The owner was the one who did my nails and she was looking at Her notes the entire time. When I told her she did an awful job not satisfied her response was instead of 50 I will charge you 45 I should have paid nothing for the job that I received. Me and my fiance came in for a simple manicure. My man opted for a man manicure and wanted a buff and I just wanted them to take my nail polish off and file my nails. I didn't want any nail polish. The 2 Asian women sitting closer to the door was just outright horrible. How are you going to mess up a manicure that didn't require much ?! They rushed the job, didn't take all the polish off and cuticles were not cut correctly. They sanitation of the tools they used is very questionable. Also they say it's $9 for a manicure but they charge an extra $1 to take off the polish! What kind of foolery is that? We will never return back and be warned for those going there. read more

I came with two of my friends. 2 of use got gel manicures and 1 regular manicure They charged us $25 for gel manicure and $8 for a regular manicure. For this spend your money somewhere else where your not rushed and given a bad job! The nail filers and pliers were not clean between customers... So gross! The Asian lady rushed the gel manicures...which was uneven and blotchy. My friend picked out a color and they choose a different color for her gel nail polish...she pointed out a black spot in her green nail polish and they didn't even clean it to clear the nail polish.... By the way...my friend did not want to tip because they did such a bad job...and the older Asian lady came up to her and requested a tip!!!! I may have found my new mani pedi spot. I went there for the first time today and was very pleased. The regular pedi was very thorough; it included exfoliating, massage, and the hot wax on your heals. My feet feel amazing (if I don't say so myself). The mani was also very good. The girls seem to genuinely enjoy doing nails. They were not rushed at all. As far as the setting goes, from outside it looks like a hole in the wall. But when you enter you start to look around and things are really clean and new. The massage chairs and mani chairs are all brand new. Super comfortable. And the drying station has fans that don't require the visual to see if they're on. read more

Only rating based on overall experience bc only 1 of 3 ppl were good. My sister, friend and I went this morning. Appointment is suggested bc we made one and a lady who walked in before us apparently was told to wait bc we were supposed to have ours at the same time. Joanna did my nails. Got a regular pedicure and French manicure gel. Came out to $50. She cleaned up my cuticles well and was efficient with the gel. My sister had acrylic and gel. The first lady started it but difnt match her nails with the tips and had another crooked. It was fixed by Kim who finished her nails. Unfortunately it came out thick and a bit clumpy. Plus she added design on it on the ring finger my sister never asked for. I think she was just trying to be nice but she never asked and had she been given the option, would say no thank you. My friend had a lady who started my sisters nails...she seemed both slow and incompetent. She didn't listen when my friend said the French tip was not straight and seemed like a big language barrier. Idk. So I came here hoping for the best, but I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. Actually.. a whole lot of disappointed. I saw a roach running out in plain sight. The lady was doing a pedicure when I pointed it out, and she just smashed it with her foot and continued! It was freaking gross.. also, they're rude when it comes to tipping. I can speak Spanish and can understand what "chincha" means. She slammed my card on the table, assuming because I tipped so little in cash. This is my favorite nail salon in Secaucus. I go there frequently to get my eyebrows done (by the owner), and I go there with my mother for pedicures to relax and have a girls day every once in a while. We love it there! They take wonderful care of you, and their massage chairs are great. Sometimes the chairs have a mind of their own though and you can't seem to figure out the massage settings when there's a glitch, but they still feel good. The girls who do the pedicures are great, and they have a bunch of new techniques involving collagen and aloe that leave your feet feeling extra smooth. We use the nail polish color "Wicked" a lot and it lasts a long time and is a nice dark color! :) read more

My mother, my sister and I went to originally get pedicures and since all the chairs were being occupied I ask if we could get the mani pedi combo while we waited for an open chair and the lady snapped at me and said that I needed to make up my mind cause they closed at 7:30... mind I tell you we walked in at 7 pm not realizing they closed at 7:30 and asked if they would take us, they said yes. I can understand if they told us that they couldn't take us from the very start or even if they told me that they couldn't do the manicures cause it was getting close to closing time. Went for the first time today and I'm so happy I found this place. $20 mani pedi special that included a scrub on the feet, massage, and even a short shoulder massage while drying your nails. They took their time and they honored my appointment even tho I only made it an hour before. Honestly, most places that charge $20 bucks have chairs that don't even work and no sort of massage or anything. Went a week ago for a fill in and pedicure. Maria did a great job on my feet. I thought my nails were done good until two days later the gel nail polish started to chip,I went back and the owner fixed them which I thought there would be no more issues, well they chipped again the next day and two of my nails are lifting and I'm going on vacation! If I could give them zero stars, I would. I went in last Wednesday at lunch for a gel manicure for my a trip to Florida over the weekend. By Friday, it was chipping and on Saturday every single nail peeled off in one piece. I called on Saturday to ask for a refund and was told they don't do them and to come in on Monday and they would fix it. I came in on Monday at lunch and the lady at the front had no idea who I was or what had happened. She told me I needed to come back the following day when the lady who did my original manicure would be in and she couldn't help me. Thankfully, another employee (Maria) confirmed that I had been in the week before and had gotten gel, so my color should be on. I then had to wait for Maria to finish her lunch while the other lady just sat there watching me to get my nails repainted. I always go to a wonderful salon on the UWS of Manhattan (Susie's, if you're ever on 72nd Street) and thought it would be convenient to pop in here based on previously good reviews during my lunch break. What a mistake that was. Hopefully this paint will last me until my next appt. in the city. Don't waste your time and money here. I paid $33 for a gel manicure for less than 48 hours and then had to fight for it to be redone. Let's see how long this one lasts. read more
