Went here on a Sunday afternoon. They still had a brunch menu (not big fan) but the place had a nice ambiance inside so I was willing to give it a try. There was a few hiccups with the service - at first when ordering a hot coffee received an iced frappe. I then ordered brunch burger which stated it came with "homemade fries". When I received my burger, it had roasted potatoes with peppers. I asked the manager about the discrepancy because I thought it came with French Fries (otherwise I would have asked to substitute), she apologized and said it is a "misprint" on the menu and misleading because it should say home fries instead of homemade fries. She corrected the problem for me though and gave me a side of French Fries and didn't charge me, so I was appreciative. I would have accepted the home fries after the explanation but appreciated the extra effort. The burger was cooked to my liking and had good flavor. The tzatziki spread tasted good but the pita came burnt. I would have gave 3 stars but gave an extra one for the manager correcting the two issues. Waitress was making my wife feel rushed to order her food. When we did order she didn't even ask what we wanted to drink, I had to stop her from rushing off just to get the drinks in. We were seated at an open window eating. A couple of guys were just seated outside at a table directly in front of a No Smoking sign. When I brought up my issue with the hostess she told me that it was an allowed location. How when there's clearly a sign not too. So I show her the NYC restaurant Smoke free air act she doubles down on it being ok. I recently had dinner with a classmate at Avenue Restobar. I had been there in the past and it was ok. My recent experience was phenomenal. The place is pretty. There was nice Christmas decor. The staff was great. The greeter was nice. The waitress was amazing. She was attentive and checked on us often. Multiple staff members checked on us, on our drinks, on our food and even pushed another table over for us to have more space. A manager also checked in with us. The level of attention was superb, unexpected and was performed in a very tasteful and unobtrusive manner. There was a prefix menu. The items on it were very tasty and it included an appetizer, entree and dessert. There was a happy hour special, but I chose to get an espresso martini, which was tasty at $18. I believe the Prefix menu was $34.95 and runs Monday to Thursday. The highlight for me was the molten chocolate cake. The crispy calamari was also good and the hummus stayed long after the starters. Avenue Restobar was definitely a surprisingly enjoyable experience. From the food to the staff, my compliments and thanks. If you are trying to choose from the many options on this strip and it is a Monday-Thursday and you don't choose this place, I believe that you are doing yourself a huge disservice. read more

Eddy was fantastic he was our host for a Bachelorette party, and omg was another level. He organized the party in less than an hour fantastic decorations, balloon, and fire sticks .. Ilir was taking care of our table and make sure we are having our glass filled. The food was so tasty and dress we had pizza, burgers and Fried calamari, for drink champagne and shots !! If you want your party be remembered by years talk to Eddy and rest assured he will take care of your event. I didn't see cheese listed on the menu for the pasta. They brought it out with a pile of parmesan. I know I should've clarified beforehand but menus usually list what has dairy and this didn't. Bottomless brunch is 90 minutes, you can switch drinks but we each stuck with the white sangria. They made sure to bring one last one before the 90 minutes was up! Maybe ordering risotto at a Greek restaurant wasn't a good option but every other plate after was just as bad. Probably the most bland and unseasoned food I've ever had in my life which is a shame because the place itself is beautiful. There was a sweet woman walking around who I believe was the owner.
