Do not recommend! Owner did not diagnose leak properly Work was performed as prescribed and did not fix the leak. Awful customer service. read more

Such a wonderful experience and a pleasant surprise with Almeida roofing! What I assumed to be a leak on my front porch roof was explained by Kevin to be a drywall problem, done by the original builders (house is not even six years old!). In addition to spotting the actual problem, he and Chase ( I believe his name was Chase, who also rounded up my dog that escaped when I went out to meet them out front !) went on my roof to check everything else making sure everything was fine. The ending reply of "no charge" was, as I said above, a pleasant surprise! I couldn't thank him enough and he restored my confidence that there still are honest & good people . Highly recommend. read more

We hired this roofing company for a roof replacement. After work began, we were charged additional fees for tile replacement that were not clearly disclosed or outlined in the contract. We paid under protest to avoid a lien. During the dispute over these charges, we felt pressured to pay additional amounts. We have also filed a complaint with the Arizona ROC regarding the billing practices. Communication around pricing was not transparent, and I would strongly recommend homeowners ensure all potential costs are clearly documented in writing before proceeding. read more

The crew at Almeida did an excellent job replacing the underlayment of our tile roof. The estimator was on-site within 2 days of a request for bid, the fee was reasonable and competitive. The 6-man crew arrived as scheduled and worked hard until the job was completed. Results were like a new roof. Clean-up was spotless. The bird stop really tied the tiles into the fascia and body of the house. Recommend. read more

Fantastic service and fair pricing! I've used this company more than once with the same quality of service every time! They will continue to be my first call for any roofing needs. read more

I just have to say a couple of things about Kevin & his team. I had an issue with a couple of things that were NOT under warranty. We went back & forth a bit, but I'm here to tell everyone that reads this that Kevin sent his best man over to my house & fixed all that I asked of him. Kevin could have told me to POUND SAND, but he didn't, he went over & above. His company will not just come out & try to sell you a new roof like most companies. ALMEIDA has made a believer out of me, so BIG THANKS to Kevin & his great team..... read more

Highly recommend Almeida Roofing. Very professional and honest. We had Almeida come out for missing tiles and to do a roof inspection. They replaced the missing tiles and others that were cracked. Very nice to be told our roof was in good shape otherwise. read more

I Have been using Almeida roofing for many years and always experienced expert customer service and work at a very reasonable price. Kevin, Melissa and the rest of their staff excel at what they do. Will continue to use and recommend to everyone. Thanks guys! read more

Needed some cracked/broken tiles replaced on my roof and had Almeida come out and do the job. Contacted them through Yelp and the were very prompt at getting back to me and getting an appointment to have someone come out to give me an estimate. Communication back and forth was awesome! I commend them for that! As far as the work and price, they were reasonable I guess (I don't have anything to judge it against, honestly)? I did get a discount for paying in cash, which I appreciated. I have a house built in 2004/2005 and the roof tiles I do have, aren't easily accessible anymore. They had to mix and match a couple tiles in order to complete the job, but its hardly noticeable unless you know exactly what/where you are looking at. The installer Joe was super friendly and got the job done, fast. I would use them again for sure, but hopefully won't have any roof issues in order to call them back out, lol. The price I paid was worth the peace of mind knowing that my roof is still in decent shape and wont need any major repairs any time soon. For that alone, I would recommend and use them again! read more

The underlayment of our tile roof was toast and needed to be replaced. I went with Yelp reviews and picked Almeida Roofing. These guys are professional. Material deliveries were delivered on time and ditto for the work crew. The job took 3 days, 2800 sq ft. The crew picked up after themselves and made sure our dog wouldn't get into something she shouldn't. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Almeida Roofing. read more

Almeida Roofing - Looking from the backyard - Roofing Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I highly recommend Almeida Roofing. They are professional. They get the job done. Their customer service is excellent. I got estimates that were less and more than what they did my re-roof for. I now have a better roof than what was originally on my home. The crew got my roof completed in 2.5 days, cleaned up and did a great job. If you want a quality roof job for your home, Almeida is the company you want to partner with. Couldn't be more happy with the job they did! read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE!, from communication with the owners to the workers assigned to the job. The job took weeks, instead of days. At several times 1 worker would be working. He had an "assistant" (his wife or girlfriend) who did nothing but stand next to him and talk! NOTE: Safety was not a concern, as debris was left on roof overnight. If blown off the roof it could've hurt someone. We are waiting on having solar panels installed. The solar panel inspector noticed broken tiles on our roof. Our roof is only 5 months old, and having only relatively mild weather, there should not be any damage to the tiles. No one, other than other companies Inspectors, had been on the roof. On notifying the owner, Kevin, about the tiles, he stated this repair was not covered by their warranty! He agreed to fix it, as if he was going above and beyond in pleasing a customer. I truly wonder what is covered under their warranty? Yesterday a supervisor from the company came out to inspect and fix the damaged tiles. He spent a lot of time arguing with my wife, stating "somebody has obviously been up here"! We live in a 2- story house. Nobody in my family would have the desire, or need to get up on the roof! One good thing came out of this, due to their disregard for the customer. Their workers backed their truck into our driveway and, without telling us, rammed into our garage door. The company had to replace our garage doors with beautiful, new doors! Definitely would NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Almieda Roofingis the best!! They were professional with every step of our roof repair! Job well done and reasonable With pricing!! We would certainly recommend them to our friends & neighbors. read more

Can I give this company zero stars? We had a slight roof leak over our dining room, it was time to redo the roof on our 25-year old house. Literally the evening they claimed to be finished, it rained and or little drip was now an absolute deluge; I have videos of this, water pouring through the ceiling into our dining room, like it was coming out of a hose! We still owed a 50% balance, but withheld payment until they would come back and repair it (never pay the balance for a contractor until the work is satisfactorily completed). Instead they filed a lien on our house; and we had to get separate contractors to inspect and recommend a proper repair. Almeida was just going to put a little more foam on the area. We also made a complaint to the ROC, after that Almeida eventually did fix it. read more

We called Almeida Roofing in June 2022 when looking to replace our roof. From start to finish the whole process was great. Kevin was out to take measurements and provide a quote promptly. They were very reasonably priced compared to our other quotes. Almeida Roofing started and finished when they said they would and took great lengths to clean up after when done. I did have a few questions along the process and every call or email was promptly addressed. Over a year later and after a stormy monsoon season last year, we are still in great shape. I would highly recommend Almeida Roofing and have recommended to my neighbors. read more

I had a great experience with Almeida. We had a few leaks after the big winter storms and called to ask them to take a look. They were responsive and worked with me via email (my preference) to find a good time. On the day of the visit, they showed up right at the start of their window and quickly assessed the damage and necessary repairs to my roof. It only took a few days to get a crew scheduled to do the repairs. They showed up early and put in a full 12 hour day the first day, needing only a few hours on day 2 to finish and clean up. They left the yard spotless, which was impressive considering the pile of debris, and the office was responsive to get the final invoice closed out. A great expwri3nce all around. read more

You should be aware that this company will charge you a 15% late fee 10 days after the work is done, unless you write to them in advance that you're going to be giving the invoice to someone else (like a solar installer or an insurance company) to pay. It's very important that you give them this information in writing, and also be aware that they will not warn you that you're about to incur a hefty late fee. They did a perfectly fine job on our roof, as far as I can tell. read more

Excellent service - quote was reasonable, the showed up in time and did a great job. I have used them twice and will again!

I need to update my review. After I posted my initial 3 star review, the company contacted me literally within an hour. I explained my concerns and issues. They got right on my problems. Next day, sent someone out to review the property and that evening had a group of people cleaning up the remains. They could have left things the way they were but they took care of me! There's a reason why they are mentioned the most for roofing needs on Nextdoor. I will definitely recommend them for anyone needing roof repairs. Thank you for your prompt response to my issues. read more

$5k more expensive than 3 other roofing quotes using the same material and warranty. Not sure why this company is so much higher? read more

10/10 would recommend - great experience, work was done on time and crew cleaned up well. They price matched and offered better materials and benefits such as a 10 year transferable workmanship warranty on top of the standard 10 year manufacturing warranty which proved the quality of work and willingness to fix any issues that arise. It actually rained pretty heavily for a few days after the service was completed and no seen issues. 10/10 would recommend read more

I'm doing a remodel on a property and needed a roofer ASAP. Not being from the area, I jumped on YELP and found Almeida. I got a quick response via the yelp messenger and arranged for them to come out and give an estimate. They showed up on time and although I wasn't there, my contractor met with him and said their employee was dressed appropriately and very professional. I received a very competitive quote that was professionally done. They were a little high and I ultimately went with a different company who was equally professional. I do have a fair amount of experience with construction companies and these guys did all the right things and If I had a future job, I would definitely call them again. read more

Having used Almeida in the past, we recently hired them to replace the underlayment on the roof of our current home. As with the previous job, we have no issue with the quality of their work-everything looks great and their price was good! But this most recent time there were a couple issues with communication and getting a work crew to our home. But once the 'permanent' crew got here, the work proceeded smoothly and our yard was picked up at the end of every day. We're very happy with the results. read more

Asked for a quote. Joe came about, on time, and was very professional. Quote was competitive. Once we decided to go with Almeida Roofing, they kept us informed at every step and, finished the job on time and as quoted!! We are very happy with the new roof!! Almedia roofing is top notch! The workers were very professional and had respect for my property as they worked. When the job was done they cleaned up their work area. No nails to be found! I highly recommend Almeida Roofing. We chose foam and were happy with the outcome. All our future work will only be done by this amazing company. The girls in the office were also professional through scheduling us for a quote and for work to be done!. read more

It is Christmas Eve and I'm trying to reach this company for my SECOND roof leak since having them replace my roof 1 year ago. We had a small leak in one area of our roof. Almeida roofing was extremely quick to respond to our request for a quote via the Yelp app. We had several companies come out and they were fair and from the interaction I had with the rep, they seemed the most reliable and fair. Based off the good reviews on this site we hired them. The work was done quickly and they cleaned up so that I did t even know they were there. read more

They say they dont use pressure. Then say prices are rising fast so better put your money down quickly. And if you dont they may go out of business so cant honor the warranty. That is in quote. They say there are materials problems that will affect your actual price. You have just short time to act or whatever you have been told is meaningless as you will see in their quote. Price was 6,000 more than I paid with same or better quality. Ask for quote in writing then take a look. I think they can roof your house but at what cost really? No pressure of course. read more

These guys were fast, efficient and clean! My neighbor was using them and I noted how advanced their work flow was so I took a pic of their sign and sure enough needed a roof in a few years. My typical roofer was much higher in price. The office was spot on with immediate follow up. Highly recommended. John read more

Excellent job. Affordable and reasonable. Completed roof replacement quickly and professionally. Quick response to questions and concerns. Payment process was quick and simple. Best roofing company in the valley. Thank you again. read more

I scheduled an estimate for what I thought were a couple roof leaks. Kevin and Melissa promptly responded, were on time as scheduled, friendly and professional in every manner. After a thorough inspection, Kevin stated that he couldn't find any source of the leaks attributed to the condition of the roof, but offered guidance on where he thought the leaks were originating from (cracks in stucco and beams surrounding windows). He went so far to suggest how I could seal them up. It's so nice to find honest contractors that have a customer's best interest at heart. I will definitely be using Almeida Roofing for upcoming maintenance work on our house when the time calls for it. read more

If I could leave this company 0 reviews I would. I have had 3 companies come out and give me price quotes on repairs. They actually were not the most expensive but not the cheapest. The reason I decided to go with Almeida roofing is because of what was originally displayed as great customer service, and I loved the fact they provided photos. On July 15, I went ahead and chose Almeida Roofing, the front desk was very helpful at getting the job scheduled for today, July 31st. Since I didn't get to chose the date, it was assigned I asked for it to be completed before I left for work at 11:15 am. I received an email back stating it was scheduled between 6 am to 8 am. It because 7:45 am and I still had not heard from anyone in regards to my appointment. I sent an email, asking if my appointment was still scheduled since I received zero communication. I received a phone call from Joe, who stated I was originally schedule first thing in the morning, but he decided to pick up materials first thing in the morning, and would get the job done around noon. I explained I would be at work, and had expressed on the 15th, I needed it done before that time. He said he would be on his way within the hour, and seemed frustrated. That hour passed, and I received an email from the company asking if Joe had contacted me. I decided to give a call, and the very nice lady at the front desk listened to my concern and she told me to hold on she wanted me to talk to the owner! I was surprised, she put me through to Kevin. As I was explaining to him the situation, he kept interjecting. He would not listen, he kept having a rebuttal for each thing I expressed. He then became irate and started yelling at me, and disconnected the phone after I asked him why he was yelling at me, a customer. He got frustrated that I asked him to listen to what I was frustrated about, and have some empathy, yet he didn't and couldn't. I wasn't asking for any discount. I wasn't asking for anything, just for him to listen to my frustrations as a customer upset about the lack of communication his company has given to me. As I told the receptionist, I felt Joe was frustrated and maybe it would be best to reschedule and have someone else do the tile repairs. I understand things can change, times are stressful. All I was asking for was better communication, and if it would have been better to get the repair done a different day, I would have rescheduled. It's unfortunate I waited 15 days for the repair, and it didn't happen. Edit: I wish yelp would allow you to respond to the owner's response. The owner Kevin DID NOT OFFER to have anyone else come out. What he is stating did not happen. He became irate and disconnected the line. read more
