Went to Clue Master Escape Rooms for a friend's birthday and overall it was a really fun experience. I've done a few escape rooms before, and this one was definitely a little different. There were some twists and a few oddball moments that threw us off, but that's part of what made it interesting. You get a full backstory and mission at the beginning, which really pulls you into the experience. It's very interactive and requires a lot of teamwork, communication, and coordination. You have an hour to escape and we made it out just in time, literally down to the last seconds. This is a great option for groups, birthdays, or even team building. It's high energy and perfect if you enjoy problem solving and a little challenge. Have I been to more advanced or smoother escape rooms? Yes. But this was still a good experience and definitely worth trying, especially if you're going with a fun group. I'd go back and try a different room. read more

Hubs and I love escape rooms and have done our fair share of 30+ escape rooms in the Bay Area and in Arizona. Unfortunately, the Witching Hour was a disappointment. We opted for the advanced version and the puzzles were honestly ok. We had several situations where we didn't understand what was going on because the actor mentioned that somethings weren't set up properly. Although we were told that there were no red herrings in the room, there actually were alot. So instead of feeling challenged in this one, we were just very confused most of the time. We ended up escaping but I don't think we earned it. Prepare to do lots of reading throughout the room and in my opinion, the production value is low for the price. If you're going with just two people, the price is higher per person which is totally fine with us. My main gripe was our overall experience from start to finish. This one didn't do it for us. Super fun! And live actors! I've done lots of escape rooms but never one with a real person as part of the puzzle. It was a fun, surprising element. Good puzzles. Had an awesome experience doing my first escape room with Cluemaster! I was in a group of seven and we did "us vs them," which consists of two conjoining rooms. One group is in each room and you race to see who could get out first! The two rooms as listed on their website are The Cell Block and The Warden's Ruse. They also have an option for one group to do the rooms back to back, which would be really cool! The game master was awesome and friendly. And maybe gently poked fun at us when we did some embarrassing things! We all agreed upon a number of clues that both teams could use during the hour. The clues were definitely helpful when we got stuck! I don't want to spoil anything in the rooms, but the clues were very intricate. We had a blast figuring everything out!! Horrible experience. Scheduled at 11:00 am for 2 pm. Got there and they will not let the teenagers; who are 16 stay alone. They are saying I have to sit and wait. Owner claims it's clearly stated someone needs to be 18, which is not the case. I had to search for it after and then questioned why that would be stated when i bought 4 tickets for the 17 and under and not an adult. When asked for a refund, as I do not have time to sit there they said they need 24 hour notice. Excuse me, how can I give 24 hour notice when I booked at 11am the same day. Creature of the Year: You thought going back to school would be a breeze...Ms. Baker proves that wrong! This escape room is really well thought out and planned. The staging and decor are nicely done and I appreciated the tutorial and review on locks prior to beginning the challenge. There are some locks I've not seen previously, so getting to work them out without the pressure of the countdown clock is a plus. It's a real credit to the creators that the room is adaptable in the degree of difficulty, as it adds much more fun and flexibility to accommodate any size group and/or age of participants. My family has been on an escape room terror lately. We decided to try this location and we're happy we did. We were told to be there 15 minutes early and we received an email letting us know they were running a bit behind and to show up on time instead of early. When we showed up we were greeted right away and they made us felt welcome. We did the creature room and my family as a whole thought this was the best room with the best challenges to date. The girl who was our cluemaster was awesome and talked to us a bit after we were done. She was awesome and she completed what was already an amazing Sunday family night. Great job! read more

We took my daughter and 6 of her friends (ages 12 and 13) to do this for her 12th birthday. We were so happy with this company! This was so much fun. We did the scary classroom one, and had a group of four. It was me and my two children. We had such a blast, and It sure made you think. The lady that helped us out today was very friendly and helpful. We booked this online, and we never had any issues. We were instructed on everything before we started and also was given unlimited times to seek helpful hints when we got stuck. I will definitely be back for a more challenging one. We went here with a group of friends for our buddies' birthday party back in November and had a BLAST! Mike was there to help with all our needs, even extended our time when our group showed up (*cough*) late! I'm sure we were plenty loud & rowdy (it was a birthday celebration!), but Mike couldn't have been nicer & more accommodating to us all. We've told many people about this place and will definitely be back to check out the other room(s). We have been to SEVERAL escape rooms but this one was our all time favorite. One reason was the room was more than just finding clues that lead to clues, you had to figure things out more than most places. Also, we were doing better than "most" teams so they snuck in and made it a little harder as we went along. Most of all, the woman running it (Michele I believe) was AWESOME!!! She made it so much fun, even speaking in different accents each time we asked for a clue (inside group story but she went right along with it, making it that much more fun). Our family of 4 went to try and escape the room. We were greeted by a cordial man who showed us how each of the locks displayed at the entrance worked to familiarize us with the game. We were then taken to a well organized room filled with clues for us to solve in 60 minutes. Although I had played and escaped from rooms elsewhere, I did not escape from this one ((sad face)) and would have to say (with fairness) that their puzzles were pretty hard (ok ok - they were very hard). When our time was up, the man came back in to share how many puzzles we solved and what the remaining clues were. Overall, our family had lots of laugh and fun. We would love to try escaping again and highly recommended the experience to others. read more
