I submitted a request for an appointment at StemExpress online and received a call minutes later. I was able to set up an initial appointment for that day. I wasn't sure what to expect walking in but the decor was very clean and welcoming! The staff was super friendly and offered me snacks. I filled out my paperwork and was taken right back. The initial draw was a normal amount for tests. The whole process was super quick and I was really impressed with the entire experience.

I was sitting in the back for maybe 45 mins so I just upped & left. I understand wait times may vary but come on, new donors are usually supposed to get the next available bed but there was a bunch of other people in the return line being seen ahead of me. I was in there for maybe a little over 2 hours & didnt even donate. NEVER AGAIN. I haven't been to the Audubon location but I know I damn sure won't be going to this one anymore.

My husband and I have been talking about…read moredonating blood so we booked next-day appointments online through the Red Cross app, which is super easy to use and tracks all of your donations. There was minimal wait time when we arrived for our scheduled appointments, and we were in and out in less than an hour. All of the staff members I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Blood is currently being tested for coronavirus antibodies (among other things, surely) and results will be available in the app within 7-10 days. Definitely a great bonus of donating blood right now, if you're eligible!

I wasted half of a day to arrive here. Im not going to waste another day reporting to a location that is clear across the entire city of Philadelphia. I have read reviews about people who walk out of CSL plasma carted out to an emergency room because of their incompetence. They were not rude but the fact they had an armed guard is an indication of the interactions that go on at this place. NEVER GO HERE. I only wasted my time. Goodness only knows what these idiots could have screwed up.
