I had about 9 quotes from pool builders around the valley ranging up to 165K for my pool pictured. Not only did Unique Pool Finishes come in at the lowest, we were very pleased with the results and quality at the end. We loved working with sales person, Sal. He was knowledgeable and friendly. No high pressure sales tactic and had good, honest vibes. Gave good recommendation to features that I hadn't thought of. We signed the contract on Thursday (3/14). Friday (3/15), Jose the owner came over to the house to go over details of my vision for the pool for himself in person. Saturday (3/16) I received the rough draft of the pool drawing. By Sunday morning (3/17), I got a stamped engineered drawing--that's insane speed! Monday (3/18) Jose submitted the permit to the city. By Friday morning (3/22), we obtained the permit! Whatever Jose submitted must have been meticulous enough that the city had zero pushbacks! I have yet to hear about obtaining any building permits that quickly. The following Monday (3/25) construction of the pool commenced. Jose was on site every day to ensure quality of work by every sub. Sometimes Jose would come a couple times throughout the day when available, or even afterhours. I've never been left uncertain of what was happening and what would be happening the next day. Jose was always in constant communication, often times even after business hours. All of his subs were hard working and showed up in mass quantity of manpower. I had other pool-related contractors, not associated with Jose, come through and said they have never see a pool build with so many hands on deck. In just 27 days, Jose built our dream pool while doing it in high quality workmanship. I definitely recommend building with Unique Pool Finishes. I'll come back again for our future pool builds for sure! We also had the rest of the landscaping done through Unique Pool Finishes like the planting, irrigation, and artificial turf. That portion I can't speak as highly about as the pool build itself. It ended up just okay. There were a few issues with the landscape portion, but the workmanship of the landscape was not as high as I had hoped, given the quality of the pool build, to be 100% honest. I don't think I will use their landscaping services again, but the timing management of the landscaping with the pool build was what worked smoothly under Unique Pool Finishes' general contracting. I am still finding things that I wasn't completely satisfied with concerning the landscaping. But the take away with this is if you're building a pool, do it with Unique Pool Finishes--you will not regret it. I 1000% recommend!
