Haven't done an Escape Room in years, but family in town so saw this one and made a reservation online. When we arrived Adam quickly got us into it and we just went straight into the room and the scenario. The room was very well decorated and designed - I really liked the feeling of the room and it fit the scenario that was described which is a big reason why we chose this one over some others. You're briefed on a tablet when you get into the room about rules and then the scenario itself and timer starts ticking. You also request hints off of the tablet so everything was pretty smooth off of that. For our scenario we got to the last puzzle and ultimately failed. Did think the last puzzle was not in the best condition so kind of threw us off if we were doing it correctly/scared to break anything. But my group really thought the puzzles were creative and challenging and not a walk in the park even with the hints. Loved the immersiveness and challenge of the room. Would come again. read more

I've done more than 50 escape rooms, and Dynamic Escape Rooms' Continuum somehow managed to be the absolute worst experience of all of them. Honestly, calling some of these "puzzles" feels generous. Half the room felt less like a thoughtfully designed escape experience and more like someone dumped random junk into a dark room and hoped black lights would distract people from how unfinished everything was. The puzzle design was painfully inconsistent. Some clues were vague to the point of absurdity, others felt completely disconnected from the theme, and several moments came across less as "challenging" and more as "poorly conceptualized." There's a difference between clever and confusing. This room missed that line by a mile. The game master dynamic somehow made things worse. Instead of helping maintain immersion or guiding the experience smoothly, it felt awkward, disorganized, and disconnected from the actual gameplay. When you combine that with broken components and a room that was clearly not reset properly, the entire experience starts falling apart fast. At one point it genuinely felt like a quick trip to Ace Hardware and twenty bucks could improve the room dramatically. Loose props, worn-out mechanisms, cheap construction, and tech that either barely functioned or flat-out didn't work completely killed any sense of immersion. And the black lights... my goodness. If your room relies this heavily on black lights, maybe the actual puzzle design needs more work. It felt less like an escape room and more like a middle school laser tag arena trying to hide its flaws in the dark. There are escape rooms that challenge you. There are escape rooms that surprise you. And then there's Continuum, which mostly just tests your patience. Save your money, save your time, and literally go anywhere else. read more

Very fun and cool! The rooms have awesome technology to blow your mind lol. It's clean and well organized. BUT - Definitely do not pick the last slot of the night like we did... They will kind of rush through the background story and also rush you out the moment your times up. We literally almost reached the end (about one clue away from the end) and the worker came in and told us our time was up. That was the only negative part for me, because we've been to another escape room location where they gave us an extra 10 minutes just so we could complete the entirety of it. But it is also our fault for picking the last slot. Besides that it is a super fun time and will really get you thinking! Fun for a date night :) read more

We really got worried when we hadn't found even the first clue after 20 minutes, but then things started clicking. Fantastic escape rooms. We had an extensive day of 3 escape rooms planned and half way through the day we had a lull so we scheduled the secret gallery to be another additional room. It was so good that we left, got some water and came back immediately to do deja vu. Both rooms are difficult for sure, but the puzzles and high tech aspects were amazing. The clue system was novel and efficient. The game master was funny and charismatic. The finishing touches and themes in both rooms was top of the line. We've done 20+ escape rooms, most in Phoenix, some in San Diego and Las Vegas... I would put theirs in the top two if not the best. The greatest escape is the only other company that comes close, and I liked the difficulty level here better. read more

I had a great time during our session of the escape room. I appreciated that we had private time and were not paired with strangers. Staff was friendly and they even nudge you along if you're stuck. A friend and I decided to try this place. It was my first time ever doing an escape room and I was NOT disappointed! They scaled it down for us since there were only two for our group and our only real hindrance was that we were too short for one of the puzzles. Otherwise, I'd give this place 5/5 stars all around. Cleanliness, creativity, customer service, experience, etc. It was all very smooth and definitely exciting. There were a few times in the rooms where I'd get scared and jump but that added to the fun (and also, I'm very easily scared). They explain everything very thoroughly and with actual drama when describing the scene before you start and you go into the game with a tablet to carry around in case you need hints or want to take notes. You're also given access to a locker for you to store you things if you need to and each locker has a private key so that you don't have to worry about anyone taking your stuff. We have done MANY escape rooms over the years in multiple cities across America and hands down, Dynamic Escape Rooms is one of, if not the most exhilarating experience yet. We had the chance to do the Back2Back challenge (Deja Vu & The Secret Gallery) and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a phenomenal time. You may be shocked by the price, but it was totally worth the money! TRUST US! The rooms took great thought, research, intentionality, and engineering. Right when we thought we were almost going to escape--BAM--we were met with another exciting puzzle, environment, and scene. We finished both rooms with a few minutes to spare! 11 out of 10. Adam, the gentleman who hosted us, did a phenomenal job going into character and submerging us into the "world" of the room. My family and I did this escape room today on medium difficulty. The registration process was easy, there were many time slots available to choose from. I appreciated the option of signing waivers online prior to arrival to expedite the check in process. They were ready for us with the room prepared when we came in, so we were able to start right away. The room itself was great! The puzzles were all fantastic, just the right amount of difficulty. It was very non-linear so there were several different things going on at one time and everyone stayed busy throughout the whole game. The decor was perfect and we truly enjoyed each step of the game. This is the first game we have been in where they used an iPad system for clues. It was very handy and we could see quickly what out time remaining was without having to run into another room to check the time on the screen or look for a clue response. We sincerely look forward to the remaining rooms being open, and we will definitely return to do another level of the same game with different puzzles. read more

We came in a group of 6 to complete the Secret Gallery room. 4 out of 6 are escape room veterans (having done probably 80-100 rooms each). We barely escaped the room with several seconds left. Owners were very welcoming and nice. I had a good experience although I didn't love the room and I'll explain why. Production for a mom and pop place was very polished. Mechanics were well done and nothing was glitchy. The premise of the room was that we were breaking into a billionaires mansion and to gain access to his gallery where we had to recover the stones. I've probably done some version of this theme many times but I didn't feel like the tasks/puzzles were incorporated well into the theme. I felt that if I didn't have prior knowledge of/familiarity with doing some of these puzzles before, they would've been almost impossible. Even having seen some version of this puzzle in this past, we had to ask for clues from the get go. Many of the puzzles required multi steps that was hard to connect, there needs to be more subtle clues within these puzzles to help make that connection. It was a little too far fetched for my liking. There are puzzles that are difficult because they're extremely clever and novel. The puzzles here were difficult in the wrong way - it was very tedious. I would highly recommend beginners to do a different room. It would be better for a group with medium experience and a skip for traveling enthusiasts. I would definitely try another room at this location though. read more

This was super fun but would not recommend for someone's first time doing an escape room. Wished we were briefed on the difficulty ahead of time but we do not regret going. We had a group of 10 and did not finish in the 60min allotted time. There was so much detail and history packed inside this game but almost to a downfall. Had an amazing time at this escape room! We had a large group of about 14 people altogether. 11 adults, 3 teens. When we arrived for check in, I failed to realize that I booked a room that splits our group into a multi team! Since this was most of our groups first time doing an escape room, we wanted to all stick together and work through the puzzles to escape together. Adam was able to work with us and accommodate our request! Since there was so much of us, he warned us that we would be pretty cramped in the small rooms but that was okay by us. We did a company event on 12/28/2019 at 5pm. With only one out of five of us actual have done an escape room. We had very little to go off of. I would say for our first escape room experience, we all gave this place a 5/5. The owner's are great and if you ever get stuck, the clues that are given are fair. But if you are like me, and your friends drag you along to escape rooms and you would just as soon go to dinner, you must try this! You are not locked in, you're not trying to open a bunch of combination locks and the games are fascinating. They draw you into an incredible storyline and the reward of escaping (the medium hard) room was totally different than other escape places. We tried and failed miserably at the hardest level! My brain hurt afterwards but it was so fun to try. The rooms can all be set to different levels and that's a game changer. The owners are incredibly nice and helpful and really want you to succeed. We booked the Time Machine Part 1 room for our adult daughter's birthday. No one in our group had done an escape room before, so there was some anxiety. Adam, one of the owners, greeted us, explained the process which, put us at ease and he got us started. We were very impressed with the actual rooms and props and had lots of laughs trying to figure out the mystery. Lots of deductive reasoning was required. We solved the mystery just in the nick of time (with lots of hints). Our group enjoyed it so much and is looking forward to going again to solve the Time Machine Part 2. I have done a lot of escape rooms now. Probably around 20+. We did both Deja Vu and The Secret Gallery in the bundle they have, which saved us a lot of money since we typically do 2 in a day anyway. That was already a plus. It was $32.5 per person (we had 2) per room. Total was around $130 for 2 people and 2 rooms/games. Great price. Without spoilers of course, Deja Vu is about time travel and The Secret Gallery is a museum. These are themes I don't see too often which is nice too. I liked that the puzzles were not linear and that it was not locks and keys the whole time. It was hard trying to figure out what puzzle we were supposed to be focusing on, but I like that it was not all linear. They use an iPad that you carry in the room that shows time and how you get your hints. You can't get hints until 10 minutes have passed. From there you get guided nudges if you want or you can opt to not have them. And you can get unlimited hints. I've seen new takes on puzzles I've seen before and some new puzzles too. They have two individual restrooms and they are very clean. Also they have lockers with keys so you don't have to worry about bringing stuff in. Also they have one of those pads you can write on and erase by pressing a button. Adam was our game master and he was great! Great costumer service and very nice. Also gave us helpful nudges and hints when needed! They are building a third room so I'd definitely come back to see that room! read more

I really think this is a great escape room. The owners did a great job designing the games and they have multiple levels of difficulty. The rooms are put together well and it's a really nice building. I think it's best to go with a group but they have all kinds of options for different group types. Since my last review I have tried other escape rooms and this has left me even more impressed with Dynamic. Other rooms have left me swimming in an non ending ocean of locks simply decorated to fit the theme, but at Dynamic there is a complete and well-thought out story line resulting in each consecutive puzzle unveiling and delving deeper into the story. I just visited Dynamic Escape Rooms for the second time and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it! My friends and I decided to play medium and we had a lot of fun and did pretty well. We decided to come back and play hard and it was a completely different experience! I was skeptical playing the same room twice but the challenges were unique enough my friends and I still had a ton of fun and we still took up almost the whole time!
