We enjoyed the rides, the 4D movie, all the opportunities to build, and especially the mini model of Phoenix. I was also very impressed by how clean and well-spaced everything felt despite it being a very hands-on place. The reason it did not get 5 stars for me was the amount of employees and subsequently the wait times. Not counting those in training, the first ride had 2 employees, the second had 1, and the mosaic room had 1. Each ride also had one person in training, which will be very beneficial for them. Having more employees available overall would have been great. For example, in the Merlin ride which has flying vehicles that can go up and down, there was one employee that seemed experienced and the trainee. There were 6 vehicles that could fit up 2 at a time. We witnessed the ride cycle through twice before our turn and we timed that it took us 30 minutes before we rode. The ride itself was maybe 2-3 minutes in its entirety. It took that long for the employees to load everyone on, check seatbelts, run the ride, and then unlock and release the people that just finished. Here is what I would change: have a designated employee at the entrance that counts off whoever is going on the next ride and prep them while the prior ride is going. That means take the measurements, ask who is riding (adult w/child, etc.), and explain the rules. Once the prior ride finishes, both the employee from the entrance and an employee from the exit enter the ride area to unlock the passengers, one for the outside guests and one for the inside. Then let the new passengers enter and repeat the seatbelt check cycle. Resume positions and start again. If I was to go again the first thing I would correct was to wait on going on the second ride. Get there early and knock the rides out first to save you time. I sincerely hope they find a way to operate faster because this place is super cool and without the long wait time, I would be way more likely to return. It is a great way to spend a day indoors during the AZ summer!

This discovery center was full of displayed legos with AZ's and the valley landmarks to begin your journey. The play area is great for the little ones. They can go on the slides, a mini interactive journey in a "it's a small world" type of moving ride , build legos, and so much more. I don't get the bad reviews. The place was clean and you can even take advantage of a small cafeteria and clean restrooms inside.

The weather was perfect but it would be a lot to eat in the car during the hot summer. I feel like there was a lot of variety of things to do for the age difference of my kids. My main issue was with the flooring of the entire park. I'd like to see them do something to make the sidewalk more comfortable for the 99% of people who are walking around barefoot. All of our feet hurt from walking around on the really hard concrete. I guess I'd recommend you wear water shoes if you have them. We used a Get Out Pass and the whole process was seamless. It's worth getting because just a trip to Sunsplash is pretty much the same price as a Get Out Pass and you get so much out of it. I don't know if I'd go again because the cost is pretty high.

All of your card scanning machines are broken. I asked your clerk for service on a machine that needed to be refilled and she told me it would be "about half an hour" you still owe me a refund for those game plays. My son won a lava lamp from redemption and the girl climbed to the shelf and started to take down a lit, hot one until someone else had to tell her to get a new one out instead after she was obviously burning herself. Every time I turned around they were chatting with their friends or screwing around instead of doing literally anything of value. I can't believe your business is turning a profit. What is your training program? Two rocks and a wish for good luck?

Once you walk in, it takes you back in time and it feels like you're walking into a Blockbuster. Very nostalgic! I love that they see how you communicate with each other prior to going into the room. I won't tell you how exactly because that'll ruin the experience. We did one room, Escape Plan, and we were told it was the easier one of the three. We escaped in about 29 minutes! We do quite a bit of escape rooms together so we will be going back for the other two rooms. You definitely use your head but it's not too easy and not too hard either. We didn't ask for any hints. What made the experience 5/5 was when we finished, we had a very long conversation with the employee who turned out to be one of the owners, Walter. He is very passionate and explained how they came up with these ideas. You could see how genuine he was and his passion for his business. It was refreshing to hear his ideas for his store and the future plans. We truly can't wait to go back and do the other rooms. You should seriously come here and plan a fun night out with friends and family!!

My wife and I were there for the Ostrich Festival which had recently moved from Tumbleweed Park to Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass. A very different footprint from the park, but the behind-the-scenes folks responsible for the festival did a fantastic job in the new location. Known for its concerts, the festival did not disappoint. Kansas, Vanilla Ice, Baby Bash, and The Commodores, among others. Smaller national bands and some local artists graced a smaller stage as well. Top notch entertainment was everywhere this year. Megan the Bubbleologist amazed with her bubbles, Mango and Dango added excitement with their music and dancing, the Cup Guy dazzled with his juggling skills, Off-Axis Stunt Shows were fantastic in three separate shows - BMX, trampoline, and diving. There was a magic show with Sean and Chanelle and their Model T car, live ostriches, a daily evening parade, STEM games, birds, and so much more to see. Already looking forward to next year's Ostrich Festival, held at Rawhide.

Rawhide hosts various events, including bull riding and concerts. For the Fever event, parking was free. For Ostrich Festival, pre-paid parking was $13 or $15 at the gate. You really have no other choice but to park in their lot given that it's basically out there on it's own in Chandler. It's about a 30-minute walk from Gila Casino. Rawhide is a "Western Town." While there isn't any historical context, Rawhide is made to look like an old Western town, dusty roads and saloon-style buildings included. The aesthetic is pretty cool. And it's spacious too. The logistics with the parking situation and getting your shoes dusty, not so much. Depending on the event, there might be vendors selling food, drinks, and more. While the vibe is cool, as the self-appointed king of events in Phoenix, I put this venue close to the end of the pecking order overall.

Really glad we did as we spent the better part of the day with no kids/grandkids (hope to bring them one day) enjoying the park. The locals are really lucky to have such a gem near-by to enjoy. So many things to enjoy from a train ride ($3) per ride or you can buy a day pass for $12 which includes the Carousel (pretty sure). There is a shaded playground and splash area (free) with picnic tables located throughout the park. We saw several parties going on at different covered areas (assume u can rent), and there is the Family Circus pavilion with tables near the snack bar Snack Bars (2) - one building and one in a Caboose near playground. The prices are really reasonable and a nice menu (chicken tenders, corn dogs). The ice-cream sucked us in with "Superman" which takes me back to childhood in the mid-west. Prices were great and the Staff even greater as they were super friendly (could be a name of a new ice-cream flavor). Tables located inside if needed to beat the heat. There is a gift shop with unique items to the park(t-shirts. stickers, stuff animals, puzzles etc.) a museum with the history of the park & the Family behind it. We spent the best part of the morning walking around the park, riding the train and exploring the miniature train building which in itself is amazing and beats some that we paid to visit. They have all the sizes on displays that I am sure a lot of spouses are happy that they are there and not in the basement or family room. These dioramas are intricate and beautifully done for each gauge of train with historic scenes to cool pop-culture ones. You could walk around a dozen times & probably see something you missed each time. They definitely spend a lot of time, money & energy to keep it up. Restrooms located throughout the park, easy free parking and a lot to see & do, if you have kids or grandkids or just a big kid yourself.

The main staples are still there - rock climbing wall, dodgeball court, jousting, basketball, gymnastic bounce/pit, and main trampoline area. The kid/toddler play area is pretty massive in itself - about as big as other places' main areas. But they'll they have a massive four level main climbing area. Truly massive. They also added an obstacle course that is pretty big and nice. The party rooms look very nice as well (previously you'd just have a table on the side). Now for $25 a pizza I'm expecting a decent sized pizza and with quality toppings etc. unfortunately our pizzas came out burnt and were very small for$25.. the staff also gave us grief about ordering another pizza because " we already had two why do we need another" words from staff. Unfortunately this really bummed me out considering we are here for my sons birthday!! I let this go in the moment because the place was staffed with just teenagers and all of them had attitudes so I wasn't going to complain to them when I doubt I would have gotten any real help. This location itself doesn't have that many attractions like the website shows the other locations having more options like slides etc. the foam in the pits were old looking and lots were torn into making it seem a bit more dirtier.. some of the courses had broken parts that didn't work exactly how it should have. Over all for my sons birthday party being held here in still super disappointed in the treatment from staff and the lack of care for the equipment there. I don't think we would recommend this place ..
