I just watched a young couple allow their child (maybe age 4-5?) climb all over the lifting racks as they biked (with their back to the child) and/or sat on their phone. They even adjusted the safety racks, j-hooks, and bench so she could climb about more. Didn't reset anything when they were done. I'm glad she didn't fall. Not sure what the point of the rule is if it isn't enforced.

I'd been to other PF locations before and wasn't impressed. So I wasn't too happy with the changes. I finally dragged myself in to set up my new membership. What a surprise ! This PF has 5 squat racks ! They've got tons of machines, some nice glute drive machines too. So no more awkward hip thrust set ups. The best part is the Black Card recovery zone. The massage chairs , hydromassage beds and red light therapy are fantastic. They have tanning beds too for those that still do that. Wrapping up my workouts is so relaxing now. Everything is new and shiny, the equipment is solid and you can get in a solid workout here. So far it hasn't been crazy crowded either. The hours are still unclear to me, I still don't know if or when they will go 24 hours. So the lesson for me is that change can be good and this PF location is pretty great.

I spoke with Coach Matt (one of the co-owners) about the children's program as I wanted to make sure it was a legitimate BJJ gym. Everything he said checked out and we took our daughter for the free trial period. The coaches there are amazing, they truly take the time needed for each student to understand the techniques while ensuring that it is also fun. Our daughter was very shy at first, not wanting to grapple for the first three months but the coaches were very understanding and knew that she would eventually grapple once she gained enough confidence. She now grapples at every training, wants to go to multiple classes a day and grapples at home with me! Her confidence is through the roof and her behavior at home has greatly improved! I too signed up for the adult training program as well as private sessions with Coach Matt. If you are looking for a place for your son or daughter or even for you, this place is the best! I have tried at least 10 yoga studios in the past year and this is, hands down, my favorite place…read more The staff is cordial, the studio space is clean (15 minutes between classes but they mop it down when they can), and the classes are kick ass. I tried to attend classes at different times throughout the day to get the feel of the crowd, different instructors, and variety of class flows. All classes go at a fairly quick pace so you will need to know your yoga poses or peek over at your neighbors. Don't worry, there are plenty of people in class. It ranged anywhere from 10 to 30 yogis. The Sculpt and Detox Flows are the best classes as they incorporate dumbbells, kettle bells, medicine balls, and resistant bands. Fun stuff! The instructors are helpful, upbeat, and motivating. A cold, wet lavender towel is offered at the end of class and it is truly blissful after an hour of 100+ degree of hot, sweaty yoga. It is pricey at $150 per month or $25 per class but it really is worth it if you go a few times a week. It was so addicting that I went 12 times in 14 days. Just after two weeks, I felt leaner, stronger, and more carefree.
