    Carnitas Platter
    Alisa W.

Love this place! They have a huge menu selection but I usually stick to the Mexican items. The burrito bowl is my go to favorite thing & I usually get it with a different protein. The rice & beans are delicious & very authentic. This past visit I had the Carnitas platter. It was pork shoulder with rice, beans, and three plantains. Although the pork was a bit dry for my liking, the rest of it was excellent. I also tried a chicken empanada for the first time and it was outstanding. You could tell it was homemade. They also have great burgers and excellent chicken tenders. Can't say enough great things about the food here.

Brought the fam out for my birthday. No one left hungry or disappointed!! The food was amazing!! The staff was very attentive and amazing!! This new location just like the others gives you a great vibe and comfort! Service was spot on and it was quite a few of us!! Was definitely a pleasant experience!!!! You can tell they really treat everyone like family!! We ordered probably 1/3 of the menu and everything was amazing!!! So much so I forgot to take pics of the food. I was able to grab only 1 pic before they dug in! Lol. I definitely continue to support and refer my friends and family back here!! ThNk you for an awesome job!

The birria quesa pizza is goooooooood and so is the guava lemonade! Had breakfast there awhile ago and that was also really good.

Used B-Unos for the first time for our company's event during Hispanic Heritage month. All I can say is how wonderful everything was! We had 175 employees and still had plenty of leftovers. Taco bar with beef, chicken, rice & beans, and all the fixings! Their empanadas were so delicious along with the plantains! Looking forward to using them in the future!

Awesome place think will be back. Server was nice and quick. We the food was tasty I got the autumn harvest soup and it was the best a bit of a light comfort food for be warmed me up on this cold day. And my son had pepperoni pizza , yum. His dad had the birria tacos I must say that was great too. I also had the coquito flight which I thought was soo fun ! The strawberry one was a bit too sweet for me but it was just a cool experience for me with all the variety. From their board they have music and other events. Check them out!

    "Salad" I received

I usually visit the Burlington location and when I found out this one opened I was thrilled since it was less than 5 minutes from me. I ordered a salad and received what had to be the absolute bottom of the barrel. I called and asked for the manager after explaining the situation to a server who answered the phone. The manager never came to the phone, as requested and the server relayed the message that they would just refund the total. I waited two days and the charge did not drop off of my card so I physically went back and was assured I just had to wait. I won't get into why I know this isn't true but suffice it to say I know enough about credit card processing to know that they had to have settled the register without refunding my charge for it not to have dropped off. I insisted on a receipt and when it was given to me, the transaction date and time was for a few minutes before.... My tip also wasn't refunded but I'm not so petty that I'd go after the server who took my order. I have no idea how this made it out the kitchen. Won't be back.

Didn't realize this location existed. My husband and I wanted breakfast so we decided to head to the one in Burlington however we ended up seeing this one first. We went in, got seated and ordered Ice tea's as we looked over the menu. I didn't notice my breakfast sandwich on there so I asked if they had it. Our waitress said not at that location so I was bummed. I ended up settling for the Peach summer salad on the menu. I was later told they didn't have that. Then I ordered the crab cake sliders. I was told they didn't have that either! Honestly at that point I truly didn't want anything but it was too late because my husband had already ordered the salmon and shrimp ceaser salad. I literally settled on the fish tacos which I absolutely didn't want because I don't like soft tacos. I'm on a pescatarian/ vegetarian diet so there weren't too many options that appealed to me. To my surprise the fish tacos were ok. The fish was mild, light and flakey while not being overly seasoned. They just weren't my thing, but someone else may actually love them. My husband as normal liked the salmon and shrimp Caesar salad, which I will confirm is very good it just doesn't agree with me. All in all I was a bit disappointed in the other items on the menu not being available. I also noticed the sides weren't listed on the menu either so that was also a bit disappointing and confusing. On a positive note the waitress was very friendly and the establishment was very clean. We also tried the fried pickles which were pretty tasty.

Always a great experience here! The bartender is usually our server and he's super nice! The coffee here is amazing, we get it almost every time. Food is always so delicious, it's hard not to come here every week. 10/10 experience every time.

The food is the best spanish food I have found. They also have non spanish like hamburgers. I had Baria tacos multiple times I go here at least twice a month if not pickup. It is a tad pricey but well worth the money as the portions are oversized. Baria tacos pictured.

Birria Tacos and truffle fries. My favorite.

Even the fruit tasted old and mushy, like it had been sitting out for days. I ended up with a stomach ache afterward -- and that should've been the first red flag. But it gets worse. I put my leftovers in the fridge and ONE DAY LATER they were covered in mold. MOLD. That's not just bad, that's dangerous and unacceptable for a place serving food to the public. The bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable, barely enough room to move, and for how expensive everything is, the quality is insulting. For the amount they charge, this is borderline criminal. It was a tough decision to make but I got the southern sampler which came with the MOST DELICIOUS grits I have ever had in my life. The sampler consisted of two large pieces of perfect french toast, a crispy chicken cutlet with spicy syrup and a generous serving of grits topped with tons of bacon and scallions. The portion was big enough to share, but trust me, you won't want to. My hubby got an omlette with chorizo that was really tasty and my son was obsessed with their french toast. I am not sure if Management has changed but whatever it was / is needs to be addressed immediately for the sake of not losing customers. Asking to be seated at a different table other than the one we were initially seated at (bc it was right by the door and the wind coming in was freezing) was the first red flag because the hostess seemed bewildered and bothered that we wanted a new table despite there being 50-11 other open tables throughout the joint. It literally then took 15 minutes before our server greeted us and it just kept rolling downhill at a faster and faster rate by the minute. Appetizers done before our cocktails arrived, cocktails done before we could order our entrees, entrees arrived missing key components and it took a good 10 minutes before we could get our server and the minute she walks over she says oh you need the ABC ... ma'am! If you KNEW what we needed why didn't you immediately address it without us having to flag you down???!!!??? And the reason it took 10 minutes to flag her down was because the rest of the floor staff was running around like chickens with their heads cut off ignoring diners trying to get their attention. Oh and the best part was that there was this "figure of management" present ... and I say "figure of management" because he was also ignoring diners and not checking in with them like a restaurant manager typically does ... he was only going to the empty tables cleaning them, slowly adding place settings, rearranging the empty tables ... trying to look busy!!!!! It was honestly comical at one point. We asked for boxes for our food because we still never received all of what was missing despite our server acknowledging it was missing and stating she would bring it back. We literally never ever received it smh . My BF told her this was the worst service we've ever had and it probably didn't even phase her because her attitude overall was just sucky from the beginning. If this is all because of new management they need to go on and get new new management before this place's reputation is ruined.

The restaurant is in this cute little area with shops, restaurants and bars and is a popular destination because when we were leaving out after finishing our meal the place was jam packed and there was at least an hour wait (but no wait when we came in thankfully). It's important to note that this is NOT authentic Mexican food ... but it was pretty good nonetheless. The margarita flight was cute and gave us the ability to try a few flavors out before committing to a large one. The favorites were the white peach and pineapple margaritas (the other 2 in the flight were the traditional and prickly pear). We ordered the Crab Mexican Street Corn for an appetizer and while it was loaded with crab, it wasn't Mexican Street Corn ... it was seasoned corn with old bay and a few other ingredients topped with crab. I ordered the Steak & Shrimp Combo Fajitas which was a nice portion size (I took 3/4 home) and the flavors were pretty darn tasty, but when you order fajitas you expect the "sizzle" and these didn't have that nor were they have the right temperature ... they were just warm when I wanted and expected them to be hot. The refried beans were yummy despite them not looking too appetizing but the rice was too soft. Service was good overall and pricing was also reasonable. The inside was clean and the bar area I sat at although small was a decent spot to have a drink and grub. The staff was mostly young kids who were very nice. The chips and salsa they offer were boring. The salsas both roja and verde lacked flavor, mostly spice. The chips were fresh, but thick and bland. I think a thinner homemade style would work better. The first bartender I dealt with was great with the menu. She recommended several menu items. I ended up rolling with the Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas at $18 - jumbo lump crab, old bay cream cheese, tiger shrimp, cilantro and lime rice. The lime rice was worthless. It had zero flavor and was dry. The Enchiladas were creamy, but lacked spice and complexity. The tiger shrimp had a delicious grilled, moist flavor and were the best part. My second trip had a newer bartender who was getting her feet wet. She was friendly, but busy familiarizing herself with the bar so I went simple and ordered Birria Tacos - $15 Braised beef, onions, cilantro, lime Oaxaca cheese, consommé. The beef was dry and not tender. The shells were ok. The best part was the lime Oaxaca cheese and the consommé somewhat helped me get the beef down. The portion was very small. Not a good value in my humble opinion. The other patrons were mostly young and enjoying margaritas. I think booze is the draw to this spot. Without it your just getting average Mexican grub. Heck of a location in the Borough, but my visits left me longing for a hot pepper!
