Put dollars in multiple claw machines and none of them worked or moved at all. But they kept the money we inserted.

I had my birthday party here (adult) and I have to say it may have have been the best birthday…read moreparty I've ever had. FatCats Mesa is huge with plenty of parking. There are multiple movie theaters, a lot of bowling lanes, a grill, concession stand, a glow in the dark mini golf course, and an arcade. I worked with the event coordinator Emily beforehand and it was such a pleasant experience. I was not stressed at all, they did everything to my preferences and all I had to do was bring the cake. They frequently checked in on my preferences beforehand and even asked how I wanted the room decorated, which they handled themselves. There are several different food options to choose from for parties but we went with pizza which was pretty good. Everything was very reasonably priced, including the alcoholic beverages, which were fun and delicious. The arcade games were all working and well maintained. They had a decent variety and definitely had all the classic games I like to play. The prize counter was also nice and I enjoyed the glow golf course. My younger nephews came to the party and enjoyed so this is definitely a fun venue for all ages. Above anything else, every single staff member made the experience so pleasant from the event coordinator (who personally was present to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted it) to the party host (who checked in on us regularly) to the bartender to the person at the prize counter. I felt like everyone truly wanted me to have a happy birthday and a great event. I would happily come here to hang out or have another event. It was so fun, the planning was not stressful at all and it was reasonably priced! Absolutely recommend.

I live close by, so thank my lucky stars! I wouldn't mind setting up shop in the gaming area and…read moreliving out the rest of my days only sleeping, eating, and gaming. The place is totally air conditioned, no windows, has flat screen tv's and consoles, comfy chairs, what more could you ask for? However, since I have a life (is a life without gaming, really a life I want to live??), I can only make it in here sporadically. Don't even get me started on the customer service, which is hands down, the friendliest customer service I have ever experienced this side of the desert, including Las Vegas. Here we were, chatting up the shop clerk, when lo and behold I find me a copy of Vampire Hunter D. Now I know the game is kinda crappy, but I had to have it for my collection of rarities. Cheaper prices than on Amazon too. So far, this is the only store I know of that stays open so late for all of your gamez (yes, I said GAMEZ) needs.

I usually don't ever make reviews but this has made me so mad at the service here. I was with my…read morefriends and I had to use the restroom and I asked the cashier and he was on his phone and told me there was no bathrooms. I then asked him where the nearest bathroom was and he looked at me and just shrugged at me. Well come to find out my friend also needed to go and he went to the back and saw the public bathroom. Really pissed off how this was handled and I had to walk 2 blocks to find a shop when all along there was a bathroom right there.

OK, so you drive by this place all the time. It looks like some shady hole in the wall next to a…read morewater store. Whatever, probably some cheesy putt-put golf right? We came and the girl at the front was so nice. Talked about how the paintings were inspired by the owners kid. Whatever, what a weird comment, right? Then they give you 3D glasses, and let me tell you YOU REALLY WANT THOSE GLASSES. Of course, the first hole my 6yo starts a royal tantrum. Once again, the girl at the desk gives both my kids glow bracelets. It doesn't calm my daughter down, but it helps. My kids are fussy the whole time, but I was having a ball. The paintings and colorings on everything with the glasses literally make you feel like you are hallucinating. In some cases I felt like I was hovering or something and didn't know where to put my feet at. Absolute riot. Course was decent. Not overtly hard - good for my 6yo and 8yo. There was one hole about 2/3 of the way through that was basically impossible. Got a military discount too. After we finished the girl at the counter asked if we wanted some free tokens for the arcade. I don't know if that is standard or she just felt bad for me and having my kids go nuclear multiple times while there. In either case, a super nice gesture but I had to decline because I just needed to get them outta there.
