After reading the reviews, I wanted to love this place. I made an appointment for the same day. It was a cute little spot and was clean, but I was disappointed with the outcome. Pros: 1. Clean spa and not crowded 2. Great price point at $25 for a gel manicure. Cons: 1. While the tech was scraping off my old polish, she kept filing near my cuticle area to the point where it was painful. 2. The color I received was much lighter to what I had wanted. Usually the color darkens with each layer, but this was off. I didn't say anything though, as we already had two layers on. 3. It was a little messy. My nails have small lumps, and the tech left some polish on my hand. Overall, I wasn't really happy with it, but that's also on me since I should've said something. Walked in on a weekend for a regular pedicure, Not a busy day when I came. As she was beginning the pedicure process she went too deep on one of my toes (cleaning?) that she cut me and it wouldn't stop bleeding....she tried to stop it by applying alcohol or acetone I assume? Honestly, I don't know but I never once had a bleed with my pedicures...it took a week or so to heal and not sting anymore. Overall pedicure job was ok, polish lasted a month no chips but making me bleed? No thanks...no apology or a word from the lady doing my toenails either, it was a very awkward and uncomfortable experience. read more

This was my first time coming here and I will say, it was awesome! I came here for a regular manicure and left very satisfied with the result. The staff here is incredibly professional and very appreciative of their clients. This nail salon is rather small in size, but pretty comfortable. You walk in and the stations are on the left, while the pedicure chairs are on the right. I called them for a same-day walk in and they took me in right away! I went in during the early afternoon and they weren't too busy. Their process and care for their work really shows here. read more

I've never had such relaxing mani pedi session. First of all this place is so cute. They have pretty aesthetic decors. I loved their chairs. I did miss massage chairs from my other nail salons. The lady who attended me was very sweet. The pedicure included washing, cleaning, hot stone massage, hot towel massage and wax coat. The color choices are limited here but I was able to find what I wanted. Manicure was pretty standard. The mood here was great and I'm definitely coming back. PSA: DO NOT LET ANYONE DIG INTO THE SIDE OF YOUR NAILS FOR INGROWNS. i went here twice over the summer for pedicures. i noticed that instead of cutting the side of your nails to deal with ingrowns, they try to dig them out instead. i didn't know any better and didn't say anything thinking it was a new way of doing your nails since i don't frequent nail salons. fast forward to the second time i went, the same process for dealing with ingrown nails, and the nail polish chipped in 2 days. 2 weeks after that my toes are swollen and hurt so i try to cut the ingrowns myself (which i've done all my life), i couldn't because they had been pushed so deep into my skin there was nothing to cut. this made my toes even more swollen, painful, and now infected. i had to urgently go to a podiatrist because i couldn't walk and after a procedure to remove the impacted ingrown nails from both big toes, i had to wait for another 3 weeks to recover and spent a couple of hundred dollars getting treatment. the dr. asked why i had let someone dig into my nails and honestly i didn't know any better. but now YOU do! def not worth ever coming here again. go at your own risk! read more

I recently relocated from Chicago and was having a hard time finding a good, clean, reasonably priced nails salon in West New York, Union City and North Bergen. I literately walked and Ubered to so many places and they just weren't good or did not take walk-ins, until I found this gem!! Especially with COVID, they are taking precautions and wearing masks. The prices are very reasonable. $25 for gel mani & $20 for pedi. Honestly, this was the best regular pedi I've ever had in my life. For the $25 regular pedi, you get the classic cleaning, exfoliating, hot towel, hot stone massage, AND wax coating on your heels. I live in Hoboken and no salon here does acrylic refills. I usually go to a place in Jersey city (Cutiecles) which does a phenomenal job every time at a decent price. I tried to find a new place to go since no where else had availability and I found AYS Nail Spa which when I called, told me that they did acrylic refills at $40. It started out great but when the woman cut my cuticles she gashed my finger open and it would not stop bleeding. It was definitely not her fault at all and did everything she could to make it stop but however the woman preceded to refill the acrylic and the blood began to seep into the acrylic. This is when I became concerned that I would get an infection. When asking if I should continue with the manicure the woman said I was fine that I just "bleed more than others". The manicure itself came out well I just have a scar and a red bloodline on the outside of the acrylic on my thumb. After 1 hour and 45 minutes they charged me full price for the manicure.
