In 90 days my body has changed in noticeable ways, and I'm definitely getting stronger. I've never stayed this committed to a workout regimen this long, and that's 100% because of how amazing this gym is. I've never once been intimidated, made to feel inferior, or pressured into doing a movement that might cause an injury. In my experience at The MVMT Lab: Every movement is modifiable. Every workout is achievable wherever you are in your fitness journey. The culture is inclusive, diverse, and wonderfully positive. Every coach is well-educated and informed about how to make sure you're moving safely with good form. The other athletes are super supportive and encouraging af. We had a great chat and made sure to answer all of my questions fully and didn't make me feel rushed at all. My free intro class was coached by Chloe. She was very welcoming and so were the other members. Chloe did (and always does) a great job teaching each movement and proving effective cues all while keeping a fun and upbeat vibe! My husband and I have been members for 2 years now and it's safe to say it was the best decision we could have made. Not only did we find a great, safe, and fun place to workout, we have met some of our best friends which has made Denton feel like home faster than we could have ever expected. Jason and Molly have since moved the gym to a bigger and better location and as a member I feel super spoiled every time I walk in. The equipment is well maintained and there is plenty of space to workout without bumping into fellow athletes. They have adjusted SO well to accommodating new safety standards due to COVID-19. Each athlete is able to workout in a designated area safely spaced from others. They also added several new programs that can be done at home for those who still do not feel safe. Jason and Molly are constantly evaluating how they can add more value to their members and take feedback to heart. I came to Crossfit 3040 after visiting other gyms, after reading and checking the goods and bads for crossfit box and your regular gym, I decided to give crossfit 3040 a chance. 6 weeks later and several several lbs. lighter, I would highly recommend Crossfit 3040. The Knowledge that Coach Willie has on form and how to train is excellent. The support that you get from the more experienced members is amazing. So if you are looking into getting in shape, but doing it in a safe and knowledge way come to Crossfit 3040 in Lewisville TX.

So, I have gotten into the habit lately of hitting up a yoga class of some sort in the evenings…read moreafter a long day at work, and before teaching my class in the early mornings. Thankfully, ClassPass has made this so much easier to switch it UP! As a part time fitness instructor with a very strong routine, I constantly find myself craving variety. This place has been on my hit list for a while and I was so happy to be able to finally go last night! And boy, am I glad I did. I tried the hot vinyasa class with Lesa and it was 60 minutes of hot and sweaty bliss. The room was packed and the VYBE was jumping! I was warmly greeted and even though I arrived a few minutes before class Lesa greeted me happily and showed me the ropes. They have towels and water/beverages for purchase. BYO yoga mat but they have those as well. The salt lamps in the studio were a beautiful touch and so were the essential oils. I parked my mat pretty close to the diffuser so I was LOVING the aromatherapy while I got my yoga on. Lesa's class was a booty kicker but she also broke it down and provided modifiers for those of us who aren't so limber but aspire to be (raises hand). Blame my tight endurance athlete hamstrings. At the end of the 60 minutes they provide you with essential oil infused cold towels. The Lakeside area is the perfect location, surrounded by luxury living as well as an abundance of retail shops. The community seems very tight knit here as well. Thankful I was able to come here and cannot wait to use my ClassPass to return for another hot class soon and very soon!!
