Every time I come here it's hours before I even get brought back to start. Theres 20 beds and never more than 2 people working literally last time 4 hrs this time 2 hours already and still have 4 people before I even go back. This is with the app to supposedly speed up the process. It's worth it at other places but if it's taking at least 4-5 hours it's not. Poor management need to hire so it moves smoother but I'm not sure they care about people at all it's all about money read more

Orlando was the best stick I had at this location....didn't feel the needle at all....I flowed perfectly.. I didn't even have to tell him where .. He had me sit and get comfortable while he was busy... After 2 people walked by saying they was going for 15... He took the time to pronounce my name... That's rare!!! this place & csl plasma in allentown p.a. are the two worse plasmas centers that you can go to. please people dont waste your time. they act as if they are doing you a favor. both places are very rude to you. they are extremely unprofessional. these people are very unprofessional and like to do everything but their job. they stand around and gossip all day while people are waiting. . i hated both places and would never go back. they take you through so much just to donate. then when you finally donate it feels like your in circus. definitely not worth it just to receive $100. after three times you get half of that. it doesn't make sense, and its the worse experience only to get $50. you've been warned folks. read more

Everyone at this location is usually amazing. They always treat you well and make you feel comfortable. They make the plasma donation process as simple as possible. They develop relationship with their usual people that come and it establishes a sense of loyalty from the donors to the donation center. I really like coming here. What a nightmare!!! I didn't think donating and helping others could be so difficult. My husband passed from cancer. He could not take chemotherapy due to a blood disorder and the chemo was killing off his platelets. He was living on donated plasma but the hospital had a shortage of plasma and there was nothing more they could do for him. He was sent home for his final days Every year my family and I chose a cause to donate our time to honor his memory. We checked into donating plasma. Our first visit, we were all turned away due to a staff shortage. I called the next day to make sure we would be seen. You can not call the center directly. The number rings at an off site location. The woman called the plasma center and promised we would be seen. It is an hour drive for us. So, back we go and, yup, turned away for the 2nd time. After 3 hours, My son and I were refused again.. We were told we needed a Dr note clearing us. Him for Asthma and me for Rhumetoid Arthritis. My other son was able to donate. I gave negative feedback on our visit. I got a call 3 days later. Octapharmaplasma reached out and in exchange for giving them another opportunity they promised things would go smoothly and they would be open and take care of me on Saturday. So, we make our appointments and get our Dr notes. I called last week to make sure they were open on Saturday due to the holiday weekend before I drove back down again. I got there 20 mins to 4 and stood waiting another 15 mins at front desk. The staff saw us and did nothing. Finally I yelled to get the one's attention and she said they were not taking anymore donors and I said I was promised we would be seen. She went to retrieve another staff member who informed me that they do not accept any donors after 4 o'clock. The same guy that saw me come in and refused to help us. The same guy who knew we were there before 4 and waiting. I told him that we were there before 4 but had to wait until he came to acknowledge us. Unacceptable that he would pull that. I was highly insulted. After I expressed my displeasure with his deceit, then he pulled the " We couldn't be seen due to staff shortage, again." Unbelievable!!! 3 times my family and I tried to donate plasma and were turned away. And zero empathy or concern for our situation and what we were trying to do for our husband and father. The off site call center will tell you everything and anything to get you to go back, just to get there to be turned away repeatedly. One hand doesn't know what the other one is doing. I refuse to let this experience deter me from donating and saving another family from going thru what we had to. Currently checking into Immunotek and Interstate Blood Plasma, Inc (Wilkes Barre.) Much better perks, too, which is an added bonus!!!!! read more

I called in and asked if I was a new donor the lady put me on hold came back on the phone and told me yes and she even stayed it to me how much I would be making which is $100 and if I come seven times within 35 days I would make $100 each time so. I decided to go out there when I got out to the place on MacArthur Road in Whitehall I asked again just to be sure am I a new donor do I get the new donor pay she said yes and stayed it once again you will get $100 and if you come seven times within 35 days you will get $100 each time you come. So I had to go through the physical and everything else sit down donate the plasma. I leave and check my card and all I got was a lousy $40 I called the store to make a complaint that the same woman I asked twice told me I was a new donor and I wouldn't be getting the new pay of $100, they did not offer to reimburse me for just this one time because it was their fault when if I would have waited about 10 days I would have been able to receive the hundred dollars up to seven times period so instead of me waiting and going when I would be a new donor I was told that I already was a new donor so I decided to go and give my plasma and all I got was a lousy $40 when I should have been a new donor I have not been there since October 8th at that up it's over six months period I do not recommend anyone to go there they are very rude on top of that the workers are going out back to take shots of alcohol when it becomes too much for them. This was the most absurd and rude situation I have been through at that location and I have been going there for several years. They lost me as a customer and I will MAKE it my duty they lose more customers. read more
