Love this place. Hubby and I joined at the end of last August. We are Gen X age and looking to build some up lost muscle and lose some weight. The gym is beautiful and very clean. All staff from the front desk, trainers, and cleaning crew are friendly and helpful. I took advantage of the free training session with Gigi Walls. Together we worked on a sustainable plan. I was never badgered to buy any supplements or further training. However, I enjoyed our session and booked some more. I'm down 22lbs and feel fantastic. I weight train and take the Alpha class(Vic is great). Gigi is encouraging and really listened to my concerns and goals. My husband does training with Manuel and has seen similar improvements. The pools and locker rooms are very clean. Dry sauna, chill pool, and hot tubs are available at this location. So sorry we waited so long to join. read more

I'm absolutely fed up with this location. If you are a basketball player, do not waste your money here. They clearly don't care about the basketball community anymore. The courts are constantly closed without any notice. If it's not for pickleball "maintenance," it's for endless birthday parties. It's getting ridiculous--you show up ready to play during open gym hours, and the court is suddenly blocked off for a party that wasn't on the schedule. Other major issues: Filthy Floors: The court floors are rarely cleaned. They are incredibly dusty and slippery, which is a massive injury risk. For the price of a Life Time membership, the floors should be pristine. Wasted Space: There is plenty of empty flex space in this building, but management refuses to use it. They would rather kick basketball members off the court than use the other areas. Zero Maintenance: They'll spend money on pickleball instantly, but they won't fix the basketball hoops. We are left playing with "kid-sized" balls or cheap gear that belongs in a daycare, not a premium fitness club. read more

I am actually a member of the Las Colinas Lifetime but I visit the Flower Mound club every now and then for a change of scenery and to play against unfamiliar pickleball players in a different venue. Altogether, I've been a Lifetime member off and on going back to 2003, and while there's always plenty of comparison and criticism from members, there isn't a better fitness operation around. Even though I don't go to this location often, I'm very comfortable with its layout because it's pretty much identical to my old club in Columbus, Ohio. While I have not taken any classes at Flower Mound, it is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and want in a club. In addition to the multitude of weights, classes, personal training, and treadmills, it also has a recovery area which, although smaller than Las Colinas, offers the massage chairs, cryo chairs and leg compression found at my home club. The #1 reason I belong to Lifetime from an amenities standpoint is because of recovery/rejuvenation - that alone is worth the price of admission. I love that Flower Mound took one of its two hot tubs in the main lap pool area and converted it to a cold plunge - so it's worth the trip when I go over there to play pickleball and then go to the tubs. As for pickleball itself, the courts are next to the basketball court as they occupy part of what was once a full area devoted to hoops. The courts are side by side and have no dividers. Last time I was there the club left a basket of balls that everyone plucked from when they didn't want to chase down a ball from their court, which I don't think is a great fix as you end up with tons of balls lying around that someone could step or trip on. As for the pickleball experience itself, the players are friendly, the space is a bit humid, sometimes there's an attendant there - sometimes not. The experience is the equivalent of what you'll find at a municipal operation like Wagon Wheel in Coppell or L.B. Houston - smaller parks with some programming, except that it is indoors with fewer courts. I don't get the impression it's run very well, or that it's a top club priority, but it's good enough to work into my playing routine from time to time when I want to change it up. Overall, the Flower Mound Lifetime, based on the time I've spent there, is an excellent health and fitness choice packed with value no matter your health mission. read more

This gym is absolutely the best around. I've been a member of LA Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, etc and none of them can stand up to this. They have everything! they have a Jacuzzi, a dry and wet sauna, showers, massage chairs, cryogenic chairs, and all sorts of different training equipment. Three pools?! I've been signed up since December 31st and so far so good. Krissy was the one who initially got me signed up and anytime I have to call up there she's usually the one who answers the phone and fixes stuff for me. Staff is super nice. I haven't had any issues. I really like the club. I use it for fitness, pickleball, and I may pick up yoga and kickboxing. I love using the hot tub, massage chair, and steam room as a reward every day I work out. The food at the cafe isn't bad either. We do need some outdoor shaded pickleball courts though. read more

Family friendly. They offer summer camp, parents night out, swim team, swim practice, and childcare when there for workouts. We are there 6 out of 7 days. It's a serene sanctuary during morning hours. Concierge staff is the best. I moved my residence to be closer to LFT flower mound. This is my little slice of heaven. The outdoor pool is closed for maintenance 75% of the time. Most of the squat racks in the gym are reserved and occupied by group classes, so good luck training on your own. I doubt there's a membership limit at this club, as it often so overcrowded it's hard to complete an entire workout. Pretty expensive for what you get. read more

I love this location so very much. Just a note the yoga studio at this one is NOT on the 2nd floor it is on the 1st floor across from the locker rooms in it's own studio corner. You go in and they have their own lobby with the cubbies. Sign up ahead of time because for the most part all yoga sessions fill up quickly. They have the usual cold eucalyptus towels/mats/blocks/bolsters/mat cleaner. The weight area upstairs is plentiful and they have separate areas for your Alpha and GTX. One thing they could improve on is upgrade all cardio machines to sync with your watch and etc. Front desk is awesome, it is in a beautiful area and there is plentiful parking. The amount of classes are amazing so whether you love barre, strength, yoga, or cycle etc you will find something that is your forte. read more

Changed my review to 1 star. This place is overflowing with mouth breathing teenagers and people who love the sound of their own voice so much that they don't shut up. Standing around chatting in the free weight areas, people on their phones sitting on machines not working out and then the saunas literally PACKED with morons. Steer clear. read more

**** UPDATE ******* We have given Yvette enough time to fix the issue and nothing has been done. She hasn't sent any emails to remind customers of the guidelines for using the Family locker room, she hasn't made her staff accountable for making sure that customers without families are using the correct locker rooms and she hasn't honored her plan of putting fobs on the side of the doors so that the only customers with families can use them. Whoever is in charge of general managers in DFW please contact me or my husband. I would love to see how you're going to make sure your staff take accountability for their role as an employee of Lifetime Fitness. I know it's not that easy, but if you can install a slide for toddlers that drops into the water, that will make a difference for the indoor and outdoor pool. This is the only reason why I am considering switching to the Grapevine's The Rec. Their indoor pool is so much more fun for the little kids. Other than the lack of fun structure for little kids, I find this place to be an excellent facility with well trained staff. Their outdoor pool doesn't have funny hours like CAC of Flower Mound, and I love their outdoor cafe where I can get a slushy for a reasonable price. This place has seriously gone downhill- the people who go here have gotten downright rude, and the place feels snooty and unwelcoming (along with the insane prices). For a neighborhood gym, I expect a friendlier atmosphere but I've had too many negative interactions to enjoy my time, or even want to keep coming back. I feel like a second class citizen with the snootiness here and the scary looking men who openly ogle the women. My wife and family use Life Time Fitness in Flower Mound 5-6 days a week. The management team at the facility has decided that they will not enforce the Family Locker Room policy, and men, without families, are shortcutting through the room to access the pool facilities. My wife, infant son, and 6 year old daughter use these rooms to change and shower regularly, and should not feel unsafe or violated to use them. This has been brought up to local and regional management, and the feedback received was for my wife to personally confront these men when they try and cut through. This is not her responsibility, it is the responsibility of the management of the Flower Mound Life Time facility to ensure members follow all rules and to keep their employees and customers safe. If any issues do arise we will work with local law enforcement to ensure people can be kept safe and any negligence on the part of Life Time Fitness will be held accountable through the due process of the legal system. Update 4/4/23: Despite the comment from Life Time below we have been waiting to hear back from Ivette Barahona (Local Management) for several days. We have both called her several times and are still waiting for her to bother with returning our phone calls. Update 4/5/23: Still waiting on Ivette to give me call. Someone shattered the passenger window of my husband's brand new car around 5 pm a couple of months ago. He parked about 10 spaces from the entrance of Lifetime Fitness. It took only 10 minutes for the police to arrive because they were responding to another car break in there. One of our neighbors had the same thing happen to them at this location a couple of years ago. When I mentioned it on our town's Facebook page I found it has been a common reoccurrence as many members have had the same issue. The club is great but they need private security that patrols the parking lot of this club. I suggest members take UBER, drive a junker or park at Kroger and walk to LTF to work out. read more

This gym is not family-friendly, and the staff (group fitness department and management specifically) is not helpful at all, too much drama between instructors and the club's own members. I love Life Time and the variety of classes they have! Life Time gives me a large variety of classes and I love being able to really have wonderful instructors. I can't really speak to the weight lifting areas, since I mostly do the classes. I love the steam room and hot tub area. They could improve on what they offer the 8-12 year old group. My girl is 9 and is a bit too old for the "baby/young child area, but not old enough to do the classes with me yet. Just rock climbing gets a little old. I would love for them to start offering her more to do so it's a good experience for both of us. read more

Lifetime you hurt so good! Every time I work out I'm reminded how great this place is -- I dread the gym but if we want to eat we must go and what better place than Lifetime? Front desk staff is always cheerful even when I've just rolled out of bed to drag my bootie here. Staff around building is smiling and always cleaning! Gym is spotless and the staff constantly sanitize surfaces plus they have wipes and sanitizer everywhere for you to use. Equipment is new and you can always find a machine. TVs are on a variety of channels to keep you going on your cardio. Classes are taught by the highly educated and energetic instructors who have your well being in mind. Room is spaced out and reservations are required but the app makes it easy. You can always hop on the wait list and the teacher can most often find room for you to join in at a safe distance. Shout outs to Lucy for her superb strength classes and Jessica for her Zumba passion as well as Stephanie for her kick butt motivation in strike class! When you join you get a free PT and nutrition session -- I recommend Garrett -- he is so helpful and knowledgeable without being demeaning if you're scared of weights like I am. Body fat going down thanks to his healthy hints that I can use for a lifestyle change not just a quick fix. For kids the pool is wonderful with lifeguards always on duty during family swim and they have private family changing rooms with towels --- they make it easy when you are dragging kids out of the pool wet and cold! Adult spa and sauna are such a nice retreat. I have not tried yoga but it's on my list and you do bring your own mat. LifeSpa is convenient with a super staff -- I recommend Pearl and her stellar hair skills for your after workout blow dry! Massages ask for LeRoy and be sure to use your LifeBucks for spa pampering! Lastly, the LifeCafe is delicious -- smoothies and protein will help you refuel and the staff will always offer new suggestions of ingredients I was afraid of but now I like -- avocado and oat milk for starters! This is a culture that appears to have been created by the General Manager (closest office to the guest entrance). I can't tell you how many time I have overheard the personal trainers yucking it up and laughing about his little sexual getaways with another female member in the family changing area. Isn't he married with child? At the time - I spoke to my AE about this and let him know if my wife or son experienced anything while changing to swim there would be serious issues. My AE confirmed this was happening and said he would gently mention something. He soon left / transferred to another lifetime. read more

This place is the best place to work out. It is so clean and the environment is really great. There is even a cafeteria area where you can eat food that is freshly made with calories to back up the taste, whether it's a good taste or not hehehe .... at least you know what your calorie intake is. Well I'm sure you're asking yourself "then why did she rate it 3 stars?" .... well the facility is really awesome and all but the fact of the matter is ... I had a really expensive piece of jewelry get misplaced here. The next thing I know the employees here called me and told me that my piece of jewelry was found!! So I end up stopping by and guess what? It's "GONE" again. By this time I'm a bit upset, I mean wouldn't you be? I only come here as a guest of a family member when I'm in town, but on a recent visit I was impressed by the number of machines and the friendliness of members. On a Saturday morning around 10am, there were lots of people present, but plenty of equipment easily available for weightlifting and training. Good selection of free weights in several spots, with floor space as well for exercises requiring more space. There is plenty of parking, and everything was clean and well-maintained. read more

I've recently joined this gym with Morgan. She was super friendly and has made our membership amazing. My sons enjoy the daycare for two hours while I work out and then I take them swimming. What more could I ask for? They boys are pretty wore out by the time we leave and I'm loving feeling amazing after my work out! Friendly staff. Amazing food in the cafe. I've had a pedicure and my eyebrows done at the spa, slightly pricey but amazing staff! Enjoy talking with them. I love it. My one on one work out with Justin the personal trainer was amazing. Even thought we declined any further sessions he was very nice and helpful. Great workout equipment! Over all An amazing place and I go 4-5 days a week. read more

We've been members for a few months now and we come almost every single day. I train primarily in Olympic weightlifting so I can't speak upon the classes or anything like that. Pros -Eleiko barbells both 15 and 30kg - very good childcare hours (2.5 hrs per day) - lots of equipment -24 hrs -towel service - childcare can be used while getting a spa treatment -massage is excellent at the spa Cons - most of the front desk staff are stand-offish and two particularly that are not pleasant at all which is disappointing for a lifetime gym - no kilo plates but bumper plates for weightlifting -the platforms are all jacked up and uneven on the sides - the CAFE IS SO INCONSISTENT in quality of food, smoothies and the coffee isn't good either plus way way too overpriced for the type of food they serve -seriously the cafe menu can vary depending on who is behind the counter. We've ordered a few times out of necessity and convenience for our two kids but their regular eggs and toast did not taste good, my son had an açaí bowl prepared with lots of fruits and very filling and the next day it was half the size but still $8 because the person making it is different...again, very disappointing -I've tried to shower twice and had to turn away because it was filthy (hairs on the ground and obviously very unclean) - people consistently complaining and bickering in the weights area especially during the peak hours 5-7pm Mon-Thursday -the swim classes are incredibly disappointing, we had our daughter do the intro to splash-- the first day they cancelled it without telling anyone, the second time it was a sub and my daughter did not take to the guy well at all, the third time the indoor pool was closed so they had to do it in the direct sunlight, my daughter kept crying at the top of her lungs and the "master instructor" kept proceeding trying to get her to do the drills. I had to stop the whole thing early because it was more harmful to proceed with the class with her traumatized of the whole experience... We were offered another free month which I will not be taking. -something is always out of order with the sauna or one of the pools -my 1 year old daughter but another kid twice for taking her toy --same kid in two days and she was suspended for 3 days but when I picked her up there were a swarm of children in the toddler area and only one person watching. They should keep a closer eye on the kids and diffuse situations before a toddler gets frustrated and bites but one person for 12-15 toddlers is not enough supervision. Why did we have to suffer for their ratio problem?? -a lot of people here have very poor gym etiquette, not just the teens but even grown ups...it's sad Overall I come here for the childcare and the weights and try not to bother anyone or take anything personal with the rude front desk staff... read more

Lifetime does cost more. If you cannot stomach that, then there are a lot of other options in the area. Price is not a con or a pro for me, it is what it is for the expected level of service; however, I do rate with the value in mind. I do believe for a big box "top end" provider, this is the best in the area. Granted, I have not tried the smaller outfits, but bang for you buck I think you get a lot here. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The classes (I've only tried the free ones) are exactly what you expect, and the Yoga room is really nice. The basketball gym is almost always being used, but must say it is a nice gym. The workout equipment is well maintained, even though I have never figure out how to use the advanced functions (that is most likely my fault). I've never had a problem getting the equipment I need. As with any public pool, you will find stuff floating around in it, but this facility does have an indoor lap pool for adults and I have found that it is pristine on most days. I wish it was heated to the levels as the club in North Dallas/Addison. The facility overall is always clean from locker room to equipment floor. That is important to me. If there are slips here, as noted in some other reviews, I missed it. From my experiences, the customers here keep to themselves and are respectful of the other patrons. Overall, not issues with the folks that go here. The cafe is good. I liked everything I've eaten there and the staff is really nice. read more

Two weeks in a row we have showed up to do the kids classes and they've been cancelled!! No email sent out and it shows they are teaching them when you look at the schedule on their app. Such a joke.
