I have been going here for many years but I am disappointed with how rude the manager is. I had UV gel nails placed for my birthday for the first time, days later MULTIPLE nails came off and I went back immediately, She was kind enough to fix them the first time. However, 2 days later the same thing happened and I let her know that UV nails are not sitting well in my nails and i would like GEL nails instead, along with my money back for the UV nails which were 50$ MORE expensive. I was finally given store credit (gift card, no money back), but she refused to fix my remaining chipped nails for an additional price. The client who was with the manager was willing to wait a mere 5-10 min for her to fix them for me (for an additional price), but instead she created a scene, was rude about how I should've called to make yet another appointment to fix my nails and how she does NOT HAVE time (5 minutes) for this. The manager does not respect other people's time, and would've had me come in again to fix by appointment rather than just take out 5 min of her time when I walked in. Coming in by appointment every 2-3 days is not easy for anyone with a job, yet this manager has no regard for her clients' time. I come here for pedicures during the summer months because I work nearby. I recommend making an appointment especially if you go during lunchtime as it gets busy and parking can be limited in the shopping area. The pedicure is always very relaxing, they even throw in a hot stone massage included in the basic pedicure. This is like your typical walk in nail salon. I came here for a pedicure back in May because it was the closest place to where I live. It was the most basic pedicure ever. I really needed my feet scrubbed and figured a normal pedicure would take care of that. You still sit with your feet soaking and get a little massage but not a lot of attention to the bottom of my feet. The polish lasted for a long time and it looked good but I wish there was more to it. This time I came for my birthday manicure. If you sign up for the membership for $10, you get a $10 credit on your birthday. So in your first year it pays for itself. The basic manicure is $10 so it worked out perfect. I'm not sure what the woman's name was who did my nails but she did a great job. My nails never stand a chance and they have survived one day so far (yes that's a big deal for me!). Recently moved into the area and was looking for a new salon. I called in asking what their hours were and I was informed they were open until 7:30. The lady on the phone was nice enough to tell me to come by in 20 minutes for my manicure and pedicure. Oh and best part it's in a shopping plaza with parking so no more feed the meter panic attacks midway through my pedicure/manicure. Lo and behold I arrived at 6:25 and was promptly greeted. Ana got started on my pedicure she was very gentle but got work done, the manicure was great as well. It's been 7 days since I got my nails done and I have a little chip which was cause by me while cooking. I was actually thinking when are my nails going to start chipping because I want to go get my nails done. Can't wait to go back, I hope my second time there is just as good as my first! read more

Came here once for a pedicure and the manicurist didn't like the texture of the color I picked so she walked away with the bottle, I saw her pour liquid out of a big plastic bottle (assuming acetone?) into it and came back. At this point I should have said something but I don't like it when people tell me how to do my job so I decided to let her do hers. Came out fine, went home, and a day later it starting chipping. Went back and they fixed it without asking any questions, but still inconvenient that I had to go back. Second time I went there I got a gel manicure. A day later the entire nailcolor peeled off the nail so I was stuck with 1 nail with no paint. I was out of town for a wedding at this point so was pretty much stuck SOL with no paint on a nail so I decided to just put regular polish over the gel manicure so at least all my nails matched. Throughout the next 2 weeks my nails continued to chip. I just went back to get the gel manicure taken off and get a regular mani+pedi and she said it would be $5 extra to get the gel off. So not only did they leave me with mangled nails, but they wanted to charge me extra to fix it. NO THANKS! I'll take my business somewhere else. read more

Not only are they rude, but none of their gel colors match to nail lacquer for feet, and they rush their services. The nail tech cut my nails so short you can see the line on my skin under the nails which hurt. Not only did she cut them super short but my ring nail was filed crooked. The owner is quick to charge and will even point out that you have to tip. After two days my gel polish peeled. Save your money and find a better place with better reviews. read more

A plain manicure is only 10 bucks, which is awesome. I had gotten a design on two nails, so it was bumped up to 20. Still didn't mind, but the design didn't come out very nice. The remainder of my nails looked pretty, though, and they lasted about a week without me doing anything extra to them. I'm giving them three stars because the manicure wasn't perfect as I mentioned above and because they don't accept a tip on a credit card. You have to pay cash for tips, which I rarely keep on me. Went for a gel manicure and gel pedicure. Never pushed back my cuticles or did anything much with my hands. Both My middle finger nails were filed crooked. She never filed the side of my nails , so they look extra short and wide. If you're thinking why didn't you say anything? Well I wasn't allowed to see my nails the entire time I was in there. She kept yelling at me everytime I tried to look to put them in the UV light. Spent way too much time with my hand in there. You only need 30 seconds. She wanted my hand in there the entire time. The gel wasn't sealed properly and had started to lift, only three days after. Felt extremely rushed and no one said a thing to me , or anyone else the entire time. The Spanish ladies in there all talk and laugh to each other about the owner , thinking no one else can understand them. If you are looking for a simple pedicure I would recommend, but after paying just under 100 for a mani , pedi and a tip (even though it wasn't deserved) I would never go back. The owner takes on too many clients in the name of money and her employees are annoyed by it. They know they can't handle the amount of people she says yes to in an hour. read more

Very upsetting the level of customer service you receive when you are a paying customer. I have come to Eden Nails for over a year now and have seen Kaeci for my spa pedicures, she is wonderful and does a great job so please request her if you intend to give your money to this Nail shop. The woman at the front who runs the place does not listen to your concerns or care that you are an upset or an unsatisfied customer. She laughs when you speak about a service that you are paying for that is not up to standard. What happened: I sat down for a spa pedicure which you pay $45 (not a problem at all, take my money). It includes a massage chair in the service plus a few other things that a regular pedicure does not include. This particular massage chair did not work today, so I mentioned that it was not working as I look forward to getting this massage while I get my toes done. She did not offer to move me chairs while 5 others remained open. At time of payment, she laughed when I brought up the fact the the service was not complete as the chair did not work. Again she laughed and said "no, no, no, this is a complementary service." Huh? I pay for this spa pedicure and you will not do anything about the price for this one time as I did not enjoy it as I normally do. Again she laughed. Very unprofessional, I do not believe you should be treated this way when you are a paying customer, especially a good customer, always tipping Kaeci $20 for her work. I don't believe leaving a nail spa you should feel this way so I would suggest that you seek other options in Secaucus, although there are not many. Just be prepared to be disrespected if an issue arises. Also, in case anyone would like a heads up, they only do gel fills, not acrylic and it runs at about $75. read more

The technician did an amazing job with my pesky acrylic removal and she was very friendly. The owner was very kind and spoke three languages! First time at the salon and I'm so glad I picked this one. When I walked in I was immediately welcomed with smiling faces. They encouraged me to pick a color and directed me to the pedicure station. I was open to the up sale of a pricer pedicure- really wanted the good rubs. They also offered me 20% off any service. I wound up getting the Shea butter pedicure and boy was it worth it! Massaged my legs, feet, hands and arms! I was thoroughly pleased! Defiantly would go back. Plus they are very clean - that's always a worry when getting a pedicure.
