After the storm last night I was concerned about our roof and called a friend of mine who recently had his roof replaced. He recommended AZ Shingle Pros and shared their number with me. I called today around noon and they came out same day by 2:50pm. Mike, who I later learned was the owner, invited me on my roof with him to thoroughly show me around. The man was extremely knowledgeable but what was really cool was he went back to his truck and grabbed some caulking to fix a bunch of little exposed nails etc on my roof. He did all this knowing he probably wasn't going to sell me a roof replacement right away because he ended up telling me our roof was good for at least another 5 years. He even gave me an estimate before he left and explained in detail the product he planned to use and upgrades he recommended. This man loves what he does and loves his customers. Even the customers he won't have right away. Here's where my visit gets even crazier . He loaned me a Milwaukee tool and even offered up his charger to trim off the old nails the old roofer left under me eves. Gave me his home address and phone number and a stack of business cards. Nobody provides this level of service anymore! Dude is seriously old school with real old school customer service and values. We used AZ Shingle Pros last year for a roof repair so when we had a second leak and knew it was time to replace the roof, we reached out to them again while quoting the job. Todd came out for the inspection and showed me pictures of the state of our roof and what products they'd be using. I had a quote in less than 24 hours with detailed line item of what would be completed. Their quote was not the lowest we received, but what sold me was Todd's communication and their coordination with the removal and re-install of our solar panels. Todd was on site to oversee the removal before the roof job started. The team accommodated my request to start the job an hour later than normal for my sleeping kids. JR and his team arrived and quickly started removing the tiles. The job was completed in 2 days and they made sure to walk around and inspect for any nails or pieces left around our yard. Todd came back after the solar was reinstalled, new bird guard installed, and cleaning complete to make sure everything was completed. Back in Oct of 2023 I had originally reached out to a separate roofing company to inspect and provide an estimate for my roof as I knew it was in need of repairs. That original roofing company advised there was major damage that would not be covered by insurance but did not end up providing me a quote on how much repairs would be and did not respond to my follow up requests. I contacted Az Shingle Pros after seeing some great reviews online and I can say I was NOT disappointed! Mike and another worker came out and not only initially provided me a free estimate/quote of what needed repaired but advised that they could help coordinate with my insurance for a full roof replacement- which they did. The most recent, in Sun City, was a storm damage replacement. After I filed the claim with insurance company, Mike took over and handled everything. Had multiple companies come out to give an estimate on underlayment replacement for our tile roof. They all wanted north of $25-30K to do the job. Had Mike with AZ Shingle Pros come out, and he not only told me that we did not need to replace the underlayment that it had many years left on it. Our roof was damaged in the hail storm last month. The owner was looking at our neighbors roof and said he would look at mine for nothing. He saw that I was a disabled vet and did all the work looking at the entire roof and marking he damage. When he was finished he told me I did need a new roof and that when the adjuster came he would be there with him. The adjuster came and Mike walked the entire roof with him. At the end I got an entire new roof. When the crew arrived to do the work, they were all great workers. They took several pictures before, during and after of the roof replacement. Send me the pictures kept me abreast of the progress they were making since I wasn't able to be there at the time.
