When I tried to clarify that the email said arrival 10 minutes early was a recommendation (not a requirement), the conversation stayed argumentative rather than de-escalated. As a GM, that was disappointing to experience. We were on a time crunch and asked if we could join a later session instead, and if not, we preferred a refund. We were only offered a voucher. I also requested a simple statement confirming our check-in time (2:58 PM), and he refused to provide anything in writing. Overall, this was a frustrating experience and the customer service was poor. I'd strongly recommend leadership/customer service training and clearer policies communicated to customers.
