We had perfect weather so sat outside on their patio, had a really lovely waitress taking our orders, and served up some pretty delicious food. I got the mahi mahi tacos and they were pretty great. Lots of fish and the verde salsa had so much flavor. I think the fish was just a bit overcooked, so I will probably try something else on my next visit, but still loved my meal. We got some churros for dessert and oooooh man they were good. Piping hot and filled with a caramel or dulce de leche sauce that was so tasty. Perfect cap to to a great meal. We'll be back! Some tips: They have a big parking lot in the back, and I will say it again, BYOB and have them turn it into margs for the table.

The food was flavorful and presented in an eye-catching way, so we both appreciated that. We were never offered water refills and she never asked us if we wanted a drink until after our meals came. We didn't, but it was said with a huge sigh and eye-roll. As a side note, this was a grown woman waiting on us, like an abuela, not a teenager. She never came back to our table, until she saw another waitress come over and bring us boxes for leftovers - that we had to go to the bar to ask for. I liked the Jose's rice The black beans needed something to elevate the flavors so I mixed them with the rice and it was a great combination. Serving size is good and great for the price.
