Absolutely try this place when you are in the area. Only reason for not a five star is that portion was a little smaller than expected but only because it was so good. I could have kept eating more and more. That said, I did not leave hungry. Ordered the avocado bacon scramble. Cooked perfectly and very tasty. Had mixed greens on the side. Fresh greens nice side vinagrette. Coffe was fine. Prices fair. Restaurant is clean and welcomingly decorated. Friendly staff, quick service. In, fed, out in 30 minutes. Granted this was a mid-morning weekday so I didn't exactly test them under pressure. Will return. read more

One of the best waffles I've ever had! We were seated on the long bar near the kitchen and were facing other tables, so that felt a bit awkward... but the service was great, as was the food. The only word of caution is that if you are still be covid cautious, we had direct view into the kitchen and many were not wearing masks, or had them under their chin. As I'm fully vaccinated, I wasn't as concerned for myself, but this is a big problem for some. read more

This is the best breakfast place we have been to in a long time. It took a little getting the food out to us but it is worth the wait the food came out hot and fresh tasting. not like someplace when you have been waiting and it come out cold and old tasting. the coffee here is great. my little one told the waiter is was Superior .he was shocked that a little kid could say Superior. read more

Eggcelent!. sorry! I've been meaning to say that for a while now.! This is one fine breakfast place. Not too crowded on a Sunday morning, Service was very nice and we got our Coffee and OJ very quickly. They have a huge selection of dishes including Veggie options and everything was just right. I had the Waffle Eggsprerience.. a large hot waffle with 2 eggs and Sausage. All parts of the meal were really good. The rest of the table had an Egg Byte omelet which looked really nice, French toast and the Athena scramble. All the dishes were good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. $20 for the Waffle Eggsperience, french toast, 1 coffee and 1 small OJ. read more

A small breakfast/brunch joint in a random strip center...who would have thought I'd have the best Belgian waffle ever here. I even ordered a second the last time I ate here because they are so light and airy. It's hard to find a breakfast place that wont serve you a frozen charred frisbee of a waffle, so this was a nice surprise. All the other breakfast fare was good, but just that. The eggs, bacon, coffee, etc. all seemed like what you'd expect at a place like this, just nothing mind blowing. read more

One of the best brunch/breakfast places in Dallas. Great service, excellent food. Be prepared for a wait on the weekends. Their pancakes are excellent but so is everything else on the menu. Their skillets are massive and flavorful. read more

I received a menu from our neighborhood association, and decided to check out the place. The food was great! I ordered the Santa Fe Huevos (without meat), It hit the spot, it was "eggs-actly" what I was craving for. Our waiter was great, and courteous. I'm definitely going back soon. I'd recommend it to anyone for breakfast/brunch! read more

My fiancé and I wanted the best French toast and yelp directed me here. The wait was very long on a Sunday morning and the foyer was very small. We suspected if there were this many people that the food must be superb. We waited approximately 35 minutes to be seated. I ordered apple juice and it tasted watered down. We order the French toast and gave it a 7out of 10. The bread was thick but the batter seemed to lack adequate egg or seasoning. We both were underwealmed but thought it was good. read more

I've been a patron of the Egg and I since the moment they opened. I love love love a great breakfast place and they truly have yummy meals. Their lunches are delicious too but it's the breakfast I come for. They are ALWAYS friendly and take good care of me. I have only had one time that the waiter was really slow and they were having some kind of problem were I think someone didn't show up. But other than a perfect record of taking care of me and the food being sooooooooo good. the prices are good wait staff is friendly the food delicious and I always feel comfortable there. I think they have free wifi Glad they opened up! read more

Ok. Good food. That's all I am gonna say. HOWEVER, the music made me a little angry. It was offensive. It didn't have foul language, just bad music. Too slow. It kind of triggered my post natal depression from 17 years ago. That's a time I don't like to revisit. So thanks a lot for that. Despite this... there was no alcohol in this establishment so A+ from me and A+ from the big man upstairs (Jesus, hehe). read more

I was so overwhelmed by the menu. There were SO many choices-- do I want pancakes, waffles, eggs, or oatmeal. After about 10 min trying to decide, I settled on one of their egg concoctions with homestyle potatoes. I blame only myself for not really liking my selection. Egg whites are egg whites and toast is toast so those are my fault. My one valid complaint were the potatoes, for which I did not like the seasoning. The hubby agreed with the potato comment, but was much happier with his pancakes. I will most definitely give this place another chance. There are so many options that you have to leave happy-- however skip the healthy food and just order one of their specialties. read more

I love this brunch place! The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful! A definite must do brunch place.

Very attentive service. Completely adequate Eggs Benedict and coffee at a reasonable price. Chain-style atmosphere. Friendly manager.

I had the Bacon Avocado Sampler and it was amazing. I also substituted the muffin for a slice of French toast which was also good. Someone in my party had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and it was also amazing. Will be coming back. read more

Yummy!! This was my second time here. I forgot how great this place was. Out waitress was great, very attentive and nice. Great coffee and delicious food. I had the Texas Skillet which had eggs, potatoes, mushrooms, cheese and steak. It was a lot of food but every bite was delicious. The first time I came here I had the strawberry banana waffle, excited choice. You can't go wrong with a Belgium waffle :) I also tried the Colorado Jack Scramble, Cordon Bleu Skillet, and the 3-Cheese Veggie Flatbread. All these choices were excellent and I will most definitely be back!! read more

What is not to love about this place? My friends and I typically visit here once a month after we get off our jet at Million Air around the corner. I always get the Cambridge Skillet with sunny side eggs, which was also on the old menu when this restaurant was The Egg & I. The food is consistent, but the wait staff seems iffy. There are always new faces, but I guess that's the restaurant biz. If you want a testimony to how much I love this place, months ago my friend grabbed the warm pancake syrup and as it wasn't properly closed it spilled all over him. After a personal apology from the manager, who is still there, the poor guy sat there in sticky syrup finishing his food. Then the waitress said she had been known for doing that and not checking the syrup containers? Strange, but whatever. Today we asked for 2 carafes of water, which I know is a lot for 4 people, but last night was New Year's Eve and some people drank. The waitress made a comment asking if we had been "ignored before" as if that was why we were ordering extra water. Nope, just a thirsty group of people. The service is always decent, the servers are a little odd, but it's the food that keeps us coming back. read more

Standard breakfast fare. I would have liked to see bigger portions. The scrambles are good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The eggs Benedict was again ok, but but nothing special. I am tempted to give an extra star for the pineapple and coconut pancakes. They were Delicious and the only reason I would come back. read more

Like to come to this place because there's never a line on the weekend and if there is a line it moves fast. The food here is always fresh and tasty. Journeyed here during one of the recent snow days for some brunch with the boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised. The name kind of threw me off a bit, but the interior was nice and made me feel all warm and cozy. The service was good, and the food was pretty tasty. It took me forever to go through the menu to pick something; it all looked so delicious. I finally asked our waitress what she recommended and ended up getting the MBA frittata. It was quite delicious! I'll definitely be back for brunch again soon :) read more

This one is a solid 4-star breakfast place, I think! Didn't blow me away, but I enjoyed it and look forward to going back. Lots of solid breakfast options, many themed from all over the US and some from all over the world. Many feature eggs as their base, but not all. I enjoyed the Mexican scrambler...scooped some into the tortilla they gave me and quite enjoyed the chipotle salsa they included. It also had some other kind of salsa that looked more like turkey gravy than anything else and wasn't spicy at all. Could have used a couple more tortillas on the side....c'mon, they cost next-to-nothing! My wife had the pecan pancakes and loved them. There's a ton of options here, and for somebody like me who loves breakfast, that's a very good thing! It felt slightly on the high-end of inexpensive breakfast, but it wasn't bad. Looking forward to going back and trying more things. read more

We had eggs and waffles - perfectly prepared and very tasty. Would come back often if we lived closer!

Every location I've been to has never been disappointing. Exceptional food and service. 5 Star breakfast spot.

I gave in and wanted to write a review. This little gem of a restaurant is a chain I was introduced to in Florida and has a great breakfast menu. I come often and the food quality and service is great. I have seen people compare to I-Hop or Denny's (Yuck). NO COMPARISON. The food quality is significantly higher and the pancakes are mmmmm goood! Service A+ - My waiter, Alex was a stud. He remembered my order, down to the extra butter! He was very attentive and always making sure you have everything you need. The overall crew is very attentive and it isn't strange for them to "wish you well, drive safe and see you next time. (as a team)" If you want to experience good food, at a good price with real people. Check out the local gem. read more

Very accommodating, special diet and they made every effort. Friendly and quick service.

Been here a few times in the last six months or so because we really like the food. We seem to hit and miss with the servers; we've had 50% that were warm and friendly and gave you that definitely-come-back again feeling and 50% that were just plain bad. One in the 50% bad group made me really uncomfortable because his fingernails were so dirty. I didn't want to eat my food and my husband reminded me we always ask God to bless our food so we will be fine. (Thank you Jesus!) Also, we noticed there's a guy that goes around and asks people how they're doing, but in all of our visits he's never asked us once. He seems to go to certain tables only and just hangs and hangs for far too long...if he's a manager that's bad business...I would rather enjoy my meal then have the manager hanging at my table talking. Back to the food...everything I've had has been very good. I always feel just right after eating, not too full and not hungry. We've never had to wait longer than a moment to be seated and have always gone on Saturday mornings, but we did notice most people that eat here talk very loud. We're from California and have lived along the West Coast, and Nevada and visited quite a few states, a few countries and some islands...and have not encountered the same share-all-your-business-with-a-stranger conversations like we have in Texas. Literally, people seem to have no reservations about talking very loud and talking about there personal business to where strangers can hear. However, the flip side is we've met some very nice, friendly, God fearing people as well, so overall we like it here. Will just take some getting used to I suppose. read more
