing a semi-decent job faking it. And despite the quadruple despite, she was the only meh part, 'cause that food was SO good. We had a dozen sweet chile wings as an app, all of which retained a perfect crisp with nice give and flavor. Good start, for sure, but we should have asked for two flavors to branch out. The five of us had: 2x California Burgers, 1x Lamb Chop, and a BLAT (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato all in one great acronym) sandwich. Everything was exceptional, save for the BLAT, which was a much more basic meal. Burgers were incredible, and the pork chop was perfectly-seasoned. Did I mention how amazing the burgers were? Like, holy sh--! All in all, I'd like to thank B2; after that burg, I'm no longer afraid of the word Aioli. read more
