Great Service, honest and on time. I would recommend AZ Eddy to family and friends. John Sun Lakes

Received service under our home warranty service (Total Protect). Robert called and gave a time he would be here. He called about 30 minutes out again. He diagnosed the issue as a bad fan motor and changed it out along with the capacitor. The unit also was low on freon as well and apparently the disconnect switch had welded itself inside. He replaced the fan motor, capacitor, and took care of the freon level. He needed to come back the next day for the disconnect switch, but the AC was running from the prior days repair. Excellent communication and he was very thorough in making sure everything was aligned and good to go. $85 out of pocket for the repair with the home warranty. I highly recommend their service. He was fast, fair, and honest. read more

Marge & John Bob is amazing. He does a great job, is always dependable and shows up when he says. He is honest and only does what needs to be fixed. I always recommend him to our friends. Thank you Bob read more

Bob Eddy and his team are amazing. He gives great service, shows up on time, fixes it quickly and at a reasonable price. He has jumped in and saved me more than once over the 10 years or so that I've used him. I love that he "only takes two days off a year: St. Paddy's Day and the opening day of Baseball" :-) Bob is an expert and knows his stuff. I originally found him because one of the fly-by-night AC companies recommended a whole host of expensive repairs. I called my home warranty company and they sent Bob. He looked at the thing the other company told me was failing and pointed out that it wasn't even a part that fit on my existing AC. He does annual maintenance BEFORE you need it, which is wonderful. He sends out a postcard to his longtime customers and schedules us when things are slow enough for him to make sure we won't have a failing AC when the weather goes all wacko and scorching hot. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this guy. Will use him as long as he's in business. I do want to respond to Debbie N. who had a tough time last month with him. Bob is right, the Warranty companies pay him pennies on the dollar. That's why you don't always get the best appliance replacements, etc. from your Warranty companies. I'm really sorry he couldn't help you, because he's really good and worth it. Because Bob is honest, he told you the truth. He didn't shine you on or drag it out or do a shoddy job just to make ends meet with the low pay the warranty company gives him. He's in business and supporting a family. He's a small shop that doesn't have a lot of leeway like the big national companies do. This weather system has kept every AC company in the valley slammed... So if he can't do it, he'll tell you the straight truth. I've chosen not to run my repairs on my AC through my warranty company if I can help it. I'd rather pay him what he's worth and know I won't have to have 3 or 4 followups. Make sense? Not sure what area you are in, Debbie, but if you're on NextDoor.com, maybe you can ask your neighbors for a recommendation. He didn't tell me to write this, I just know from working with him that he's gonna give you the straight answer, and as my pastor dad used to say, "God always answers prayer and sometimes the answer is 'No'." read more

Absolutely amazed by Bobs honesty!!! AZ Eddy was referred to me by a friend. Everything from the first call to set an appointment to the completion of the service call was 5star. I dumped my home warranty company to use a true professional!! Thank you Bob. read more

We received a recommendation for this company from our realtor who has used them many times. Over the past 10 years I have had at least one a/c company at my house per year (mainly for the nasty summer tune up that we all need). This company was OUTSTANDING - and I don't say that easily. They were at our house within 24 hours of me calling. Even better, they weren't supposed to show up until the early afternoon hours, but knew I was in a time crunch and they got there in the morning instead (now that's unheard of!). The tech was professional, and very nice - as I was home with my kids I didn't feel awkward letting him into my home (something that I cherish as I have had some really scummy A/C techs come out before). He was very knowledgeable about his service and took the time to answer my (probably asinine) questions. Their prices were fantastic! And the best part - they diagnosed the problem quickly, and actually FIXED it without trying to sell me anything (again, when the heck does this happen?!?!?!!!). This is the first AC company we have had that came out and didn't tell us our system was too old and try to sell us a new one. These kind of AC companies are hard to find in Phoenix. We will use them in the future and I highly recommend them. read more

We were referred to Bob at AZ Eddy's AC through our home warranty company (Home Warranty of America). I'm always a little bit nervous, as I prefer to get personal referrals --- but a broken A/C and a home warranty, I'm at their mercy. I was very impressed with Bob. A couple reasons why: 1) He's responsible -- He takes time to call the homeowner to set up the job, is reachable by cell or text always, and there were no dreaded no-shows 2) He's professional - He double and triple checked work to make sure everything worked correctly after installation. He also did the legwork to get a crane out to our house (we have a roof unit) and made sure the work area was prepped to keep the crane guy's hours to a minimum. 3) He's genuine - He took time to explain to me that the replacement option given to me by the warranty company was a solid option. I could do better (higher SEER rating), but for the size of the cooling area it wasn't worth the money. All in all, very nice work. Thanks, Bob. read more

I was referred to this honest contractor years ago. I'm the owner of Handyman Done Right in Gilbert and I refer them all the time. He does a great job and only does was is necessary. I approach customers the same way. Repeat work is valuable and when the bigger jobs are needed you can trust in them. read more

OK guys this is a review on steroids!!!!! If it's honest, hard working, diligent, polite, responsible, qualified people you value, give AZ Eddy's Ac a call. These guys go over the moon to get it right----------THEY call YOU back to see how things are going. They are up to the challenge of problem solving. I hesitate to say so much good because I don't want to everybody to use them and get overwhelmed but they are something not found in today"s workforce I'm a president of HOA IN Scottsdale and they will get our business. read more

AZ Eddy's is my Air Conditioner repair/maintenance guy for life. I've been using them consistently for about 3 years now, and usually work with Bob, and I have absolutely never been disappointed. I needed them to come out ASAP to fix my AC in the middle of an AZ summer (over 100 degrees of course) with two kids and a wife at home -- he came out promptly the next day early in the morning. These guys (or is it one guy?) are very honest - they will not overcharge you even if given the chance. I have even assumed that more repairs were required, i.e. new Freon, but he assured me that this was not the case, it was some other fix that didn't end up costing me anything. read more

Had a great experience with AZ Eddy's. He fixed my issue when I was on the verge of my landlord thinking I was making up the issue. See below for my review of the first company to inspect the issue: I would not recommend this company (MAXON AIR) based on my experience. I rent a home and my AC was having a problem keeping up with the summer heat. Set it to 76° and between 2-6 pm the AC runs without pause and the temp continues to rise to 83-84°. This continued and was documented via my Ecobee 3 smart thermostat. I called my owner who called Maxon. He did this because they had serviced his AC during a Home Warranty call a few years back. Upon arrival, the Maxon Air rep looked at smart thermostat and immediately began blaming it for the issues and stating he didn't understand computers. I showed him basic line graphs that show desired temp and actual measured internal temps (demonstrating that the AC couldn't keep up). He refused to even try and understand them. Additionally, he showed up in the morning and said it was cool - of course it was - the outside temp was 79° as opposed to 115°. The Maxon Air rep tested the AC and said everything was fine. When it came time to look at the air handler in the attic he told me he hated those ladders that fold down - they make him feel unsafe. At this point I honestly didn't expect much. He departed, after telling my owner that nothing was wrong. To my owners credit, he called AZ Eddy's AC. Bob Eddy arrived and in the span of 60 minutes diagnosed a problem using the same tests that Maxon had used. He fixed it and it is working great months later. I have no idea why Maxon couldn't identify the issue. To prevent from a warrantied repair? Lack of training? Stupidity? Who knows. Call AZ Eddy instead. read more

Bob Eddy provides great service at a fair price. They've taken care of us for 8 years now. I would highly recommend AC Eddy's AC.

I contacted Bob because his company was assigned to my claim. Immediately said he couldnt have someone come out until Monday; this I understand, makes sense. When I explained what the issue was, he said he was booked for two weeks and couldnt do the job. I advised I could wait two weeks, and he said he did NOT want to do the job because the Home Warranties do not pay enough to do the job and frankly he just didnt want to do it, quoting Bob. He proactively offered to call the home warranty and let them know. I let him know I would write this review. read more

Bob at AZ Eddy's has always treated me extremely well. I have used so many other companies in the past and they always say I need to do this and that and it's going to cost me this much. Bob has never said that I "needed" to do anything, although he has recommended some minor updates that would make my AC units more efficient and are minor costs. He accidentally broke my fan motor yesterday (it was 12 years old and likely going to go out soon anyway) while he was replacing my fan blade...and instead of saying "hey, your fan motor just went out and it's going to cost this much"...he did it absolutely free (over $300) because he said it could have lasted another few years and that it was his fault. I will not use anyone else for my AC needs and highly recommend AZ Eddy's AC. I am a stickler when it comes to customer service, and Bob has blown me away with his professionalism and HONESTY! read more

I would suggest NOT to go to Robert. He got assigned to me through home warranty company. Responded well however his appointment estimate is never accurate. In addition to that, he couldn't diagnose simple motor fan issue. He simply added freeons and couldn't wait to leave. My property manager and I both asked him to check the motor since it's obviously not just low of freeons. He had very bad attitude and said the AC was working fine. Two days later the AC broke again with exactly the reason we told him - the fan motor wasn't working as expected. I had to pay extra for my property manager to come out to work with him, and another two days without AC at a temperature of 115 in Phoenix summer. What a bummer!!! Stay away read more

We couldn't be happier with Bobs great service! He's always there as soon as he can be, is very thorough and is super reasonable. I would recommend him to all of my friends and family. Plus he tells good jokes to boot! Thanks Bob read more

Super Satisfied! I will definitely use Bob again & I highly recommend AZ Eddy's AC. Prompt. Professional. Knowledgable. Fair pricing.

Bob is really the best. I've dealt with a slew of HVAC companies in the valley over the last 30 years and finally (!) I've found a guy who is on the level and who measures success based on his customers' happiness. He is our go-to guy now...he is caring, kind, innovative and stays on the job until it's finished. On the recommendation of a friend, we asked him to help out with a problem that another well-known company wouldn't...they wanted to sell us a whole new unit at $8500...Bob fixed the problem for $450 and it's been running like a champ ever since. I trust him to take care of our properties...he is a treasure. read more

We have a house in north Phoenix. Our AC was damaged by the hailstorm a couple of years ago. Bob Eddy was fantastic. He was right on top of it. Got us a great deal on a new AC, worked really well with the American Home Shield insurer and our home insurer. His people came in with the crane and got that new system hooked up in no time. He is a true professional. I love that he has only two days that he won't work - St. Paddy's Day and the opening day of Baseball season. He's a true professional and so are the men who work with him. There are a lot of scam artists out there who will lie to you about what's going on up there on your roof. Bob takes a picture with his phone or invites you onto the roof to show you and explain what's going on. I have had other contractors tell me something that felt fishy. I've called Bob and gotten a second opinion. Most of the time he has just said, "Nope. You're good. They made that up." You can trust this guy. And in this day and age of so much corruption and greed, it's really wonderful and amazing to find a contractor you can trust. I would give him 10 stars if I could. read more

Bob is awesome. Great service, very knowledgeable, didn't try to upsell me on anything. My old A/C unit was shot, I needed to replace the whole thing and knew it (had multiple companies tell me the same thing), I had gotten numerous quotes, but everyone kept trying to upsell me and sell me more A/C than I needed for my 1500 sq ft home. Bob sold me a great 4 ton, 14 seer unit that is so quiet when it runs I wouldn't know it was running but for the strong blasts of cold air shooting out of every vent. Seriously this thing is great! Way better than my old unit. Got the whole install done in 9hrs. From talking to friends who had similar things done, it took them much longer. His company cleaned up after themselves as well, you'd never know they were there apart from a great new A/C unit. Would highly recommend to anyone. read more

I used this co. many time through several years. no problem charging for ac checks, or replacing expensive parts on the units outside easy to get at. Even changed a unit outside very expensive. when the unit in the attic neede work, he said to dirty of a job would not help me. left me high and drh after taking thousands of dollars on the outside unit left me with no fix. in 100 plus heat and record highs forcasted. I have no faith in Bobby as Good reliable source. read more

I have to say this is the best AC company I have dealt with in the 30 years that I have lived in the Valley. The tech are great, Aaron is the best. I even called them on a Sunday left a voicemail and they called me back said they would be out on Monday, that is customer service at it's finest. I highly recommend this company, they tell you the facts and don't try to sale you a line of ????. Thank you for great service. read more

This guy was very rude on me on the phone when asking about HOW TO GET HIM PAID! He then started doing work not covered on the home warranty without calling me with estimate or information. He was only apologetic when confronted on his behavior. Will not be using him ever again. he was though very nice when he told me what he would be charging me for work he didn't ask to do! read more

I had another local AC company come out and look at one of our AC units. They gave us an estimate on "repairs" needed to fix the problem. I called Az Eddys for second opinion....WOW.....totally different problem than the first company and only a small fraction of the price as well!! We got their number from another friend who posted positive review on FB.....Thank you....the guys were very professional, pointed out what was wrong and how to avoid it in the future. Will definitely use them in the future should any problems arise!! read more

I have to tell you, they don't get better than Bob the owner of AZ EDDY'S. The two people who gave him poor ratings obviously dealt with their warrantee cos. who abuse their contractors. The real problem is the warantee companies, who BTW we originally got Bob from a couple of years ago. Decent honest customers, recognize the honesty and integrity this man has, and he truly knows his trade. He came out on a last minute call from me, for our tenant who was waiting for our Warrantee Co. to find someone, which after 3 tries was unsuccessful. It was 115 degrees outside, and even though Bob was done for the day, he went there within an hour or so, to help us out, knowing our predicament. He diagnosed the problem right away, and didn't gouge me, due to the last minute weekend call, and the heat. For you yelpers who have nothing nice to say, blame your warrantee companies, not Bob! read more

Bob did a great job , his time managemnet was great , he said what he was gonign to do and did in the time frame , he even came at 8:00pm to get my air conditioner going, gotta love this man , thank you so much Bob read more

Bob at AZ Eddy's is a stand-up guy. After my mom was without A/C for 4 days because her home warranty company gave her the runaround, went above and beyond to get her taken care of. He was unable to get the part for her A/C on the day of service but went out of his way to call other A/C companies in the valley to see if they had the part on-hand. They found the part and picked it up and installed it on a SUNDAY!! They even refused to take my mom's home warranty deductible payment because of the trouble she went through. They are definitely a legit, honest company!! Use these guys, they will get you taken care of and will not bend you over for it!!! read more
