They can never sell their customers the right parts, and always makes you wait weeks on end for a part that WILL NOT fit your vehicle. They're just in it for the money. This company is horrible. I was rear ended and my vehicle was towed there because I was taken to the ER. There customer service is terrible. They will not except AAA or credit cards. I was injured and unable to go there and they refused to let me pay over the phone. They wouldn't work with my insurance company either. They are not accommodating at all because the longer your car is there the more money they make. Once I was able to pick up my car I found that there was mud all over the Interior and exterior of my vehicle. I would not recommend this company at all. read more

I ordered a door and panel for my car. I called a week later to make sure my part was at the location and they said yes. Then when I showed up, the same day that I'd called, they did not have either parts. They claimed they had called to tell me earlier in the week, but my phone records show otherwise. They don't have anymore of the door panels and they no longer have the correct color door. I am waiting for my money to be refunded. To bad about my precious time on my only day off. I bought a door for my ford for 700 dollars, I've been waiting for the door, at first Jeff said it was delivered than sent me a tracking number, when I called the shipping company, try said it's in their warehouse. I offered to pick it up they said it needs to be authorized by the seller (b and r). I called and asked them 3 times to call the shipping company to release the door to us and it's now been 3 days, no response, no answer, now they put me on hold for 45 minutes. Looks like they have a great establishment with cool guys but just don't know what to do when times get tough. All I asked for is a minute of there time to call the shippers And a short response. Worst parts yard in the state. Somehow even tho they have 5 people on staff to answer calls they never do and I get transferred to the call center. Then, when I actually come in to get a car seat they tell me I have to wait 24 hours for them to pull it.... something that a monkey could remove in 5 mins. BE CAUTIOUS WHEN DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. There are so many negative reviews on here of people being told their parts are ready or will be shipped and they are not shipped or it's the wrong part or the part is broken. I needed a small part. It's VERY hard to find this part. I sent pictures of my truck showing what and where the part is. It was only a $30 part, BUT it is VERY hard to find this part. Finally they sent me a picture of the part they pulled. It was the part. Was told it went to shipping. Still didn't get the part. Kept calling and goes to voicemail half the time, or they say will call you back. After all this turns out they won't ship something that is less than $50. Hey, I can totally understand this. And I can totally understand that they have a million people ordering a million parts. I truly believe the person I was dealing with really meant well, just wish I would have known all of this at the beginning instead of going through all of this for 2 weeks. I think instead of blaming them just chalk it up to the nature of the business. So the last word is, be cautious about doing business, there is more than likely you won't get what you want. read more

I ordered a fuel pump on 3/27/15 on B&R's website and waited for the e-mail confirmation saying that my part was ready to be picked up; After receiving my e-mail confirmation I had my girlfriend take me out to the shop to pick it up. The gentleman behind the counter was nice and helpful, he printed out my confirmation of payment and told me to go to the black door and ring the doorbell to receive the part, all of which I did. The parts guy came out, took my invoice confirmation and told me he would be back with the fuel pump. After waiting for about 15-20 minutes the same gentleman emerged from the back and told me they didn't have the part on the shelf. He offered no reason as to why it wasn't back there even after receiving the confirmation that it was indeed ready to be picked up. He kept offering to UPS it to me, which to that I told him I would rather him call me when it was ready to be picked and I would come back out. All of this happened on 3/27/15 which was annoying because I had to take a personal day off to start working on my rig and now that was a waste so I'm out wages for that day and still didn't have the part I needed. I then e-mailed their customer support address and did not even receive so much as a reply or an apology on their part. Pretty ridiculous. Fast forward to 3/30/15, after hearing hide nor hair from B&R I decided to call them on my lunch break at work. The phone system took forever (which I understand they get busy and there's limited man power for the phones) but when I got through I was greeted by someone who sounded annoyed that I was calling and like they were in an extreme rush to get through the phone call. I asked about the status of my part and gave him my first and last name. I was told that the part was ready for pick up and that I could come get it at my convenience. Well, seeing as how I had already experienced an issue on Friday, I asked him to physically make sure it was there and waiting. I waited on hold for 10 minutes or so before he came back and offered to UPS it to me. I told him I needed it by that following Wednesday since it was one of my two days off. I received the UPS'd part and went to install it but it wound up being defective and not working. I don't blame B&R for this because I understood the risk of buying a used fuel pump. The issue I have is the lack of communication within the company and the lack of following up with a customer to make sure that they're taken care of. I feel as though I didn't call that Monday, I never would have received the part and they would have just kept my money without ever giving me anything for it. I have been going to B&R for years now. Every time I have ever walked through the doors, they are quick to help me and very kind. As a single mother to three, I don't have a lot of money to spend, and am easily led astray to paying too much for things (especially things I know little about). A young gentleman named Darian helped me out about 3 months ago with a transmission I needed. I'm not car savvy and didn't know what all I would need and felt overwhelmed by the entire situation. He was very patient and kind and took his time to help me understand. He sold me a transmission and a warranty for an amazing price and closed the deal quickly so I could get my transmission quicker. All while not being a stereotypical salesman and trying to push me into something I couldn't afford. I felt like he appreciated my business and treated me like a person instead of a dollar sign. I would recommend if you take a trip to B&R, to get help from this young gentleman. He's very respectful and offers really reasonable prices. I was highly satisfied with the service. read more

I bought a trailer hitch for a 2001 Toyota highlander. I asked the parts agent to send me a photo of the parts before sending them and asked that they send all brackets, bolts, and wiring that went with this unit. I never received the photo of the parts that were takin off of the car, but got the hitch, ONLY the hitch. The part cost me $105.00 and change. I called and talked agent telling him that the only thing I got was the hitch, no brackets, no bolts and no wiring, not really exspecting the wiring. I then requested that they send me the bolts and brackets. A day or two later the agent called me back and said they could not find the bolts or brackets, I told them that I need to send it back then, it does me no good if I don't have all the parts. The sales agent got back to me a day or two later and said that, that would be OK but that I needed to pay for the return postage, something that I didn't think I needed to pay for because I didn't get all the parts to begin with or the photos I asked for before they shiped the unit. I was able to locate a unit locally for $85.00 with the bolts, brackets, wiring and hitch. I went to the UPS store to ship this unit back, only to find out it was going to cost me $108.00 to send it back, yes I feel like I've been racked over the coals, totally F%$ked on this deal. Needless to say I will not be using you guys again and will NOT be recommending you to anyone else. read more

Eugene staff is rude and very uninformative. Wanted me to purchase some wheels sight unseen, then if I didn't want them they would give me back my money via check, after I give them cash. This place is a joke I tell em I need a radiator for my 02 Audi A6 and they said ya we have 1 in Albany so I drive from Eugene to Albany and so I pay and they gave me the wrong radiator so I take it to the prairie road store and exchanged it and yet it's the wrong one again and if u think 3rd times a charm well u would b wrong so I ask for my money back they tell me I need my I.d. Which is at home but I the receipt with the wrong radiator but have to have my I.d. So I take the bus home (cuz I don't have the right radiator). I get my ID and go back and wen I get there and the dick faced manager wants to give me a check even though I paid cash and it costs money to cash the check so I never got my full refund they ruined my 5yr old daughters Halloween and I will never go there again and I warn everyone that this company doesnt know wat they're talking about and it's a giant pain in the a** to get a refund if the employees don't know wat part u need even wen u give em the old part to make sure the new part matches the old part. Ordered a stereo from their website. Called to MAKE sure the part was there and available. Was told by phone it is IN THE LOBBY for sure. Drove 50 miles there and they couldn't find it. According to thier website they had 4 other USB style Stereos ON SITE. Non were there. Called to complain at the 800 number was told first off that the USB ones are a hot item. yea...but you mean to tell me they sold FIVE in the hour they were open? And those five had been sitting for about 3 weeks since being pulled and SUDDENLY someone comes in on this day and buys them all? Then was told that sometimes things aren't taken off the Inventory...I'm sorry I ran an inventory for 5 years and if mine was off as bad as this one was I'd fire myself. Gas is $4/ gallon. So after a lengthy discussion about the exact part number needed to match the rear end for my truck I waited a week for the part to show up and it was the wrong part number (un-useable). So then I waited another week got the correct part number installed it and it has a screaming pinion bearing (worthless garbage) I believe it was a core. the worst part about this mess is the customer service. I was told over and over I would be called back. never once was I called back. Then I was told I would get a refund within 24-48 hrs. that was 1 week ago. was told today it would be 24-72hrs???? so I will be out of a truck a total of 6 weeks so far because I chose B&R over a reputable company. They have lied and misrepresented their ability to supply the parts ordered. The salesman acts like he is doing me a favor by screwing me over. Once again B&R doesn't disappoint with being disappointing. Earlier today my wife called the Eugene yard and asked about tires, she was told that they have two and they were $20.00 each. They told her to give them our debit card info to hold them, I told her no, I would go straight there and pay for them there. I was there within 30 minutes of the phone call. When I arrived I wasn't helped at first by the guy my wife was speaking to, it was another guy. The guy looked it up on the computer and said they didn't have any of those tires, then he saw one in Corvallis for $35.00 if I wanted that one. Seems to me as an ol' bait and switch. Glad my wife didn't give them my debit card info to charge it for items they don't have.So, this was a waste of my time. This isn't the first time I have had to write one of these reviews for B&R. This place sucks balls. I went to B and R for a part, was told they have it, given a price and paid for the part. After I paid cash for the part I got the rest of the story. The part was at another location, I had to wait for the part, was told tomorrow I will get a call. Needless to say no fucking call. I called the location that I was told had the part, got transfered back to the location I was led to believe had the part, that I originally went to and paid at. I was then told by the employees that was nice enough to take my cash that I would get the part by the next day, Friday. Didn't happen, no call and no part. Now Saturday has come and gone, no call and no fucking part that I already paid for. This shit shop is closed on Sundays, so it will be coming up on a fucking week for a part I should have had the next day. I will never give this joke of a business another second of my time. I will do what I had planned on doing to begin with. Drive for 2 hours one way and get better customer service. Not only that, B and R's prices are not that great either.
