I'm not sure why the waitress was passive and rude about an order she took wrong and I STILL payed for without a problem. It was good food. The tortilla soup was very good and a little bit out of the ordinary. It was a vegetable chicken soup with big pieces of chicken, stringy cheese (mozzarella I think) and tortilla strips. I had the carnita plate which was very good, portion was huge. This is a small business we visited for the first time. We were greeted with friendly smiles and hellos by two men named Richard and Fernando. We ordered 2 of the largest carne Asada tacos ever the taste was by far the best tacos My husband and I have ever tasted normally I add salt and lime but I sure did not need it at all and pork tamales with reds sauce and lots of cheese unlimited chips and salsa all was home made was amazing exactly enough spice and all fresh ingredients and my soda had the perfect sweet and burn we will definitely be going back and recommend to everyone looking for really good authentic food. read more

My wife likes a spicy mole, and when she asked if it was spicy, the waiter stated "no, it wasnt", as if she was concerned that it was. She asked if they could make it spicy, and he said they could try to spice it up some. I ordered the chili verde. My wife very much enjoyed the "chicken enchilada mole", and though I was initially worried that the verde was going to be heavy on the citrus flavor, it was not! Very good. Really liked it! She was telling us we can't have water we could not have chips and salsa before we ordered our food and we were starving. I had to ask 3 times for a second thing of chips and salsa our part was 6 people across a long table there is no reason she should only give us one serving half our party could not even reach the chips and salsa that is so rude!!!! It costs 50 ¢ for a serving of chips and salsa come on! She didn't offer us refills I had to ask and she told me no then ended up doing it a couple minutes later. She isn't cool or funny or nice at all and does not deserve any service. At all I think her and her husband own the restaurant so she thinks she can treat anyone how ever she wants. Don't go there. Went to try breakfast, as per their sign in the window. The hours sign says they open at 8am, at 8 we found it closed & dark. The front windows are full of messy handwritten signs, one which was downright rude.
