I submitted a request for an appointment at StemExpress online and received a call minutes later. I was able to set up an initial appointment for that day. I wasn't sure what to expect walking in but the decor was very clean and welcoming! The staff was super friendly and offered me snacks. I filled out my paperwork and was taken right back. The initial draw was a normal amount for tests. The whole process was super quick and I was really impressed with the entire experience.

They were not rude but the fact they had an armed guard is an indication of the interactions that go on at this place. NEVER GO HERE. I only wasted my time. Goodness only knows what these idiots could have screwed up.

Walking in, I was greeted and provided with the absolute best service you could get while sitting still for two to three hours. I mentioned that I had an issue before with my return arm and they decided to flip arms and even use a different vein. It was actually so much more comfortable for me, for this long process. There was one for thanksgiving while the other was for Christmas. I had already posted a picture of the thanksgiving flyer and had received money for that but when I did it for the Christmas flyer they said both were the same which didn't make sense since it was two different flyers. They need to fix that or tell people that it was all in one because that's confusing and it leads to situations like this.

I would really recommend donating platelets if you have the time. I believe it takes about 2-3hrs in total but you would really be helping cancer patients. I would really recommend calling and getting more information about donating blood or platelets as well as just make an appointment to just go donate. You could be saving someone in your own families life. You never know when or who will need the blood or platelets.

This is with the app to supposedly speed up the process. It's worth it at other places but if it's taking at least 4-5 hours it's not.
