I've been coming here for a while. I come out from Center City and I love the trip to Ardmore and the treatment that I receive here.

Dr. Yagodich is fantastic. Explains things clearly in layman's terms. He takes a very pragmatic approach to treatment beginning with the least invasive options. Never condescending (as many Healthcare professionals can be. ) He takes all the time necessary to ensure the patient understands what's going on. read more

Dr. Ricefield is the best podiatrist that has ever treated me for my minor & major foot issues. I have been to several others over the years and even though Your Next Step is a little bit far, it is well worth the traveling for the quality of healthcare I receive. The office and staff are also very nice and it is always a comfortable experience. Highly recommend. read more

By far the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a doctor's office. I will preface this by saying that I enjoyed my appointment with Dr. Eisen, she was friendly and knowledgeable, but there are serious communication issues with the office. I arrived for my appointment early and still had to wait almost an hour to be seen. I was later told that the front desk staff took that long to process my paperwork and didn't alert the nurse/doctor that I had arrived. Appointment was fine, she took a biopsy and told me she would be in touch with the results. I never heard from anyone at the office again. I called three weeks later, was told the results were in and she'd call me on her office day later in the week. Nothing. I waited another two weeks and called again, this time I was told they left a message with the results on her desk for her to call me. Nothing. I called a third time and the front desk staff emailed me the results and said the doctor would be in touch ASAP - that they even texted her to remind. Nothing. I wrote and mailed a letter requesting some type of communication, as there is no email for the office and there is no other way to get in touch with Dr. Eisen besides going through the front desk call line. I have no idea where the ball was dropped but I wasted my time, a copayment, and never received any sort of treatment. Unconscionable. read more

Dr. Ricefield has treated me for 2 different issues over the past 6 years and I can tell you he is an excellent practitioner. I live a little far so over the course of time I have tried 2 other podiatrists but they do not compare to him. He is also very nice and kind which is a bonus. I have learned that it is worth my time to drive farther to see Dr. Ricefield. read more

Okay - so Dr. Ricefield is fine, but the staff are absolutely no help. After spending $500 on orthopedic inserts and $30 for a copay, it is like pulling teeth to get a simple Healthcare savings account itemized receipt so I can get reimbursed by my HSA. I am too the point where if they cant provide it in the next day or too, I am going to dispute the credit card charges. It is so bad that on my second attempt to get the receipt, the woman who answered the phone said "we have to wait for it to go through". I questioned "what had to go through" to which she responded "I don't know". This is laughable.......a shame for the Doctors who seem to be good, but in the future I will take my business elsewhere, read more

The receptionists and office people are shockingly rude, not helpful and seems to resent and strongly dislike their customers. They never greet you. They don't guide you to sign in. Though you are presumably looking at Your Next Step due to foot problems, RUN, don't walk away from this business. I truly cannot understand the glowing reviews I see here, but a lack of numbers must indicate something in terms of the profoundly poor service I received. My experience at this office was truly the worst medical customer service I have ever witnessed. The front desk staff is rude and barely mumbles a hello when you walk in the door. Making an appointment was no picnic, since the receptionist that picks up the phone always has a tinge of exasperation in her voice and gleefully tells you when you can't come in, versus when you can (i.e. "No. We're closed then." "Nope, that won't work." "Sorry, you'll have to wait until next month for us to see you, etc.") My spirits were lifted a bit when I actually saw the doctor, but then it took me nearly a month to have the prescription she wrote me properly filled. Each time I called Your Next Step to say that the pharmacy needed the doctor to rectify a mistake in the prescription, not one person from the doctor's office bothered to call me back. What was consistent was a profound lack of courtesy. I spent over 3 weeks trying to get anyone from Your Next Step to respond to my calls and rectify a simple problem. When the pharmacy called the doctor, they, too, never received a return phone call. Now, I've been unnecessarily billed for the doctor's use of a new laboratory testing center. She thought this might happen and asked that I get in touch if I received a bill. So call I did. Do you think anyone from Your Next Step has returned my calls?? Not on your nelly. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. There are plenty of wonderful podiatrists in the area, and this office does not provide any of them. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the service received - the Doctor and his assistant were both kind and attentive; giving me the opportunity to explain my concerns and asking insightful questions which made me feel they were sincerely interested in my care. The receptionist who originally took my appointment was incredibly helpful and friendly! I was looking forward to this appointment from the moment it was scheduled (admitting, that's a bit exaggerated for going to a foot doctor, but you get the point). Upon my actual appointment, a different receptionist was working and the vibe was not the same, but that's nothing to lose a star over. Maybe it was an off day for her and we all have those :) Dr. Mark Yagodich was exactly what one would hope! I have never been to a podiatrist before and he not only gave me advice, but was very clear on additional options I could explore which made me feel like I wasn't being "pushed" into just doing what the doctor ordered. read more

I can't say enough, about Dr. Yagodich. He is an exceptional Podiatrist. Dr. Yagodich is so kind and very caring. I always feel comfortable and have complete confidence in him. I also adore Jim and Kathy. I have had Laser treatments with Jim, who is a true expert in this field. My son also, has wonderful things to say about Dr. Yagodich. These people will bill the heck out of you so be prepared to spend a lot of money for simple foot care. They charge a fee for simply walking into the office. If they actually do anything, it's all billed separately. My last visit, which took all of ten minutes, I had three separate co-pays. For ten minutes! I see lots of physicians and none bill this way. I guess if I had insurance that had no co-pay, I wouldn't care, but this really seems unjust to me. I won't be going back to these guys. read more

After dealing with embarrassingly disfiguring toe fungus for the past 10+ years, when I saw a toe laser treatment available on Amazon Local, I figured I didn't really have that much too lose. That being said, I went to Your Next Step fairly skeptical about the experience and results I would receive. (Please note, this was my first time ever buying a "local" deal, and my doubts were in no part based on the business itself.) After seeing the fanciest derm in NYC, going through multiple bouts of prescription toenail medication, and dealing with a situation that my girlfriend affectionately referred to as a "zombie foot", I was hesitant to get my hopes about anything regarding this process. But, Dr. Yagodich helped change that. While a second review will have to come later regarding the actual results, I can say that I was happily blown away with how kind, knowledgeable and helpful everyone at Your Next Step was. Dr. Yagodich was almost like a toenail cheerleader, and told me that I'd be more likely to give up on this process than he would. His dedication and hopefulness was infectious, and after listening to him I began to hope... just a little... that there might be clear toes in my future. In addition to removing a lot of the diseased nail, and treating the nails with the laser, he also recommended a topical treatment, oral medication, and numerous other prevention tactics I could take at home to insure that I don't inadvertently re-infect myself. Dr. Yagodich seemed far more knowledgeable than the various derms I visited in NYC, and I am hopeful to see how this process goes. (Lord knows that if this works, I have a mom and sister also ready to undergo this process.) read more

I actually came to Your Next Step with a "Deal'' voucher for the Toenail Fungus Laser Treatment. As usual, I was aware of the possibility that they were subpar because they put out a coupon. BUT, they have an amazing staff and I am thoroughly pleased with my results! Dr. Eisen is awesome, and she made me feel very comfortable in an otherwise uncomfortable, embarrassing situation. I am in my 20's and have been plagued with toenail fungus for too many years to count. I could never wear open toed shoes, or I would have to cover my nails up with nail polish, only exacerbating the situation. The procedure was quick, painless and gave me amazing results.
