Mikku & Sons Roofing came right out after I had a home inspection for a home I am buying. They went up, took pictures and provided us with an estimate to get roof in proper working condition. There were loose tiles and some other areas of needed repair. That visit was a free estimate, which I appreciated. As a small time landlord I prefer working with trades that have a good reputation and are recommended. That's how I found Mikku & Sons. They have provided prompt and complete services when I've called on them for my rental needs. We recently sold our primary residence and there were a few small repairs needed on our tile roof. I have been trying to get this company to do the right thing for over 2 years now. I have filed a BBB complaint. Beware of this company!!! Originally in 2019 they said they would fix the leaks. They said they made multiple "repairs"; however, I still have a leak. And as you can see in the pictures it's terrible. The ceiling is caving in and the damage is even worse. I tried giving them a chance to even fix their mistakes. Don't hire them, they don't do quality work. After their "fixes" and then another rainstorm I called again. This time they said it's not your roof it's your air conditioning lines. I had an HVAC company come out and said this is very common for any roofing company to blame the AC or other people just so they don't have to fix it. Well here we are almost 3 years later and take a look at the photos now. The coat job that they did for $5000 is completely bubbled all over because of the ponding water. Josh came over and said oh the roof warranty doesn't cover this. It's your original foam roof that is causing this and we were only paid to coat your roof and the warranty blah blah. I said no Josh your warranty covers the sealant and I called you repeatedly for years and you keep coming out and blaming something else. If you would've fixed the ponding water 3 years ago we would've never been in this situation. I will file another BBB these people have no ethical integrity. They are scam artists. Trash! Quinn is the guy who answers calls but will never return your cal or pass down any messages to anyone else. All around this is a F company and they should not have a license to work on anyones home. These men worked their fingers to the bone for three days to power-wash, repair, prep and foam seal our our roof. We had a leak develop in our roof at Christmas, I called 4 companies after Christmas, only Mikku & sons called back, they came2 days later, estimated to fix the leak & do the whole roof since I was planning this later in the year. I decided on the whole roof, estimate came within 1 day, roof was scheduled 2 weeks later, amazing. The crews were on time, every day, very professional, the place worked like a well oiled machine. They set up a website to communicate & coordinate. The end product is excellent. Cleaned up, picked up debris, nails, I wish half the companies I hire worked this well. Devin of Mikku & Sons Roofing, came to my home in Glendale, Az yesterday afternoon (6/28/2023) and did an inspection of my roof on my 2 story house. He found about 10 tiles that were cracked, 2 corner tiles that were missing, & one place where there was a large enough gap for rain to do damage. He also found several tiles that were loose & about to fall off the edges. His price: $375, which I felt was fair. He did part of the work yesterday & finished it up this morning. I could have probably done the repairs myself, but I doubt that I would have done as good a job as he did, because roofing is not my line of work, & when it comes to a roof, if you have any leaks, you could end up with costly damages. I found Devin to be sincere & honest, dependable, & concerned. He was up-front about his price and did not try to nickel & dime me out of any more money. I used Mikku and Sons Roofing a couple of years ago when I had to repair and seal my foamed flat roof. They provided a very reasonable price to make the needed repairs and I was very happy with the results. I am now selling the house and it was discovered that due to a broken a/c conduit line, water had pooled on the roof and parts of the foam had bubbled. Do not do business with this company. They are quick to respond when you have your check book ready but won't respond for warranty work. When they finally do respond they will tell you, "I know your roof is only 2 yeard old and you have a 5 year warranty...but we're gonna need another $6K to fix what we should have done right the first time." I was shopping for insurance, Progressive came to my house and said, "we can't insure your house becasue of the roof..." I had my roof replaced in August last year. the storms had caused leaks and I could wait no longer. The fellas doing the job were prompt and courteous. I was given a date of completion that was met, and they did a pretty good job cleaning up after themselves. The bid had a few things that I thought was a bit beyond what the other companies bidding didn't offer, considering their price was very competitive to the others. To my joy, the "upgrades" I was a bit warry about receiving, were all installed and the roof is a pride for me at 6 months now. We had received two other quotes, but because of discrepancies between the diagnosis and estimates, we call Mikku and Sons for a third opinion. I used these guys to redo my roof in Anthem. That was less than 1 year ago. I am selling my house and the inspector found a lot of roof tiles that should have been replaced when the work was done. There is no way that in this short of time, that these many tiles could be chipped. They took short cuts to save money, and now I have pay to have the job done correct.
