If I could rate it higher, I would! One of the best dinners I've had in my life! We got the chicken…read morekabobs, baba ghanoush, grilled veggies, saffron rice, pita, and baklava. Every single dish was PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned. The chicken and veggies were seasoned with just enough spices where it had a slight kick, but not overpowering at all. A perfect balance to bring out the natural flavors of each item. The pita was perfection! Soft and warm, with a slight char on some of the pieces, which added such a beautiful bite with the hummus. Speaking of hummus, the Izmir hummus was silky smooth and incredible. I've had a lot of restaurant hummus and this one was MILES in ahead of them. It also paired beautifully with all of the other items. A flawless base. I cannot wait to come back here! Marcelo was an amazing waiter and even gave us recommendations for next time.

The Valentine's Day decorations were so cute and definitely added to the vibe. The food is always so good! They've added a few new items to the menu, don't skip the Burrata or the Chicken meatballs. I'm not usually a desert eater, but their Tiramisu is to die for! The service is spot on, as if they anticipate your needs, but not intrusive. On the way out they give the ladies a rose, a nice touch. I see why this place has become the beloved Dallas institution it is. I can't wait to go back!

Samad Khan is incredibly kind and full of positive energy, and you can really feel the care and love he puts into the place. Every time we come here we truly enjoy it. We had the Gheymeh Bademjan and the Kebab Combo, both were absolutely delicious. The chicken kebabs were excellent, and the eggplant in the stew was amazing. We also had Lamb shank which is flavorful and super tender and nice. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Persian food and a cozy, friendly atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I didn't like the taste, it was nothing special and was just okay. I ordered their most popular item which is Baghaleh Polo ba Mahicheh (Lima Bean & Dill rice and Lamb Shank). Lamb shank was tendered and easy to eat but had no taste. Tasted like I was just eating a boiled meat. Rice was also nothing special. I have ate Persian food at other places and just the taste of rice is always to die for. Unfortunately, I didn't taste the same here and it was just a simple boiled rice with bean and dill. Customer service was great and had no issues with it. Restaurant is old, aged, and very run down. They don't even have proper restaurant menu and have bunch of random old photos on loose papers and some on the wall. It doesn't look owner (old) has any intentions to renovate/update. It was also very hard to locate from outside as there is a very small hidden restaurant sign and you will easily miss it if going for the first time. Very limited free parking next door. From outside restaurant looks like it is inside a house with overgrown front yard with weed and others. I guess owner is just happy with as-is setup and income :) Not sure if I will go again or not, but you can definitely try your luck with other food items.

Finally arriving in Dallas after a long morning filled with travel and I was able to time Uber Eats…read moreperfectly to arrive with delicious food to my hotel. I ordered the Chicken TAwook plate with fries and tabouleh. It was divine. I love that it came with garlic sauce. That's actually why I ordered it. I was impressed with how my fries remained crispy even though they didn't make any steam holes. The tabouleh was so fresh and the rice was perfectly cooked. The star of my plate was of course the chicken; there was a lot of it. Large chunks that were perfectly grilled and they weren't dry. My husband ordered the Kafka Beef Plate with tabouleh and hummus. I hate that I had to remove a star but he said his hummus was "runny and watery". I was having too much fun with my food to investigate, but I'm going to take his word for it. I'm picky with hummus so I don't normally order it from random places. He'll learn someday. He also didn't like a spice that was in the Kafta. It was probably nutmeg or cumin or a combination of both. I also have learned my lesson with Mediterranean cuisine that I'm unfamiliar with. I don't like cinnamon or those pumpkin pie variety of spices in my meat so I never order anything that's beef or lamb. In their defense, I bet the meat was delicious if you like those spices. I wish they had included ketchup for my fries. I'd order from here again.
