I love that I can follow along with the virtual trainers and don't have to think about what I'm going to do for my workout. I sweat like crazy in the saunas and there is a great range of workouts to choose from. I am disappointed though that I can't just chose whatever workout I want, I have to be there at a certain time and with my schedule I'm able to workout at 6pm so there's workout options I wish I could do but they're only available earlier in the day :/ read more

Terrible management, and very rude! I don't know the name of the man who called me, but there were some "issues" he needed to discuss with me about some complaints. Mind you, not one of the employees have ever addressed me about issues. They would always say hello, and I would carry on about my work out. I never talked to anyone, bothered anyone, and I always cleaned up after myself. I brought my own mat once and was told the policy, and I quickly apologized and returned it to the car. So for that I was very confused to get a call from a man talking to as if I am a child, and proceeded accuse me of constant rude behavior from previous employees. My boyfriend and I are both minority people, and were the only minority people in there anytime we went so I just cant help to wonder if the issue was never with me and always a personal problem. Not to mention this man called another location I go to, to request I be banned. Long story short, profiling and racism is still very much alive. 0/10 read more

Absolutely love hot worx. I've been using hotworx for 5 years at various locations. I started in Keller and my fav workout was the hot blast. The denton location didn't have the hot blast but has less people so that was a plus being able to reserve saunas by myself. The only thing I can't stand about the denton location is the fact that there is no water unless you are willing to buy from the vending machine. No water would be crazy in a regular gym let alone a SAUNA. I do hope they invest in a water machine like every other location I've been to considering the price it costs to go here. Nonetheless, I will never stop going to hotworx. With consistency I have seen the best results. The ability to workout by yourself helps you to lock in without distraction. I would 100% recommend it. Just bring a lot of water if you plan on stacking workouts. read more

Honestly, as a college student, I'm really disappointed in this establishment. The people that work there are super great and very kind (most our college students) so this issue is really with the company itself. The gym membership already cost a lot and as a full-time student and I'm also working part time so when I decided that it was too much and tried to cancel they said it was going to cost $99 to cancel. However, when I signed up, I don't know if the woman that was checking me out was uninformed or misled me but she did tell me I did not have to pay anything when I canceled. They're offering no help and if I can't afford the membership, how am I supposed to afford the cancellation fee? It makes absolutely no sense. I really think they should reevaluate their prices on this issue. Because if I would've known that, there would've been such an extreme consequence for just wanting to leave then I never would've joined. Please for other College students who may have to go through this especially in Denton because you're set up in a college town, please reevaluate this. It's really not okay. read more

3.5 Stars Please... First off let me say the staff is super friendly, very helpful and yes a welcoming environment! But, if you're 6' or taller you'll have issues with the size of the interior sweatbox. I am 6' and had issues every time. It's just not tall enough for stretching overhead or long enough when you have to lay down. Don't get me wrong, I loved the workouts and the sweating, but besides the interior dimensions, the instructors were just alright as you can tell they were not sweating as much as I was which was a bit unsettling to me. Are they truly really pushing and sweating in a box-like I am? I doubt it because it doesn't look like it and that in and of itself of off-putting to me. Still, I had issues with the dimensions. Not sure who designed them and what they were thinking...? I had signed a contract for three months (as you have to when signing up or unless you go visit to visit) and planned on stopping after three months anyway because of this very issue (the size) no matter how much I enjoyed the workout itself and the sweating. But, since we are moving I had to cut my time short. The cancellation process (as they always are anywhere) was a bit frustrating though the staff was super helpful. It's just the process that's all. Yes, I'm a fan of working out and sweating a lot, but not in a sweatbox that I do not fit and I would prefer to feel like the person instructing is really working out as well especially if you're in a sweatbox like that. read more

Scam! Was told when signed up that as long as I gave 10 days notice nothing else would be charged. Today I went into cancel and they wanted $150 to cancel. They have this "new policy" now posted at the register. I advised you can't change contracts after signed- the girl said well they did. What?! Illegal scam business! read more

Great way to get a workout. They have a unique offer that involves a few different exercises in a high temperature room (unusually 120+ degrees). Obviously you sweat a lot and get all those toxins out. The side benefits for me are energy and a boost in my day. They also are doing this at a great price point. read more

This is the most welcoming environment I walk into everyday! I've only been working out here for 3 days, but it's feel like home. I have always been nervous to workout in a gym without instruction because I didn't want people to watch me if I messed up. At HotWorx, none of that matters! The virtual instructors tell you exactly how to do everything; such yoga poses, when to breathe, how long to hold a pose for, etc. One of my favorite features is the "After Burn". Today after my workout, I burnt 338 calories, just by doing things around the house! I'm in LOVE with HotWorx and I can't wait to continuously add a hot workout to my day. read more
