I stopped in after work on a Saturday. The time was around 5:30 which was right before they close…read more When I first got into the lobby, I wasn't greeted at all. I felt very unwelcome. I had to beg the girl at the front to even talk to me. I was very sick. I have had those symptoms before, and I knew that there was a problem. I had a fever, chills, and many other feelings which made me think that I had the same sickness from before. I even left work early. I never do this. The staff began to rush me through my initial paperwork by saying "are you finished yet"? I was then quickly rushed into the examination room. The doctor, Dr. Meyers, a pleasantly plump female who wasn't pleasant at all; looked at me for less than a minute. She then said "There's nothing I can do for you. If you get worse, go to the hospital". I begged her for antibiotics. She told me "no": I knew I had this sickness before and needed antibiotics fast. I was then brought discharge paperwork. Dr. Meyers told me to sign it so she could go home. I told her I am sick and begged one more time for medication. She told me to go to the hospital again. I then asked for my $87 co-pay back. The fraud Doctor told me she can't give me my money back even though she told me she "wouldn't help me". Then, I told her to stick the discharge paperwork up her ass. I did not sign it, and began to walk out. I was practically chased out of the waiting room, as they told me to get back here and sign my discharge paperwork. After having the worst medical experience of my life, I canceled the $87 charge on my credit card. The next day, I went to Temple Hospital because my symptoms got worse. The Doctors there are pros. They told me I could have died if I didn't get the proper treatment. Temple is amazing. They save lives, and definitely saved mine. Pioneer, on the other hand, just wants collect money without abiding to duty to act.

The office was very clean, up to date equipment and services from what I could see. The staff was very nice and professional for the most part. I thought some of them were a little casual for my taste. Some of the conversations that were going on in ear shot didnt seem like the kind of stuff that should be discussed around customers/patients. Other than that I was pleasantly surprise at the care and speed. I had to get chest x rays. They did them right on sight, wrote me a script, sent it electronically to my pharmacist and called me with the results of my x ray before i had even gotten home. So definitely happy with the overall experience.

This location of LabCorp doesn't properly handle urine for 24 hour urine tests. I spent 24 hours…read morecollecting it and putting it back into the refrigerator after each trip to the bathroom and then I come in with it and they throw it on the countertop and leave it there. When I inquired about keeping it in the refrigerator like my doctor's instructions told me to, they laughed and said it doesn't need to be refrigerated. Well, that's funny because my doctor's office said that it needed to be refrigerated and I spent an awful a lot of time walking back-and-forth to the refrigerator for 24 hours. What kind of business that works with the public closes at 2 o'clock in the afternoon? I don't know any other lab in the entire town that is only open until 2 PM. What about people who work? The earliest I've ever seen a business that is open to the public close is 4 PM. Can you imagine only being open from 9 to 2 on weekdays? What a dump this place is also. It looks extremely Soviet and besides a nasty, yucky, terrible location the women who work in here have got to be the angriest people for having this job. They are rude, cranky, short with you and downright mean. How they keep this job I will never understand, particularly in an affluent area.

People who started to arrive after me were being taken back then I noticed people were signing in on a piece of paper haphazardly. I then asked the lady at the front desk if I needed to sign in on the paper and she said yes. I told her I signed in on the tablet and it took my info. She said the tablets aren't transferring the stats for sign ins. I told her that she then needs to put out of order signs on the tablets as I just wasted 35 mins of my time. Nothing mentioned signing in on a piece of paper anywhere nor did she announce that the tablets weren't working. The lobby was packed. I stood the entire time and didn't complain until she was assisting people who arrived well after me. This isn't a hard concept to grasp. Her only response was the tablets weren't working but did nothing to tell anyone or post that they don't work as numerous people arrived and continued to sign in on the tablets. Walked out. Won't be back. This is simple customer service and shouldn't be this difficult or be a waste of anyone's time. I get things break but have a plan in place. I imagine this isn't the first time this has happened so why isn't it obvious what they should do to correct the sign in process when this happens.
