I went in to have maintenance that we've been whittling away at done on my vehicle. Their prices are very, very reasonable. And everything is always top quality. They double-check their work before the vehicle is even given to their customer. They're very kind and they are happy to help us get our vehicles in tip top shape without charging an arm.And a leg. They are the nicest mechanics I have ever worked with. Because they don't treat me as a woman. They treat me as an equal, and I very much appreciate that. read more

Avery's Auto was recommended to me back in 2021 by another repair shop. Since that time, I have continued to use this facility. Eric has always been up front with me on every service, from estimates to work done. Prices for service is good. Would recommend to friends and family. read more

12/29/2025 Outstanding service! I called this morning and spoke with Eric, about a broken daytime running light. Within a minute, Eric told me that it would cost about $60 to replace and that he could have it done that afternoon. As expected, he was as good as his word. Thanks once again Eric! You are the best! If only everything else in life ran as smoothly as a visit to Avery's, I would always be happy! read more

This was my first experience with them. I called them early afternoon and they said it would take a couple of days, but, I booked anyway and had my vehicle towed to them. They looked at it immediately and had it fixed and ready to pick up that same afternoon. Awesome service! read more

I had a persistent issue with my vehicle's EVAP system. The service was professional and transparent. Eric quickly identified the root cause and clearly explained the repair process and associated costs before proceeding. Also, a thoroughly inspection was performed on my vehicle and 2 additional issues were found and addressed as well. The repair was completed efficiently, and my check engine light, which had been on for weeks, is finally off. I highly recommend visiting Avery's Auto Repair. They continue earning my future business. read more

Took my long neglected F-150 to Avery for catch up scheduled maintenance. The estimates were spot on and they got me in quickly. The work was excellent, slightly less $$ than estimated, and done on time. My truck drove like it was new again; it's obvious that their people care about doing a job well. Highly recommended! read more

I have been using Averys for over 6 years and haven't been disappointed by them at all! I wasn't sure about about when my spark plugs needed to be changed but Eric looked up my vehicle history and had the answer for me. I have a tight schedule and they always seem to get my vehicles serviced and inspected in minimal time! Another great visit! read more

I can't say enough good about Avery's Auto Repair! The staff at Avery's are professional, courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. The shop is spotless, clean and welcoming. Very comfortable waiting area and honest reasonable rates. Workmanship is first rate!! You won't go wrong here. read more

We've had to bring our son's truck here a couple of times and they always seem to do good work. They call when they say they are going to call, they tell you what the issue is and quote what it takes to get it done. I don't know how they compare on price to other shops as I haven't done that comparison, but they are definitely cheaper than the dealerships. If you need an honest and reliable repair shop, I would recommend trying Avery's. read more

After taking my vehicle elsewhere and having a bad repair done (and paying more than I did at Avery's, by the way!) Avery's ultimately fixed my vehicle. They took the time to thoroughly ensure that things were functioning properly despite the complications of it. I will be returning for future repairs and also referring others. read more

Timing issue solved by Avery Auto. Averys has been my choice for auto repairs on all my vehicles. Great service, prompt repair time, fair pricing, and knowledgeable staff. Avery has come thru for me once again! read more

I took my car to Avery's for control arm replacement which should have included an alignment as well but their alignment machine was down. They said they'd call when it was back up. They never called. In the meantime, my rear passenger tire blew out on my way to work a month ago; the damage was on the inner wall of the tire. I called & made an alignment appointment for this past Friday & was told I needed new tires cuz they were worn on the inside part of the tire; same as the 1 that blew out. They offered to price tires for me & I said no. They left me alignment pricing of $439 where I had been sitting while I was in the bathroom. I just scheduled an appointment with Firestone for tomorrow for tires & alignment; the alignment there costs $230 for LIFETIME. My son, who is a mechanic, told me I could have ruined my AWD by driving on tires of a different tread for the past month as well. DON'T GO TO AVERY'S IF YOU WANT GOOD CARE FOR YOUR CAR. read more

Service is excellent and unlike dealerships, no surprises and if something needs to be ordered, it's done within a day, not a week or two as I've experienced at my dealership. The quality of service and professionalism is outstanding and something I didn't know existed any longer. Excellent service, customer service and mechanics are first class. read more

For the past several years we have taken our cars to Avery's for service. We make appointments and let them do what's needed. We have never been disappointed in their service. Multiple dash lights were going off, and things looked grim. Averys could have tried to sell me on an electrical harness overhaul, or blundered through multiple fixes trying to nail the problem down. Instead they immediately checked the gas cap and told me right away it was a minor issue. I was impressed by their honesty, knowledge and evidence-based diagnostic approach. They also did some other maintenance that went fine. read more

Moving across the country (San Diego to Virginia!), our AC stopped working. We stopped somewhere else and it ended up being more work - so they suggested Avery's. Avery's not only took great care of our car, they let us basically move into their waiting room (with our cat!) for a few hours. Originally they weren't sure if they could do the whole job in a day, but since we wanted to be back on the road and couldn't afford to delay another night they were able to move things around and get us all wrapped up. Even gave us snacks for the road! While they were working, and almost done, they noticed an additional fan that was going out. They took everyone out again to replace the fan and only charged us for the part - no labor. Everyone who walked into the waiting room was greeted warmly and like a friend. We don't live in the area, but it seems like everyone who comes here for their car is taken great care of. read more

My friends recommended Avery Auto as they'd been taking their cars/trucks there for 20+ years. I called & spoke with Eric, I explained what was going on with my Subaru. I took my car in the next day, they determined the issue, called me with the details & estimate, told me the parts would arrive later that day & my car would be ready the next day. By 9:52am the next day my car was ready. Eric explained what had been done & told me there is a 3 year warranty on labor & lifetime on the parts. Awesome service, they have a new & happy customer! read more

Took great care of my old and new Wrangler Eric at Avery's Auto Repair took excellent care of my 2007 Wrangler with 150,000 miles for many years. We recently traded it in and purchased a 2021 Wrangler with 40,000 miles from a Honda dealer in Tempe. The previous owners had traded it in on a new Honda. Although the 2021 Jeep looked to be in excellent condition we had no idea of its past service history so we took it to Avery's and asked them to go through it. Eric did a full inspection and replaced the air filter and cabin air filter which were dirty. He said everything else checked out fine. The Honda dealer in Tempe said that he changed the engine oil but I was not confident that he did so I told Eric to change that, too. I now feel comfortable knowing that Avery's has performed all of the inspections and scheduled maintenance that were due for this vehicle. The cost for all this was $160...well worth it for peace of mind. Avery's has never overcharged us nor upcharged us on any work. Eric and his mechanics are always very polite and friendly. They are our number one choice for keeping our vehicles in great running condition. Thank you Eric and Avery's Auto Repair. read more

Very professional, not expensive, and timely service! Took our car in because it would not recognize the gear was in Park so it would not stop sounding alarm. Avery's mechanics had problem fix within a few hours! read more

Our service was very good and charge reasonable. Didn't try to inflate what was needed which was much appreciated. Our mechanic was excellent at communication. He explained what needed to be done and after completed, explained exactly what was done and why. He was also very pleasant and respectful. I dropped off my car in the morning, and was able to pick it up by end of day. read more

went above and beyond. I am a 22yr old teenage girl and know NOTHING about cars. It started blinking 3 lights and I panicked. I took my car to 2 auto shops and they both quoted me about $1200 in repairs and labor. When I took it into Avery's they immediately knew the issue. A coil was completely missing and by simply putting it back on he saved me over $1000! They could have taken advantage of me like the last 2 shops but Avery's has done hard honest work. I 100% recommend taking your car to Avery's Auto Repair. The service there is phenomenal! read more

Absolutely love this place. Responsive and will go the extra mile to get you what you need. Thanks to Erik and his team!

I am so glad that I can rely upon Avery Auto for being able to make an appointment on short notice when I had a break in schedule. Not to mention I made my appointment on their website, and choosing a date and time, too! They didn't make me wait 2 weeks like the dealership does. Friendly, sincere, and kind customer service, too. read more

Great service. Great location in the Rita Ranch area. Reasonable rates!

Discovered this place by word of mouth. I was an avid take your car to dealership to have things done. Oil changes at dealership made me wait 2 hour on average. This place I waited 20 min tops, and I was a walk in! I actually got to talk to Greg the mechanic who worked on my car. Yeah that's right no service manager middle man. Clean waiting area and very clean shop. The price of oil change was a few dollars cheaper too. Try this place out and ask for Greg, and you can actually have more time of the day to yourself. Very pleased with service. read more

Fast and honest service. I initially needed a new gas tank due to a puncture in my old one that wasn't repairable. They went above and beyond to find me a good used tank as they don't make new ones for my vehicle. Fast repair as promised. I had them look at a few other issues I was concerned about. They provided me with an estimate and when I returned to have the work done, they discovered a few of the quotes items that were actually non issues. Most mechanic shops would not have been as honest as this shop is. read more
