So I went. I walked in and immediately was greeted by Kisbel with a big warm smile. She gave me forms to fill out and complimented my curls (fastest way to make me smile!). After the brief paperwork, I went into the waxing room. Now, I can be a bit of a stickler for organization and cleanliness, as you should be if you're about to expose your lady bits to someone you just met. Surprisingly, I was not nervous about being half naked, because the room was SUPER clean, bright and comfortable. I can't stress enough how terrified I was, because of all the horror stories I've been told before. That being said... The process itself: being that it was my first time, I was nervous (aka scared as shit), but Kisbel talked to me the entire time. She remembered that I mentioned going on vacation, and that I'm a teacher and asked me questions about both. She was about half way through when I realized "oh shit, I'm actually doing this". It honestly was not painful at all. Being satisfied with my Brazilian, I decided to do my underarms as well. Again, not painful. The agreement says, he can charge 50% if not cancelled ahead. The guy charged the full amount to the credit card on file. 2) My other son went for a perm for what he expected was $120. When I checked the card charges later, the charge was for $189. Unfortunately, my husband who paid for the service did not question the charges. Regardless, the guy should not have added extras without disclosing. 3) My daughter scheduled a haircut with no blow dry. When I am paying, the guy charged for the amount with blow dry and blamed my daughter for not speaking up. Because of that guy's lack of customer service skills, he just lost a family of 6, and earned a bad review.

Maybe she just found this out, but it would have been nice to know before coming in or I would have brought cash. There wasn't any apparent attempt to fix it. She just said to Venmo the money. I don't have Venmo so I had to spend like 10 minutes setting it up, adding credit card, then paying a fee on top of it to process credit cards. There was no apology. She then said they'd raised their prices but not on the website and not in the store. That felt super shady. The services were good but the tech issues of payment and nonchalance to it was frustrating. If you do come here, make sure to ask before service what pricing or else they'll just charge whatever they are in the mood for that day.
