This escape room establishment was truly quite unique and very fun!! We had friends in town and wanted to plan something for the night. Once you walk in, it takes you back in time and it feels like you're walking into a Blockbuster. Very nostalgic! I love that they see how you communicate with each other prior to going into the room. I won't tell you how exactly because that'll ruin the experience. We did one room, Escape Plan, and we were told it was the easier one of the three. We escaped in about 29 minutes! We do quite a bit of escape rooms together so we will be going back for the other two rooms. You definitely use your head but it's not too easy and not too hard either. We didn't ask for any hints. What made the experience 5/5 was when we finished, we had a very long conversation with the employee who turned out to be one of the owners, Walter. He is very passionate and explained how they came up with these ideas. You could see how genuine he was and his passion for his business. It was refreshing to hear his ideas for his store and the future plans. We truly can't wait to go back and do the other rooms. Our party managed to hit some All-time records in all 3 rooms! We're all enthusiasts with 100+ rooms under our belt now. It's a pretty fun little concept of going into a movie to explore it. The FOH is reminiscent of a blockbuster. Overall I would say that the games are relatively easier and use most use gen 1 locks. But, mostly a fun time! Definitely recommend for both enthusiasts and first time beginners. read more

Amazing staff! Great vibe really fun rooms. They also give you a discount for booking multiple rooms. We did the Jail and Zombies and they were both great. Zombies was a little scary with jump scares but they can tame it for you if you ask. 10/10 recommend. Hoping they expand and build more rooms. read more

I truly think paranoia quest is one of the best escape rooms out there. I have yet to find a better one in Arizona. I have completed each of the escape room trials and they are all pretty immersive and problem-solving feels somewhat linear in fashion compared to other places that are quite confusing. I think one of my favorite trials are the Indiana Jones looking one and the apocalypse one. My least favorite was the prison, but only because it wasn't as whimsical as the others. Definitely give this place a try. read more

My 11-year-old son wanted to do an escape room for his birthday. This one was the highest rated within proximity to our home, so I booked a slot for eight kids on a Saturday night. The kids had the most amazing time and couldn't wait to come back and try the other rooms they have. We did the zombie themed one and it scared the crap out of them, but in the best way. The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was challenging yet. Everyone was able to contribute to the teamwork at some point. I will definitely tell my friends about this place. read more

I did the recon final hour escape room with a group of 6 and we escaped with 14 minutes to spare! We did use a few clues to help but the escape room was so well done and the jump scares really got us and added to the theme. The check in process was smooth and the lobby is modeled after a video store. We watched a video going over some rules and then were taken to the room. It was really fun and I would be interested in trying the other 2 rooms they have. read more

What a fun escape room facility! We've been to many through the years and this was super rad! One, it's setup like an old Blockbuster video store and you are immersed in a movie/escape. Diamond Quest is amazing--super fun--and one of the top 3 escape rooms in Phoenix. I have done over 200 escape rooms around the world, and this room rates in the top 10%. It really immerses you! Our entire group loved it. The prison room was decent, but not memorable...kinda middle of the road as far as escape rooms. However, due to the Diamond Quest room being so insanely good, it is impossible to give Paranoia Quest anything other than 5 star. read more

The storefront where you check in is modeled after a blockbuster store and is down so well all the details put into this are great and I could spend more time just browsing all the fun movie titles. Once our group was checked in, we received our instructions and were escorted to our themed room. The room design, effects and puzzles were challenging but fun and the storytelling and layout were awesome. HIGHLY recommend you try this place out. It is high on my list for places My group did the the diamond quest room. You need to be ok with darkness or at least someone is cool with it. I first want to say, we really really enjoy this place! We have done 2 rooms (Diamond Quest and Lights Out) and both times were great puzzles with surprises! I used to work at an escape room and can tell that the employees do a great job and the rooms are very clever. This is a great group activity and allows everyone to have a piece of the puzzle (especially Lights Out). The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars were the fact the the first time you go, you have to run around organizing the "video store" which seems like a time waster. Cool concept, but doesn't have anything to do with the escape room. (Note: the second time we went, we had a competition to find specific movies and that was much more fun). The second reason is that one of the rooms we made it out in about half the time, which is cool to get on the leaderboard, but with the cost per person, I would like to spend more time actually playing the game. Pretty pricey for a 30 minute activity. I'm sure we will be back to play the last room which I've heard is the most difficult. excited to see the expansion as well. read more

I can't say enough good things about the experience and the staff here. My family of four went there for my oldest son's birthday. My youngest child suffers from auditory anxieties. The staff were super accommodating and even warned us before anything triggering was going about to happen. They came in and escorted him to a quiet room until it was time for him to rejoin the adventure. The experience itself was very well designed and elaborate sets. As someone who has done multiple escape rooms at multiple locations this location was by far the best!! The staff was so polite and patient with us as we asked questions and chatted about other escape rooms we did. We initially booked 1 room and we enjoyed the room, puzzles, and staff so much that when we finished we booked another room for the same day!! In our first game Bamboo was our game master and he was fantastic. As someone who scares easily he explained that there weren't any jump scares or anything that would jump out at me. For our second game Walter was our game master and he took extra time at the end to answer questions we had and talk through the room with us and about the facility as a whole. Overall I would DEFINITELY go to Paranoia Quest Escape Rooms again. I loved the rooms, the people, and the overall vibe of the place. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity. read more
