It was the first haunted house area I went to this season. I was most impressed by the passion of the hired actors. They really got into character and the costumes were great too. There were 2 haunted house options open the night I went. The overall grounds for a bit rough after the recent heavy rains. The place overall had a backwoods, abandoned construction site vibe to it. Going through two of the three haunted houses took less than an hour including waiting in line. The design of the haunted houses was good. A few jumpscares and definitely creepy characters. However, there wasn't much to do at the event grounds activity-wise after going to the haunted houses.

For an already expensive trip, forcing customers to for up another $20 for "their" socks is ridiculous and so greedy. They have lights on the stairs that clearly show the stairs when walking up. However several places you often walk down a few stairs. I slipped off a few and nearly fell pretty bad a few times. The waivers don't share between locations. So if you go to a different one, or selected the wrong one online, you will be taking the time to fill one out again for each member of your family.

We enjoyed the train ride during the day and even came back for the nighttime experience--it was so much fun! She especially loved the carousel and went on it a couple of times. We also walked around the park area and just enjoyed spending the day together. Everything was so well done, and it was such a fun experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you're looking for something fun to do with the kids. We made some great memories and will definitely be back! The weather was perfect but it would be a lot to eat in the car during the hot summer. I feel like there was a lot of variety of things to do for the age difference of my kids. My main issue was with the flooring of the entire park. I'd like to see them do something to make the sidewalk more comfortable for the 99% of people who are walking around barefoot. All of our feet hurt from walking around on the really hard concrete. I guess I'd recommend you wear water shoes if you have them. We used a Get Out Pass and the whole process was seamless. It's worth getting because just a trip to Sunsplash is pretty much the same price as a Get Out Pass and you get so much out of it. I don't know if I'd go again because the cost is pretty high.

Every time I turned around they were chatting with their friends or screwing around instead of doing literally anything of value. I can't believe your business is turning a profit. We've been able to go ice skating, cool down at Sunsplash, play mini golf at Golfland, and visit various indoor play areas such as KTR and FunBox. We even get some emails offering additional free admission days to certain Pogo Pass parks as an extra bonus. I've felt like it has been worth it to invest in the pass.

Over the years, the Phoenix Zoo has been a special place to go with friends, family, dates, and…read moreeven on my own. I even remember a time when my work brought our entire team for an afternoon of team-building and lunch at the zoo (with the animals, of course) and other times when my wife and I got a behind-the-scenes tour with friends. I have also been there for charity events and special zoo events. While the food at the zoo is fine, the animals are great, and the zoo staff are amazing. This is a great zoo, and I am proud to have been a member off and on over the years. While I am not a member now, I anticipate I will be again sooner than later. The zoo is divided into sections. For the most steps and the longest journey, definitely check out the Desert Discovery Train (and even see the special exhibit Dinosaurs of the Desert). You will even walk near Governor Hunt's Tomb in Papago Park. This section connects to the Africa Trail. This is where I recall feeding giraffes and seeing monkeys and baboons. As you head to the Forest of Uco, you will pass Monkey Village and can take a camel ride. The Forest of Uco is next to the Tropics Trail with the tigers, rhinos, and elephants. Nearby is the Harmony House and the Children's Trail with a petting zoo. And if you go back near the entrance, there is the Arizona Trail. There is just so much to see and one visit won't do you justice! While daily activities include animal encounters, a safari cruiser, a carousel, Scooterpals, tours, scavenger hunts, 4D movies, and play areas, there are also zoo events like Roars & Pours, Spooky Safari, the Zoo and Move 5K, and of course Zoo Lights, which include a Cruise Zoo Lights and a Sensory Friendly Zoo Lights. Some of these events are at night when only a few animals are out, but there are always some animal encounters. Some involve alcohol or food, and others involve creative fundraisers with silent auctions and raffle drawings. They also have tickets for Legoland, Seaworld, and other stuff. Plus some discounts for local activities.
