This place is a gold mine when hiking to find parts. I do not order parts so cannot comment on that side of the business. There are loads of excellent condition parts to be found. The $5 dollar entrance fee is reasonable. Some days you have a scorching dust bowl, others a sobering mud pit. Wearing work boots and gloves is key. Same with a tool bag, backpack, and plastic bags to pack parts in. Hand wipes and paper towels are invaluable for cleaning hands, and parts to see their actual condition. Good to know the vehicle year/models I am looking for to tell the counter person so they can print me a list of the vehicle locations. I also bring a checklist with part numbers and descriptions to make sure I get the correct parts. Only noteworthy critique I have is that most vehicles have oily, rusty drive trains, etc thrown on the the seats. Unfortunately, that can make accessing the interior difficult and damages many interior parts. read more

We ordered and paid for a door from this company. The door was suppose be there in 2 days. We needed it for an upcoming car show. We live almost 2 hours away and were unable to return in 2 days, but went 1 week later. When arriving to get the door, we were informed the door must have been crushed at same time the order was placed. They did not have the decency to apologize. They could have called us to tell us they did not receive the door before we altered our schedules to go pick up an item they did not have. read more

I went to them in high hopes for some running boards for my Truck and everyone at this location was very friendly and nice. The problem came after I picked the running boards I wanted, they said they had to remove them I said that was fine and paid them 305.00 cash in green dollars, physical money. Two days later they called and said they didn't have them, and they were sorry. So, I went to get my money back aka a refund. That's fine no big deal. But then I got there, and they said there were no cash refunds even though I paid in cash they said they had to send a check in the snail mail it was company policy. I do not like this at all, but I say okay. Give them my address this about 6 Dec 2024. weeks went by with no check! I called them several times FINALLY A MONTH AND A HALF LATER they sent my 305.00 dollars on 18 January 2025 I finally got it. I will never do business with them again. read more

I'm updating my experience with B&R... I wanted to help out a local business during the Covid-19 time, guess I should of known better. I needed a fuse panel cover, that's part of the dash board, and they refuse to sell it claiming people are always looking for it.... Ie, like me. They couldn't get it that it was part of the damn dash board and wanted 50 bucks for something I can buy online brand new for 10. Guess their theory is, might as well keep it for 50 then sell it for ten or whatever.. Great way to piss off a returning (and no longer) customer. And the guy who was at the counter "helping" me, what a pleasure that was. Wouldn't listen to a damn word I said, cut me off mid sentence. Terrible service. I was told that Eugene Or had the mirror replacement I needed. It was "ordered" and paid for although I had been told it was already in Eugene. Then I was told it would be ready for pick up the next day so I drove 65 miles to get it. Not there! Then I was told I would be notified the minute it arrived. I never heard from them for a week and only got put on hold if I called. Finally I reached someone today and was first told it had never been ordered!! And I HAVE paid for it! Worst experience ever! They robed me of $5 by telling me they had four of the parts I needed in the yard, sent me out to find them and had none. Then they refused to refund the money they collected to let me go into the yard, Saying there is a fee to visit the yard? Since when is this salvage yard an amusement park? They even refused to give me a receipt for the cash they collected so I had a record of where they hide the money in their company. I'm sure IRS would love to know that they now chare a fee to enter the yard. To make things even worse, I checked when I arrived home and they still advertise several of the wheels I was looking for as being on hand locally, as well as at other locations they control, which is false advertising to draw you into their amusement park. Drove 45 minutes to get there, arrived at 4pm and was told they don't allow people in after 4 despite being "open" until 5:30, had to go home. Drove all the way back out today and was told the seats I wanted were in a "private yard" and I was not allowed to look at them. I had to buy them, and if they were trashed I would be charged a 20% restocking fee. Absolute garbage run business, nobody wears masks, and clearly not worth wasting your time. read more

For 3 days, I recieved no emails and no calls. I have sent emails and called every day since asking for help. All employees blew me off and live support stopped answering. I ordered a part for my 2007 vehicle and was told that it was on the shelf in Portland they told me it was going to be two weeks has been three and I called them and they said that it had been there for a while. I was told when it arrived I would receive a phone call I actually get the people get busy which is why I gave them an additional week. I just got off the phone with them and they said it was about to be restocked. B and R really messed up this time with me. And I've been dealing with them off and on for 25 years. And those were good experiences. This time I spent an hour and 30 minutes waiting to get my part. 15 minutes in, one person told me that they got the part, a wheel and tire combo, and were coming back in from the yard, so just a few minutes to wait. So I wait a hour and 15 minutes, cause any second, they are going to bring me the part. Then I get told, no they don't have the part. It was in their inventory data base, but they actually didn't have the part. Instead of just telling me they didn't have it, they must have searched high and low, while I waited. They should have told me 15 minutes in that they actually didn't have the part. read more
