You pay for 24/hr access only to find out its infact not 24/hrs and cheaper to have any other location as your "home gym". Oh and they dont let you cancel, you have to call your bank theyll keep charging your card. Nearly every machine in there is run down or so incredibly dry that the machine shakes on the way up even with no weight on it. Needs some serious work especially with how busy it is and how much they're charging thats atleast 40k profit a month if not more but they leave it run down ‍ read more

This place used to be top tier when joined in 23'. They have gone down tremendously. The cleaners don't clean the gym with disinfectant. All I see is dusters which is not cleaning the machines. Bathrooms are not kept up. Saunas are not clean either. Not recommended to shower here. When address by front desk, all they say is "ok", nothing happens. Stretch bands no where to be found. When asked, was told by front desk that they are around. Machines are broke, missing pieces to equipment and out of commission for a while so don't expect to have it available. Paper towel machines not on wall correctly for self disinfecting. Keeps opening and falling down, physically not appealing. I will pay more for a membership else where. read more

Not the best customer service. 27 dollars for a one day pass when I'm out of town. Having to fill out and getting a trial but having to come in and cancel it if I don't want it. You can't call in to cancel it. Having to go back to an office to fill things out. Is 10 dollars that terrible for a one day pass? This location is a pretty decent gym. Clean, enough machines and weights. The women's gym is pretty big and has a lot of machines for only $10 a month (at the time). What bothered me was raising the price when nothing was getting fixed. For an example, in the women's restroom there has been a broken soap dispenser for MONTHS, how is it now I'm paying $6 more dollars a month (16 total) and yall can't maintain a simple fix. I'm not sure why it bothered me. The stair masters were also broken and the treadmills. There was a couple times where I couldn't even finish my workout because half of the cardio was broken. The second thing that rlly bothered me was one night at 9:00 I was trying to get my friend to sign up with me and I wanted her to get a guess pass so she could try out the gym. They wouldn't let her work out there past a certain time. It just sucks for them because they literally lost a potential membership. Logically that doesn't make any sense, what makes the difference between her having a guess pass at 6 vs 9 pm??? A very poor business decision. Overall, it's a decent gym. I had a lot of good memories there. The only thing that kept me having a membership for 4 years is the women's workout area. The staff were pretty friendly too. Towards the end of my membership they moved these clothing items in the walk way to try to "market" them but it was actually rlly annoying having to go around it and it would always get caught in my bag. If you are okay with small inconveniences for a I guess a cheap price this is perfect for you. But if you are someone that wants to get what you pay for, I think they can improve. I rated it 3 stars because I've been to worst fitness connections (the one in allen). Overall, this location is a pretty decent gym!! read more

Hey great news! After 5 years they changed the gym to 24 hours BUT only on the days they were actually open late and it wasn't an issue. The days they closed earlier then everyone else in the area they kept those days normal. Still not working out on the weekends cause they are closed by 7pm. read more

Everything, let's start with staff people not well trained on financial issues took me 4 visit like 6 weeks to they figured my payment issues,second maintenance, not pre maintenance at all each equipment let's say a Polly that piece of equipment turns like 1000 + times at day, so you will think a lest a weekly pre maintenance inspection will performance but not they wait to equipment it's broken before they do something about it so they have to wait several weeks before they get the part to fix the equipment on top of that the other similar equipment have a double use so of course they second machine it's broke now ,long story short now they have 10 machines not working and 8 treadmill broke that's only what a see I'm sure it's have to be a lest another 5-10 more equipment broke today I just have enough of this I'm changing my gym, I been customer for almost 4 years and it's getting worst every year read more

This place is everything you could want in a gym! I have absolutely no idea how the 1 star reviews got entered for the gym itself because it has everything you could need. The staff are ALWAYS friendly, not just one nice person, they're all always kind and upbeat. The locker rooms are clean and organized. The other gym goers are courteous and respectful, especially as a woman, that's important that it's not a place that men feel it's okay to be creepish.. you know? Member ID: T2492649 I find the customer service is terrible for Fitness Connection. The Denton, TX and the 800 9227878 made it very difficult in cancelling. My son never was able to use the gym because of schedule and work conflicts. I tried since November and was told I could not do it in person or over the phone. Then in January 2025 I was told I could only do it in person. When I did I was told there were no annual dues however, it was one day past the billing and was charged for a whole year of annual dues when the membership is to cancelled this month. What a scam! I requested to talk with the district manager and the Denton manager would not give me a name or number. Neither will customer service. They keep asking for me to fill out a survey which I have done several times with no response, no calls from the district manager. All customer service would say there are no refunds. I enrolled my son over the web and never received the contract details until I requested it after cancellation. Upon calls to the Denton TX location and 800 number this information was never provided. Please contact me to discuss this matter. Gym looks nice but was not able to work out in it. I tried using the 5 day pass they had advertised on their website to try out the gym but once i was at the place they had me right down my contact information, only to tell me after that i have to either pay for a day pass or to start a membership. This gym is really, really nice. It costs me $10 per month. They have a massive amount of equipment and they're open early which I love. At least 3 different lat pulldown attachment stations. I'm used to other gyms where theres only 1 or 2 and you literally have to wait around for it. There's a massive amount of equipment. The stationary bikes are super awesome because you can actually sit upright, instead of one of those super lame ultra-reclined ones. Other gyms I've been to usually only have a handful of bikes that all suck. Most importantly, they have a super, super nice sled upstairs. The sled is a torque fitness tank M4 sled, it's really popular in the fitness community because it's one of the only sleds that's on wheels (and thus can be used basically anywhere). The sled they have at fitness connection costs around $1,600 to get. Remember I said my membership costs $10 per month? It would take me 160 months to break even Just on that sled, not even including tax and all the straps and harnesses you need. Super awesome gym. Super clean and big with tons of space and tons of equipment and a ridiculously good deal price wise. I'm really pumped I found this place and I almost didn't want to write my review cuz I don't want it to be more crowded lol. read more

I went one day with a friend who wanted to show me this place. I went and it was good, but when I was gonna join the place they had no idea what they were doing. They make you go in this room, and it feels like it is a police interrogation room, and it makes you feel like you have to sign up. And that is where the price just keeps rising. So they had a deal that was 10$ down and 10$ a month. So you would like it would be only 20$ and that's all. But when you join at the end they so oh well there is this fee of 49$ a year and you pay it in the first month. The reality of It is you pay 69$ plus tax in the first month which is outrageous. While I was trying to join I was asking a few questions and they made it seem like I shouldn't be asking them, and they made it seem wrong to ask questions. The lady I was working with got frustrated with my questions she had to go get a manager. She had no idea what to do, and she was selling me the business. So this place is trying so hard to get your credit card number so you keep paying and can never cancel. And don't get me started on the cancelling you have to give them a 30 day notice, and then they stop your card so they can take the extra month of your money. This just got worse and worse. First I sign up for the 5 day free promo to be hounded by calls and texts to sign up instantly. I end up not using my 5days free because I'm strong armed into just signing up or the deals are gone. I have to give my banking account for auto pay which I'm fine with and prefer. Everything is fine for sign up and first month fee draft. Then the draft stops and I'm not notified or anything I just eventually log in and make an account to see why it hasn't pulled to see a late fee. Nothing wrong with my bank. Update bank info per instruction. Still not auto pull. Get told I have to speak to a manager who eventually emails me back that hes on vacation trying to enjoy some PTO! Keep in mine he read my frustration. I go in to cancel despite having to pay for a month of unused service and an annual fee that just hit in my first month (known about in advanced but figured I'd be a member) Told by their staff I have to call it in to cancel and zero out. So I've wasted a trip. I call and get the run around about how they can't get me a supervisor to work with me. Say that they will have someone call me back. NOTHING, no call of course. I call again today and get a very sweet CSR named Breanna. Clearly she has care and understanding in her voice and is listening (first person to do so) but her hands are tied. They work from home, they cannot send you to a supervisor or anyone what so ever, they cannot edit anything on your bill. In all the calling and back and forth of me TRYING to pay my bill they have added a new month on my account and NO ONE can remove it. So I pay 2 months during trying to cancel when I've been IN GYM to cancel, emailing the GM who informs me he is enjoying personal time, NOT getting call backs and then to be told by the first nice rep that I have to go back into the gym that turned me away and said to call. So I was forced into paying an extra month. Paid my $102.82 for 2 months not used and an annual yearly fee for the 1 month I actually could utilize because this company can't get this act together. Crooks. Also since I signed up I continuously get texts to come sign up still despite saying I already have. read more
