Great customer service from Salvador!! Awesome experience I found the parts that I needed for my pickup

These folks I feel try to tell you what the state of a used component (in our case, a used engine), but things don't always turn out the way you hope, or they hope. The engine supposedly had 11,000 miles on it. You have to replace the pan gasket and while you're at it, the thermostats, oil, coolant, spark plugs, belts/hoses. Well, when it starts up and smokes, without leaving the shop, now the fun begins. To get "Warranty", your mechanic must fill out a lot of paperwork. Then, as you find another engine (we just had my daughters rebuilt), you get the honor of paying for the R and I AGAIN, then new oil/ coolant. The gal that helped us was apologetic and it was not her fault, it's just maddening to pay for something twice. Fool me once....... read more

This place is a gold mine when hiking to find parts. I do not order parts so cannot comment on that side of the business. There are loads of excellent condition parts to be found. The $5 dollar entrance fee is reasonable. Some days you have a scorching dust bowl, others a sobering mud pit. Wearing work boots and gloves is key. Same with a tool bag, backpack, and plastic bags to pack parts in. Hand wipes and paper towels are invaluable for cleaning hands, and parts to see their actual condition. Good to know the vehicle year/models I am looking for to tell the counter person so they can print me a list of the vehicle locations. I also bring a checklist with part numbers and descriptions to make sure I get the correct parts. Only noteworthy critique I have is that most vehicles have oily, rusty drive trains, etc thrown on the the seats. Unfortunately, that can make accessing the interior difficult and damages many interior parts. read more

Not recommended shit service. Don't answer there phones a don't return your call backs either. Over priced for broken shit. 10/10 don't recommend read more

People were friendly so far as pointing me in the right direction but offered no help. I had to carry a heavy pair of seats a long distance to my truck, I was not allowed to enter the yard With my truck, I understand that's a liability but they had no carts or wheelbarrels available to help that was disappointing although the price was fair. a little goodwill goes a long way. when you're 77 it's an exhausting experience. read more

We ordered and paid for a door from this company. The door was suppose be there in 2 days. We needed it for an upcoming car show. We live almost 2 hours away and were unable to return in 2 days, but went 1 week later. When arriving to get the door, we were informed the door must have been crushed at same time the order was placed. They did not have the decency to apologize. They could have called us to tell us they did not receive the door before we altered our schedules to go pick up an item they did not have. read more

I went to them in high hopes for some running boards for my Truck and everyone at this location was very friendly and nice. The problem came after I picked the running boards I wanted, they said they had to remove them I said that was fine and paid them 305.00 cash in green dollars, physical money. Two days later they called and said they didn't have them, and they were sorry. So, I went to get my money back aka a refund. That's fine no big deal. But then I got there, and they said there were no cash refunds even though I paid in cash they said they had to send a check in the snail mail it was company policy. I do not like this at all, but I say okay. Give them my address this about 6 Dec 2024. weeks went by with no check! I called them several times FINALLY A MONTH AND A HALF LATER they sent my 305.00 dollars on 18 January 2025 I finally got it. I will never do business with them again. read more

They were amazing had everything I need super affordable. Would recommend. They were super nice and very kind

Very pleased with this business. I hit a trailer hitch that had fallen from a vehicle in front of me. It cracked my wheel almost all the way around and I needed something fast. B & R Auto Wrecking had not only the best customer service; it also turned out to be the only place I could find this wheel. I thought the price was very reasonable and included shipping. The wheel arrived promptly and in even better shape than I expected. I was helped by Angel at 541-579-2357 (he gave permission for me to share that). I would and will recommend this salvage company to anyone. Brenna W. read more

I'm the Office manager at Coleman Automotive Repair in Tillamook Or. We have been working with B & R for 5 yrs., and the Last 3 yrs. with the Eugene B & R Team. My go to guy Joshua Hale, he is the most amazing, help full, friendly, fair. He bends over backwards, to get us or find us, the best products within his many lots that they have to choose from. Between the warranty, pricing, and products of used parts are #1. They are always there to make everything right and up front. Joshua is backed with a team that go to bat for him in every way possible, to get us just what we are wanting or needing. The crew at B & R, verifying that all parts work and ready to install, or they replace them no questions asked. I just can't say enough wonderful things about these guys. Thank you all for being the caring, thoughtful, friendly guys that you are. And my go to guy Josh Hale (I call him family) . Thank you again Coleman Automotive Repair read more

I'm updating my experience with B&R... I wanted to help out a local business during the Covid-19 time, guess I should of known better. I needed a fuse panel cover, that's part of the dash board, and they refuse to sell it claiming people are always looking for it.... Ie, like me. They couldn't get it that it was part of the damn dash board and wanted 50 bucks for something I can buy online brand new for 10. Guess their theory is, might as well keep it for 50 then sell it for ten or whatever.. Great way to piss off a returning (and no longer) customer. And the guy who was at the counter "helping" me, what a pleasure that was. Wouldn't listen to a damn word I said, cut me off mid sentence. So yeah, guess no more help this local business anymore....attached is a picture of the little door /cover.. Not worth 50 bucks any day.... read more

I ordered BLACK HOUSING TAIL LIGHTS from your stock car #TIJ427 (Can be proven on original invoice). However I noticed on the shipping email, you changed the stock number to #EKH113. You guys then ended up shipping ORIGINAL CLEAR TAIL LIGHTS from the same year (2005). I DON'T WANT THE CLEAR ONES, I PAID FOR THE BLACK HOUSINGS, SO EITHER YOU CAN SEND ME A FULL REFUND (NO RESTOCK FEE), OR SEND ME WHAT I PAID FOR. Honestly, I gave you guys the benefit of the doubt despite all the negative reviews online...Changed my mind. Wait till the Bureau hears about this... Oh and you guys need to change your phone number on your site because customer service stopped servicing. Anyways have a nice day! read more

Part1) I contacted Raul Luna to find some specific parts for a retrofit for my car project. Not only did I request parts for the retrofit, but the necessary brackets & hardware to mount said parts. I have been quoted 7x days for the parts to be ready for will call at the branch in which the parts are being pulled from. Raul also ordered me some parts from another location & is having them UPS'd to my home Part 2) I will write a separate review for the closing of this transaction, but Raul's customer service makes me VERY optimistic . Thank You Raul Luna & B&R team! read more

Terrible service. I was told that Eugene Or had the mirror replacement I needed. It was "ordered" and paid for although I had been told it was already in Eugene. Then I was told it would be ready for pick up the next day so I drove 65 miles to get it. Not there! Then I was told I would be notified the minute it arrived. I never heard from them for a week and only got put on hold if I called. Finally I reached someone today and was first told it had never been ordered!! And I HAVE paid for it! Supposedly it will be mailed to my house tomorrow. Terrible service, no follow through and hard to reach for information! read more

I know there are capable workers for this company but not at this location. Apparently being a dirtbag with a little man complex is a requirement for this place's counter people. Guy I dealt with today was so confused he didn't even know what color to dye his hair so it looked like a crow shit on his head after eating something resembling nuclear waste. Not to mention his pissy attitude and crusty gauged ear lobes that hung down to his tits. Figure it out son. What's with the age thing, also? Even if I am with my 12 year old he is not allowed to go back in the yard? Seriously? What's next an age limit on learning right from left? read more

Just needed light socket for wife's vehicle. Found it in like 15 mins. And because it was not super expensive or anything. Guy gave it to me free of charge. Great place for the community read more

Worst experience ever! They robed me of $5 by telling me they had four of the parts I needed in the yard, sent me out to find them and had none. Then they refused to refund the money they collected to let me go into the yard, Saying there is a fee to visit the yard? Since when is this salvage yard an amusement park? They even refused to give me a receipt for the cash they collected so I had a record of where they hide the money in their company. I'm sure IRS would love to know that they now chare a fee to enter the yard. To make things even worse, I checked when I arrived home and they still advertise several of the wheels I was looking for as being on hand locally, as well as at other locations they control, which is false advertising to draw you into their amusement park. AFTER BEING A FAITHFUL CUSTOMER FOR OVER TEN YEARS, I RECOMMEND TTHAT YOU TAKE YOUR MONEY AND BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. read more

These company is great and the employees were most helpful. One of the guys in the yard saved me a lot of time and pointed me in the right direction. They described the color and exact whereabouts. Got lucky and scored 3 VW emblems. Thanks guys! It wasn't so bad. My first time at a scrap yard doing it myself. read more

I needed a dimmer switch for my 1998 Nissan Altima. It was $100 for a brand new Nissan part and $93 for an off brand. I went to B & R on Prarie Road. I had never been to a junk yard before and was more than a little nervous. They were very friendly and explained how it worked. Not intimidating at all. They were well organized and looked the part up on the computer. Then they explained how to find the part in the yard. The yard was well organized and it was easy to find the row I needed. The part was only $15 (or $20 if I wanted them to pull the part for me! What a deal!) They observed social distancing and it was all together a great experience. I will definitely go back and would be happy to refer business to them! read more

Drove 45 minutes to get there, arrived at 4pm and was told they don't allow people in after 4 despite being "open" until 5:30, had to go home. Drove all the way back out today and was told the seats I wanted were in a "private yard" and I was not allowed to look at them. I had to buy them, and if they were trashed I would be charged a 20% restocking fee. Absolute garbage run business, nobody wears masks, and clearly not worth wasting your time. read more

zephyr did an outstanding job, finding my part for my 12-year-old vehicle that the manufacturer said was no longer being made. She was able to search the whole west coast in a matter of minutes and was even able to match my color. She gave me the follow up number in case there was any problems with the shipping. Outstanding service! read more

I would leave NO stars and or negative stars if that were an option...... 3 different times I ordered a clear easy 18x8 wheel.... 3 times I got not only an 18x8.5.... But the 3rd time it came all the way from Las Vegas and was a comepletely different style and finish... To top that off it was still an 8.5 and was totally beat up and curb rashed??!!? They give nothing but excuses and then tell me sorry..... After waiting over a week for the wrong wheel yet again. After numerous phone calls even mass amounts of direction from the salesperson Mitch who also cannot read a rim stamp or tape measure.... 3 different locations Washington, Eugene, and Las Vegas.... NOT only simply cannot read notes.... They can't even find the right wheel. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Their solution to the problem caused by 3 different locations and multiple people at every location who simply can't read nor can the use a tape measure was we can give you a credit on your next order???? Why the HELL would I ever waste my hard earned cash at this establishment ever again?????? Thanks alot people I lost a week plus of work and am still stuck without the right part after being assured this was definitely the right part..... Next step will be canceling payment on the credit card. I will not do buisness with these guys ever again. This is dirty low down buisness practice. B and r should be ashamed. read more

I work for an auto repair shop out in Las Vegas and I use Ember as my rep over at B & R. I always receive the fastest and also most courteous service. Anytime that I have had any issues with warranty on a part (which is going to happen) I reach out to her and everything is handled with the least amount of work needed on my end. That alone is a huge deal considering the amount of volume my shop has. I always recommend her to other shops as well as friends and family! read more

I ordered a part for my 2007 vehicle and was told that it was on the shelf in Portland they told me it was going to be two weeks has been three and I called them and they said that it had been there for a while. I was told when it arrived I would receive a phone call I actually get the people get busy which is why I gave them an additional week. I just got off the phone with them and they said it was about to be restocked.
