Our group flew to Arizona to speed run 10+ escape rooms and this was on our list. Such a fun time, the puzzles were fun and interesting, 0 gen 1 locks and the environment *chef's kiss*, immaculate. I would highly recommend NOT wearing open-toed shoes as you will be stepping through sand. I do wish we could've been here when their 2nd and 3rd room open though. The absolute best escape room that I've ever done! It was so immersive with the most satisfying puzzles. The props and set were top notch and the technology was advanced but elegant. It wasn't scary but we did get scared at some of the door drops but it made it exciting. I would recommend this to any one and everyone especially to hardcore escape room fans. 11/10 read more

The clues and puzzles were creative, well planned out, & challenging (but doable). The quality of the props, decor, sounds, etc. created a fully immersive experience. Nothing like starting with an amazing escape room for my first one...and we were some of their first customers. 4 of us...3 newbies and 1 that had been a couple of times were paired up with 2 hardcore escape room enthusiasts. They 2 had been to over 500 escape rooms! So, we arrive and we're really impressed with the entry area...very cool and you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought and care into the experience from initial entry. Then, we entered into the room...a mummy experience. Really incredible theme, decor, etc. We were overwhelmed and then got going...step by step, trying to figure out what the heck to do! The pieces began falling into place as we started using parts of our brain that haven't been explored in a while (or maybe ever!). As we got further and further along, additional rooms opened, lights indicated progress, a looming voice announced achievements, and we solved it with minutes to spare! It was challenging and a blast. At the end, I asked the veterans how this one stacked up to others and they informed us that this is the best in the Phoenix area. Nothing like starting at the top! We can only look forward to future rooms that these guys develop. Really excited to revisiting this place. So...looking for a great time? This was the spot. I highly recommend it! We went this past weekend to do the Pharaohs escape room at paragon. The puzzles were well thought out, the theming was amazing (sand on the floor, multiple rooms, and incredible props). We finished the room with 12 minutes to spare and were soo close to not needing any hints. The game master did a great job letting us still figure most of it out on our own even when calling out for help. We went for a birthday and the company was so accommodating, saying happy birthday to their person and giving us drinks after we escaped:) We were able to sneak a little peak at the ones currently under construction and cannot wait to try those out when they are complete. We did my 29th birthday at Paragon escape room with about 9 people. I wanted something that was different other than sitting down for dinner and really brought everyone together and boy did I get that. The detail and story line were great, the helpful tips from RA were appropriate and we did escape the room with 1 1/2 minutes to spare. The owner also gave us a sneak peak of the two other rooms. I think this is perfect for your kids in summer, team building, not so average date night. Check them out! I also love that this is east valley and was a comprable commute for my Gilbert and Queen Creek friends. So excited to see you grow and do other puzzles at Paragon. Only recommendation for an even better experience is maybe offer photos in the room while playing the game, obviously with consent! read more

We played Return of Pharaoh to celebrate our daughter's birthday and it was such a fun ambience and game. Julian was extremely funny and really helpful. The game is not too easy and has lot of puzzles to crack in 60 minutes. The room adapts according to how the players progress so that everyone ends up solving the puzzle in the end. If you love escape rooms, Return of the Pharaohs at Paragon is a MUST DO in the Phoenix area. We've done dozens of escape rooms at this point and this is definitely one of the best. It is a completely Gen 3 room; the set, clues and storyline are so immersive. You won't find one lock! The clues are non-linear (as they explain to you before the room) and the perfect mix of challenging and exciting. We went with a group of 4 and I would say that was a pretty good number of people- maybe another 1 or 2 people could have helped us escape (we were ONE step away!). My one tip for this room is to wear closed toed shoes. I don't want to give anything away (it's nothing scary or physically demanding); it's just better if you have them. Lastly, I just have to say how awesome the Gamemasters/owners are. They promptly replied to an email question I had the day before, they took all the COVID precautions, and they sat around and talked with us a bit after. It's very obvious that they care about bringing the best experience possible and love escape rooms just as much as us. Although the room is already awesome, they are constantly making changes to improve it even more. Thanks for a great experience; we are looking forward to your next room! read more
