Unfortunately, that room has now been converted into manager offices, and the class has been moved to the gymnasium--where half the court is still used for basketball during our session. It's noisy, distracting, no mirrors or proper sound system, and simply not the environment we signed up for. To make matters worse, several popular classes have been cancelled or relocated, and the locker rooms are consistently smelly and moldy, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Many of us are considering canceling our memberships. We've voiced our concerns, but the management seems indifferent. It's incredibly disappointing to see a community-focused organization disregard the needs of its members like this. I hope the YMCA reconsiders these decisions and starts prioritizing member experience again. Part of a lengthy email response regarding the changes at the location: "The changes happening within the branch are certainly big ones, and I can see how, without the full context, it would feel like space is being taken away from the people who make the Y what it is--our members. What I hope to share is that while we are repurposing Group Ex 1 into office space, this shift is a reflection of the YMCA's growth as an organization, not a step away from our mission. Our team is expanding because we're serving more families, more youth, and more community programs than ever before. That kind of growth means we need more behind-the-scenes support to keep it all going--but I absolutely understand how it can look like a loss on the surface. I know that doesn't replace the feeling of losing a room or restore the exact layout that once was, but please know--this is not a step away from our members. It's a step toward being able to support even more of you. That includes exploring ways to maximize what space we do have, and yes, continuing to look at long-term growth opportunities in and around the building. We truly value you and your feedback. Terrible gym. Incompetent and rude staff. First time I've been kicked off a machine in 30 years of…read moreworking out in gyms across the world...literally while in the middle of my set by an employee unracking my weights and telling me to get off cause they are moving the exact machine I was currently using,.. I only had two sets left, mind you, and my sweater was on machine, I was getting ready to sit in it and use it, and the employee starts unracking my weights. I said "excuse me, I am using this and he said well we are moving it"! Never ever would this happen at 24 hour fitness or any other commercial big or small private gym. They know how to put their patrons first at those other places. IF he actually was taught to put members first, he would've let me finish the extra three minutes it would have taken me to complete my sets... never going back here. Or they could've put a sign to not use machine, like all other gyms in the world do. I have been a personal trainer all my life and never have I witnessed anything like what happened to me here today. If you're serious about your workouts and your time in the gym, don't bother with this incompetent staff that doesn't know how to put paying members first. What I experienced today is like eating at a restaurant and while you're in the middle of taking a bite of your half eaten burger, the waiter comes to your table and grabs your plate with your fries from underneath you. Who does that? LOL. But that is not the worst of it.. after the manager talks to me, the rude employee that kicked me off my machine (older man) comes over to where I am and rolls his eyes and tells me "get over it"!!! I've never been spoken to so poorly by a grown man. Shame on him for speaking to a lady that way. Zero respect, zero common sense, zero gym etiquette or know how. These people are running a joke of an establishment and their employees know nothing about serious training or why people actually go to the gym and yet they work at a gym. Canceled my family's membership and never going back to this dump.

I have only lived in Lantana since March of this year. I was excited when our pool in the…read moreneighborhood opened as we had a pool in our backyard in my previous location and it was a lot of work and I looked forward to enjoying the pool without all the upkeep. I was so pleasantly surprised by all the equipment. First of all there is more than one pool and I have only been at the north pool. It's a lovely pool up to 5 ft, no diving, but beautiful landscape and plenty of tables and chairs and recliners. There is also a little "splash town" that I like to call it where there are these huge rings you can run through with sprinklers on you and also these water sprouts that comeup from the ground that are tons of fun for my 14 month old twin grandsons. Clean and fun. There is also a gym that seems to have the most popular equipment and they are in the process of giving it a "facelift". There is a great play area outside of the pool area and gym that is great fun for the kids. It's new and they had a grand opening and passed out refreshments and had a balloon lady and everything. I'm looking forward to the next few years being here. Great amenities and great people to be around.

Very disappointing…read more.. My husband and I were looking into joining ProCore to get personal training or join the group workouts. The first day we came, the front desk lady was very nice and set us up to come the next day to get a tour of the center and to discuss options. We met with the owner and talked with him for about an hour and a half going through an assessment of what we are looking for and what our fitness goals are. It was nice to have a trainer actually do this as we hadn't experienced that from the past personal training gym we were going to! This was a plus to us. He told us we could text him to set up a time to try out the group workouts for free. We texted him the next day and told him what days we could do, he let us know a lady (I'm assuming a trainer) would be contacting us to set that up. He also asked my husband if he could personally set something up with him one on one to get some training sessions started with him. He asked when would be a good time for him to call my husband, my husband let him know, but he never called nor contacted us to reschedule. Also, the lady that was suppose to call us to set up the group sessions never called either. Obviously they don't need new clients who care to join their gym so we decided we are going to continue searching for a good personal training gym in our area. Very disappointing as it looked like a cool gym, but when the owner/trainer can't even give us a call when they said they would, it tells us something. Worst thing is we haven't heard from them since!
