I always enjoy my time at B-UNO's. It's been a while since I visited this establishment and I had a blast. The food was delicious. I ordered the garlic parm wings which were very flavorful and delicious. My friend ordered the taco salad which she enjoyed. The presentation was very vibrant and appetizing. She mentioned that all of the components were cooked and prepared to perfection. Overall, the food was great. This time we sat at the bar enjoying the live entertainment. The service was impeccable. The bar tender was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The ambiance was very lively and aesthetically pleasing. It was a great experience. I feel like theres potential here but I just wasnt feeling it. Went on a Tuesday for lunch with a friend and the place was dead, maybe 3 other tables. I wasnt very hungry so I just got a side of fries and an order of the Lobster Bisque. It took a while for the food to come out and as soon as it did, I stuck my finger in. I was fully prepared for the lukewarm temperature that it was. There was even a film on top so I knew it was sitting for a while. Love this place! They have a huge menu selection but I usually stick to the Mexican items. The burrito bowl is my go to favorite thing & I usually get it with a different protein. The rice & beans are delicious & very authentic. This past visit I had the Carnitas platter. It was pork shoulder with rice, beans, and three plantains. Although the pork was a bit dry for my liking, the rest of it was excellent. I also tried a chicken empanada for the first time and it was outstanding. You could tell it was homemade. All I have to say is that I'm very lucky that I live 25 minutes away, or else I would be here EVERY SINGLE week. We came on a Wednesday for lunch and there were a few people there but we can see that the location is set up for a good time. They have beautiful art on the walls, a ring light, and the music was pumping. Hubby and I started our lunch with drinks. I got a spicy peach margarita, and it packed a KICK! Hubby got a regular margarita which was delicious as well. As for food, I ordered the Burlington's Favorite Burger which was with swiss cheese, fried pickles and some type of fancy sauce. This was a solid burger, I wish it brought more pickles. I also upgraded to the truffle parmesan cheese fries....do NOT leave this place without having some of these! I am still dreaming about them. Hubby ordered a carnitas burrito and it was AMAZING. I can full heartedly say that it was the best burrito I have ever had, and I go to many Mexican restaurants AND burritos are never my jam. We the food was tasty I got the autumn harvest soup and it was the best a bit of a light comfort food for be warmed me up on this cold day. And my son had pepperoni pizza , yum. Every time I stop by I always try to change it up but always find myself diving in the birria tacos and usually trio meal to-go.Absolutely love the trio! I usually visit the Burlington location and when I found out this one opened I was thrilled since it was less than 5 minutes from me. I ordered a salad and received what had to be the absolute bottom of the barrel. I called and asked for the manager after explaining the situation to a server who answered the phone. The manager never came to the phone, as requested and the server relayed the message that they would just refund the total. I waited two days and the charge did not drop off of my card so I physically went back and was assured I just had to wait. I won't get into why I know this isn't true but suffice it to say I know enough about credit card processing to know that they had to have settled the register without refunding my charge for it not to have dropped off. I insisted on a receipt and when it was given to me, the transaction date and time was for a few minutes before.... My tip also wasn't refunded but I'm not so petty that I'd go after the server who took my order. I have no idea how this made it out the kitchen. Won't be back. read more

Didn't realize this location existed. My husband and I wanted breakfast so we decided to head to the one in Burlington however we ended up seeing this one first. We went in, got seated and ordered Ice tea's as we looked over the menu. I didn't notice my breakfast sandwich on there so I asked if they had it. Our waitress said not at that location so I was bummed. I ended up settling for the Peach summer salad on the menu. I was later told they didn't have that. Then I ordered the crab cake sliders. I was told they didn't have that either! Honestly at that point I truly didn't want anything but it was too late because my husband had already ordered the salmon and shrimp ceaser salad. I literally settled on the fish tacos which I absolutely didn't want because I don't like soft tacos. I'm on a pescatarian/ vegetarian diet so there weren't too many options that appealed to me. To my surprise the fish tacos were ok. The fish was mild, light and flakey while not being overly seasoned. They just weren't my thing, but someone else may actually love them. My husband as normal liked the salmon and shrimp Caesar salad, which I will confirm is very good it just doesn't agree with me. All in all I was a bit disappointed in the other items on the menu not being available. I also noticed the sides weren't listed on the menu either so that was also a bit disappointing and confusing. For example I like the lobster and shrimp taco. It comes with a nice refreshing light cream sauce. They also make a really nice buttermilk fried chicken burger on a brioche bun that's really tasty. The accompanying fries are always hot, crisp and well seasoned. Beer selection is decent enough with a good selection on tap. Specialty drinks like the habanero infused cocktail are interesting and a nice change of pace. No place will ever be successful without good help. Sean who is seemingly always behind the bar, is exceptionally good at his job. Always greets us promptly and gets us drinks quickly. He makes good food and cocktail recommendations as well. As a former employee I just would like to express my concern for the establishment, the kitchen manager CORY is HORRIBLE. He is blatantly disrespectful to the kitchen staff and also the FOH members, which caused me to resign from the position after ONLY a week. I don't see how people can work in that atmosphere when he talks to people as if they are beneath him, he yells and curses and make a big deal out of every minor thing as if people can't make mistakes on top of stepping out for a smoke break every hour or so, I would've loved to work with the store manager Jason however Cory is intolerable and I hope the upper management above him rectify this issue as this can be a big downfall on the establishment as a whole. He's filthy and shouldn't be a kitchen manager let alone work in an industry where you have to interact with people and be RESPECTFUL. But tonight i saw something that turned me off ... there was this tall, kinda heavyset manager yelling and cursing at one of the bartenders (petite, red hair, hispanic looking) and it caught me off guard and i couldnt begin to think of what she possibly could have done to deserve that because she's always the sweetest when we come in, always attentive and helpful and makes great drinks! I have been going to bunos for a long time since they first opened and I have always enjoyed the food and their service since day 1!! Then they have this AMAZING Bartender named Mercedes!! that makes the best drinks and always knows my favorite drink!! Her service is top tier and I swear she keeps me coming back every Friday night!!! But unfortunately I actually am considering leaving this establishment alone after listening to how the manager treats our favorite bartender!!! After that I definitely hope I don't have to walk in there and seen him there again. I believe I over heard his name being Cory and he's tall and little heavyset and to be honest I mean we literally only come for her!! No manager should ever speak to any woman or man in that manner and I hope he gets dealt with as soon as possible so this place can be back to its original peaceful place!!
