I…read moreintentionally scheduled both surgeries within the same calendar year so my insurance deductible and annual out-of-pocket maximum would be met once. I explained my strategy to S2S at the 1st therapy appointment. They said this will not be an issue, and they dealt with similar situations all the time. Everything proceeded without issue until about October 2021. When I checked in for my appointment, I was told I owed a copay, despite my out-of-pocket maximum having already been satisfied. I immediately raised the concern, questioned why I owed this charge, but paid it anyway. I explained my strategy to S2S again, and said that I will not pay any out of pocket expense during 2021, and that we should cancel any future appointments until this was resolved. I was told it must be an error on BCBS's end, and they would get it taken care of, and that I needed the therapy, so please continue my scheduled appointments. They told me at my next appointment that BCBS said I had exceeded my maximum allowed sessions for the year, but not to worry. They would get another prescription from my Surgeon for additional therapy, and I would not be charged anything. I suggested cancelling that appointment until they received the prescription, and BCBS had approved it. They assured me that I would not be charged anything, and they were 100% confident they would handle it. Based on these clear and repeated assurances, I continued treatment in good faith. At no point during my visits was I informed of an outstanding balance, provided documentation of charges, or told payment would be required. After a few more visits, when checking in, I asked for an update. I was told that I had a balance, and that they had been adding charges every time I came. I was very upset, reminded them of our many conversations about this, & cancelled that appointment, and any future appointments. They kept pressuring me to continue my therapy. I told them that if & when they get these charges removed and provided me with written assurance that I owed nothing, then I would return. I never heard anything from S2S until several months later. I was contacted by their accounting department and informed that I had a balance of nearly $700. I again explained the prior assurances made by management. I was told the matter would be reviewed and that I would be contacted if there was an issue. I never heard anything else from S2S, until more than a year of no communication. It was their accounting department asking if I contact BCBS and appeal their case and try to get BCBS to agree to pay the balance. I agreed to help, and spent almost 4 hours working directly with my insurance provider trying to appeal the charges, but was unsuccessful. I promptly relayed this information to S2S. They thanked me for trying and hung up. I assumed that was the end of it. Nearly four years after treatment, I was contacted by Meredith Tittle (the owner) offering me a payment plan, despite the prior assurances that these charges would never be my responsibility. I informed Meredith (in detail) about every conversation I had with her people. Soon thereafter, the account was sent to collections and reported to the credit bureaus, but the new amount is over $1,000. This dispute is not about ability to pay--it is about reliance on repeated representations made by staff who stated they had authority and assured me I would not be charged. Those assurances were the sole reason I continued treatment. My advice to others is simple: do not rely on verbal assurances from S2S regarding billing or insurance coverage--get everything in writing.

This little splash pad is great fun if it's not too crowded and you can get a couple chairs. Totally worth it to guarantee a shady spot to rest and eat! They say the cabanas hold 10 people but I think that'd be pretty crowded. They look more suited for 6 guests when you consider most people have bags, towels, strollers, and small ice chests to store as well. The splash pad itself is small, this isn't a huge water park. Seems best for little kids, like 10 and under. Most kids we saw were probably under 7. Lots of little toddlers! The bigger kids spend most of their time up in the main playground and on the bigger slides, leaving the outskirts of the pad to the little ones. There's a few toddler stations and itty bitty slides, perfect for babies with some supervision. Just be on alert, there's always a big kid or 3 that'll come barreling through at any moment. There are no pools here, no lazy river. It's all splash pad! 14,000 square feet; a "water play area equipped with four slides, a water dump tower, a fill wall for your water toys, animal-shaped water cannons, and a designated toddler play area." There's also concessions; sandwiches, chips, drinks. And a little stand that has anything you might have left at home: swimsuits, towels, goggles, sunscreen, swim diapers... We had the best time here. We were lucky enough to visit when it wasn't packed. Even though it's brutally hot out, we stayed cool in the shade after being splashed. We're zoo members so we'll definitely be back.

I was told/showed that these panels would begin producing energy immediately, it took almost 3 months I was told/showed that the app for my phone would show each panel individually to determine if one was faulty and needed replacing-the app shows the entire system (at best) I was told/showed that if the system did not produce as advertised, a stipend would be forthcoming making up the difference until the issue could be resolved. (should have known that was a lie!) I was told/showed that the panel were impact resistant to hail and that they were insured separate from my homeowners insurance in the unlikely event one was broken. Half of them are shattered on my roof now, dealing with homeowners insurance to get monies to replace. All in all, I got taken good. I didn't think, that with the monies (and this was a big expensive project) i spent, i would be lied to, to this degree. Just goes to show...trusting contractors is risky. Do your homework and avoid companies that blantantly lie. I pray for better luck/results with your project

I was so pleasantly surprised by all the equipment. First of all there is more than one pool and I have only been at the north pool. It's a lovely pool up to 5 ft, no diving, but beautiful landscape and plenty of tables and chairs and recliners. There is also a little "splash town" that I like to call it where there are these huge rings you can run through with sprinklers on you and also these water sprouts that comeup from the ground that are tons of fun for my 14 month old twin grandsons. Clean and fun. There is also a gym that seems to have the most popular equipment and they are in the process of giving it a "facelift". There is a great play area outside of the pool area and gym that is great fun for the kids. It's new and they had a grand opening and passed out refreshments and had a balloon lady and everything. I'm looking forward to the next few years being here. Great amenities and great people to be around.

Not only did we find a great, safe, and fun place to workout, we have met some of our best friends which has made Denton feel like home faster than we could have ever expected. I was working 70-80 hours a week, getting by on 4-5 hours sleep nightly, Not making time to exercise, eating on the run often fast food, and burdened with stress I was unable to manage. I was a mess! With the tools GYIS uses to establish motivation, encouragement and accountability, I have successfully restructured all 3 areas and am already stronger, sleeping better, and after 6 weeks I am 23 lbs lighter. While the workouts are different day to day and include great variety, they are challenging. The trainers are great at expertly describing the proper form for each exercise and providing modifications for different fitness levels all the while cheering us on! Using MyFitnessPal has educated me about nutrition while also providing accountability and motivation. Simply put, I just follow the directions: Attend the 14 exercise sessions monthly. Exercise 5-6 times weekly Eat clean at 5 small meals daily Drink lots of water Sleep 7 or more hours each night I use the tools provided: MyFitnessPal My Coach app Recipes provided It is great having a fitness family all striving to be our best together and providing encouragement along the way. If you need a new plan of action regarding your health, GYIS is the way to go...no gimmicks, no shallow promises, just proven methods and well educated trainers to guide you as needed. It takes me exactly 8 mins to get there in the morning from Uptown so it works well. The classes are small and quite personal. They make sure you are doing everything properly and guide you through your weight loss or wait gain needs :) For me, its more of a support system if you want to call it that. I know they push us hard lots of times and there is no way I would work out that hard on my own unless someone was pushing me like that to keep me going. And seeing other people perform better only makes me try harder. So I am looking forward to the results in the upcoming months. But I highly recommend this class or Boot Camp for anyone looking to get in shape without a Gym commitment or contract.

I find this motivating not intimidating. My personal training coach is Madison Sandvig, I see her twice a week for 30 minutes each session and she always has a great workout ready for me. Because of her, I have toned up, lost weight & inches and have reached new personal bests! She brings the right amount of energy and holds me accountable, which is exactly what I need.
