I say expected because everything is automated. You have many things to watch and read. When you go through the process they read it to you anyway to make sure you know what's going on. Everyone was nice and informative. You have to have nice and plump veins in order to donate. I was in and out. On your first couple of times being there they tell you to just cut the line. It's a courtesy. I spoke with someone was "in front of me" and they knew. However, everyone there is trying to make some money. Interesting experience. No trouble. Obviously no pictures because of their policy.

If they do let people know, It's on a piece of paper at the office but if you get out of work at 5 and you plan to get there at 6 because they close at 7, you won't know that until you arrive. The gas is already wasted, the time is already wasted. they close early on Saturdays around 2pm, but lately they have been closed in general on Saturdays. There are a lot of people who donate because they enjoy donating, but they also need the money. They are able to put out a notification on the CSL plasma app. They do that occasionally but nowhere near enough. The service is fast when Kevin is working, and Ten was really cool, but she left. There are definitely a few people here that are incredibly nice and take care of you fast and efficiently. The phlebotomist in the back are nice and fast. I never really have a problem. They just need to fix their hours and hire more employees.

I've donated blood here 3 times so far. The staff is amazing and friendly. The first time I came…read morethe lady did a great job of explaining what would happen knowing it was my first time donating. I also had the scary experience of fainting after donating my second time. They gave me an ice pack and let me rest and kept checking on me to make sure I was recovering fine. It took a while for me to recover enough to feel ok leaving and they didn't rush me at all. The next time I donated I felt great thankfully. In addition, they always have nice surprise incentives. Once I got a $20 gift card and once I got a keychain with my blood type on it. Make sure you're signed up for their emails to know what promos are running because sometimes you have to sign up in advance to qualify!
