Sadly, employers are desperate for help so they keep these people around to keep the lines moving. The kindness of the others makes up for these 2. When you plan to do a, plan on being here 2-3 hours. It comes out to an average of $15/hour per visit. Be sure to follow their directions about eating and drinking so that you don't get sick. You have to take care of yourself before you can help others. They received new machines this week but I have not experienced them yet. After waiting an hour (I totally understand having to wait for a walk-in appointment) I told the front desk something came up in my work schedule and I would have to leave, she told me no your about to be called back just hang tight, I said really it's no problem having to reschedule I didn't want to rush them. she quickly got Gaye, who I assume is a medical assistant or something and the first greeting from Gaye was "you really shouldn't come in if you're in a rush". Right after, a coworker walked past and asked how her day was and she responded with "it was good until a minute ago", again very unprofessional and rude to say in front of a patient. Just extremely disappointed and felt uncomfortable in her care when she was clearly upset over the situation. Then after her care was done in the patient waiting room I could hear her loudly saying to the doctor "you better head in soon, she's in a rush" and laughing. She should do better with patients or leave the profession.
