It wasn't my regular appointment for a checkup on my feet because I am a diabetic, but because the toe next to the big toe on my left was hurting me on and off and we were going away for the summer the next day, I wanted it checked out. I called Dr. Siegerman's office and explained the situation and they were able to squeeze me in for an appointment that day. Lisa, an assistant of the Dr., checked me into the exam room and, pleasant as always, took down information including about what was going on. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Siegerman came in, checked out the toe, and assured me the toe was not in any danger, and made suggestions for relieving the pain and put a ZenToe type cap on it. She always explains what her diagnosis is in both medical and layman's language, and how what the treatment (if any) is intended to accomplish. I have been a client/ patient of Dr.Siegerman's practice for 20 plus years. The office staff are very helpful, accommodating, highly professional. Dr.Siegerman is an excellent doctor, podiatrist, and foot surgeon. When your feet are hurting it can be extremely difficult to maintain your normal daily routine and activities. Dr. Siegerman stays current on new or advanced techniques to treat all foot ailments. She treats the whole person medically, asking all the right questions to be completely knowledgeable of each patient, learning about all of their other medical conditions. It was easy scheduling an appointment with Dr. Siegerman. The people at the front desk (West Chester) were very nice and waiting time was minimal. When I met with Dr. Siegerman she asked me why I was there and listened to me. She then took a look at my feet and said she would have to take some samples to be analyzed for a fungal infection. It did come back positive. At the same time we decided on a course of action which included a blood test to see if I was a candidate for Terbenafine and also to start treatment with a topical solution. Its been about two months and I see real progress as far as the infection subsiding. I still have another month of treatment and already have a follow-up appointment scheduled. It's been a while since I needed to see a podiatrist, but the times I was at the West Chester office were great. The staff was pleasant, the wait was minimum, and Dr. Siegerman was able to diagnose the problem in short order and send me on my way with an OTC prescription. One particular visit was after seeing another podiatrist who could not determine the cause or a solution, with the help of X-rays and an hours time. Her advice worked and I am still following her advice today. I might add that each time I visited that office, I left satisfied. Dr. Siegerman performed surgery on my foot after a motorcycle accident, because for some reason the doctors who attended to me in the ER and hospital didn't think it was necessary. Spoiler alert - it was! I'll never be back to 100%, but she did the best job she could, scheduled the surgery quickly (the week before Thanksgiving), always took whatever time was necessary at office visits and answered all questions I had. Dr. Siegerman is a great doctor and has helped me in many ways. Years ago I was told that my toe had to be removed because of a small problem that I had. I saw Dr. Siegerman and was informed that surgery was not necessary. As long as I had no pain in the toe and was still able to move it, then I could continue as I was. I trust what the doctor says and how she directs me to take proper care of my feet. Dr. Siegerman has helped me with two serious problems that were nothing to worry about. The front desk staff is professional and efficient in processing the patients and communicating to the back techs. The appointment time you make is the time you are called back to the room. I went for a two sided ingrown toenail and had the procedure done. The doctors work to keep you comfortable from any pain and try to keep you at ease. The office is clean and your not kept waiting when you come for your appointment. I had a deductible and was told I would be billed. When I received it I called to put it on my credit card and was told they don't take them. That's a change they should add to their practice as it would accommodate the general public. I have been a patient at this office since March 2021. Finally found a podiatrist who was able to help me with chronic toenail fungus and an end to my big toe ingrown pain. Unfortunately, they are out of my health network and the $80 copay finally caused a strain on my budget. Loved the professional staff and Dr. Siavash Rostami. I began my sessions with Dr. Siegerman because I had an extremely uncomfortable growth on the bottom of my foot. This growth was there for many years - almost like walking on a stone.
