Horrible nail dipping service by the lady that runs this place. She burnt my skin 3x and cut one cuticle then she didn't even clip my nails. I should have listened to my instincts and walked out. I screamed at the first time she burned me with her drill. NEVER again.... there are so many much better nail salons

If you haven't visited here recently, go, they have updated their salon and it looks really nice. I have been going here for years and I've always had an excellent experience. The husband and wife owners are friendly. They offer gel and regular nail polish. I think they may have more services like eyebrows but not positive I have only gone for a pedicure and manicure.

My thumbs were good, but the index fingers and ring fingers and my right middle finger look uneven and with bubbles..

The service and friendly attitudes was great - they were accommodating to my comfort level. The quality could be better though. I walked in today being the only customer there and the much older lady (granny age) did an amazing job on my basic pedicure $30.00 plus add the gel French tip $15.00 = $45.00 The younger lady (mom age) was the one I spoke to over the phone before I showed up and at the front when I walked in. Before she did my nails, she said she would give me a discount.. She did acrylic French tip with gel nails = $45.00 While she was doing my nails, she spoke to granny a lot and at some point the tool hurt one of my fingers but that I didn't mind as she was aware and understood the situation so was gentler for the remainder of time she did my nails. But she talked as fast as she was working on my nails. Almost like she didn't pay attention to closer details. I am sad and disappointed that the acrylic French tip with gel nails was done so quickly and some of the nails seem like they are very uneven. Couple of the nails have bubbles in it that I can see. And the way it became shaped it just doesn't even look right. I don't think I will come back here again, but do appreciate granny and their time. I paid $100.00 total but feel like it should have been 70 total.

Wish I could give a 0 star review, horrible experience for some BASIC work. Asked for a manicure and the lady did theM in 10 MINUTES. Didn't cut cuticles left paint all on my hands. On top of being unprofessional. She would start to paint my nails get up go outside and talk in the phone. Would come back in do a little more work then get back up to go outside. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

My daughter got her nails done for the first time. She literally had a picture and show them what she wanted. They said they could and the product that came out was terrible. I cannot believe how sloppy and messy they did her nails. It was horrible. She had a horrible experience, and I will never go back there again.

So last night I got my nails done by here and let me tell you. My experience with this place was so upsetting. I went in and they told me ok sit here and he'll do your nails, This older gentleman. I said ok so I took out my phone and showed him what I want. I said French tip but not white. Can I please have Royal blue. He said yes ok yes I can do. So he does my nails and starts to put this pink acrylic on. I go wait what's that? Cause it was making my nails pink. I go no I want it clear. First off he doesn't even ask if I want clear or pink just assumes and put it on my nails. He said oh it's natural look ok and continues with the other fingers. I said no I want it clear, keeps going says yes it will be ok. Natural look ok. I'm like hmmmm starting to get upset. Then he's done putting the pink acrylic on and pulls out this two blues. Now I'm like wait I don't think that's not nail polish?!?! He said yes. So he put this what looks like paint for a shirt and puts it in this little machine and starts spraying my fingers. I go uhhhh it's not right he keeps going and says yes it'll be when I'm done. So he continues and at the end tells me go wash my hands and I come back thinking he's gonna do something else to make it what I ask for and nope. He's done. I was so mad, I didn't even wanna sit and wait for my friend to finish hers. I just asked her for the keys and sat in car to calm down cause at this point I was livid. Long story short, do not go to this man in this place he clearly doesn't know what he's doing. I mean who spray paints nails now? It's not even nail polish it was paint you put on a shirt with the paint gun and all. And the shit didn't even wash off my fingers took forever to get that paint off my fingers. Yeah save your $ and don't go to him wait for the other lady's cause clearly he needs new job. Smh still upset but lesson learned. I definitely learned from this lesson. I don't even wanna give them a star but you have to in order to post so 1 star it is.

Came here for a deluxe pedicure (45 min package) which includes 10 min massage. I came in and they were really slow. i was excited because I thought for sure they would take extra care of me. False! I believe it was the owner who did my nails. She barely cleaned my nails, the massage was less than 5 min. She kept getting up and answering calls and helping a customer buy a gift card she was done within 35 min. Plus she did a horrible job.

This is how they let me walk out and still charged me for a pedicure....lol

DO NOT COME HERE. Okay. I honestly HATE having to get my feet done by people...but I love my toes being done because everyone likes groomed toes.... So, I happen to be in the area and my bestfriend would come here when she used to love in North Highlands, so I came here and I would NOT reccomend this place. Ive never gotten such a bad gel pedi. First off, while getting my toes filed by a rough ass filer, she kept scraping my cuticle bed and my reflexes kept making me jerk my feet and she'd look at me like I was crazy because she didnt do anything wrong. Fast forward to my all white gel pedi...........it looked like my 7 year old daughter did my damn toes and painted all over my skin. Mind you, she was scraping the shit out of my toes trying to get the white off my skin around my toes......she knew she did a shit job because she kept looking back at my toes while she was doing my basic clear nail polish mani...but she still didnt care to ask if I was satisfied because it was clearly obvious...it was a shitty fucking job. So then I told her I just wanted it off and just a clear color. She took her damn drill and was rough as hell using her thumb nail to dig into my toe while she was drilling the white off my toes....then she put an uneven ass clear coat on it and just walked away....also, my right toe was stinging and she kept saying she didnt cut me... I know what the fuck I feel...and I felt my toe was stinging AND it wasn't like that before I walked in there. I'm sure they knew I wasn't happy because the guy was standing there as if I was just going to walk out and the other lady that did my daughter's pedi ran up to the register to ring me up..they still had the audacity to charge me for a basic pedicure. $49 for my basic mani/pedi ($12/$20) and my 7 year olds pedi ($17) I'm including photos. I left my pinky toe out on purpose bc yall dont need to see that side of me (lol, yes humor calms me) but nonetheless, this is unacceptable. I'm disputing this charge. It was pretty pathetic service.

I came here Wednesday to get acrylic on my toes and a pedicure! I forgot what lady did them but I'm beyond upset. It's only Friday & 3 of them already fell off. No aggression to the acrylic, they plain out fell off! This is my first and LAST time I'll be going somewhere I haven't visited before! I always go to another salon but they were closed & I needed them done ASAP. That was my fault for not waiting it out but I'm disappointed! Smh! I always do acrylic/fake nails on ALL my toes because it give it a more fancier vibe but anyways, from my point of view & opinion, this place is not for me! I was in Antelope visiting the parentals and stopped at La Belle to get my nails and toes done but they said 45 min. Noone has time for that... So I went across the parking lot and found this gem. They got down on my pedi and even gave me ice tea when I was waiting. So here I am in a new place, ice tea in hand, in a massage chair getting my nails and toes done at the SAME TIME. I am not going to lie, I felt like a queen :). It wasn't even my Bday!!!! Talk about an amazing experience not to mention the PRICE WAS HALF as LA Belle. Do me a favor, don't wait and walk across the parking lot to relax and enjoy a wonderful day of pamper you deserve. read more

If Could give this place zero stars I definitely would. I went in today for a gel pedicure and the start of my visit was okay (aside the fact that the two employees did not have a mask on). Towards the end of my pedicure I asked if she was done because I noticed small details that needed to be fixed. She proceeded to tell me she wasn't done yet and she can tell I am picky (just judging me for no reason, I have never been to this salon prior) Once she finished there were several nails that still needed fixing. As I pointed them out to her she interrupts me and states "I have been working on you for too long over an hour already I'm not going to fix anything else if You don't like I will take off" Let's also keep in mind it's Thursday morning this salon has 0 customers waiting. She was RUDE and raised her voice and I told her this is poor customer services not matter how long it's taking to do someone's toes. I ONLY ASKED FOR WHITE GEL TOES. That's it, nothing extravagant! Overall the ladies who did our pedicures was super nice and did a great job. As for my fill with a broke nail was a waste of money. The manager did my nails and she was rushing and was rough. The nail she fixed and charged me popped off the next day. The gel French manicure was sloppy with smudges and bubbles. It's obvious from the other reviews I read that this nail place is only good for pedicures. Wouldn't come here again. read more

Greeted with a smile possibly by the owner but service sucked!!!! 51.00 for a fill colored powder acrylic. Dude did a horrible job was super negative when I asked him to shorten the length. Didn't even clean the glitter off or fix the bubbles. Definitely will not be back read more

I have used this spa numerous times in the past, and loved the services. This last visit performed by a male employee was terrible. We walked in the door and we Disturbed his phone call and was told we only have one girl, we said we would wait. I never have seen him do any type of services, just there. Why did he attempt to do my services? Is he even licenced, I will be checking with DCA. He never spoke a word to me, never said you are done, the water was cold, the hot stones BURNT my feet. The menu stated services take 45 minutes, 30 minutes he just up and walked away. After spending over$1,000 in services, with the female employees not including tips, time to go elsewhere. read more

I've been here a handful of times years ago. There service was ok. Nothing to brag about. I decided to try it again. Went in for a pedicure. The place was empty. Only 2 customers in there. I sat in the chair and the lady started working on me. Was I not only disappointed, but was really mad at the end. The lady cut and scraped the top of my left foot. She pumiced the tops of my feet. Who does that?!? My foot was bleeding the whole time was working on it. She said sorry, but the manager just brushed it off. She patted my foot with lotion and it made it seem like no big deal. I paid. No tip. Walked out. I will never come back again. Hopefully my foot doesn't get infected. read more

This was my 3rd visit. The first two times I had no issues..friendly and great job on my nails. This last time, today I was greatly dissapointed. The nail tech placed acrylic on my nails, then went straight to the buffing block , no Dremel, no file. Like what? Then said go wash. I'm like she can't be finished... I'm looking at my nails like what? Se veral steps of finishing, and smoothing were not done. I hate complaining so I just asked her to smooth the dough spots, so she finally used the Dremel. I was already eating into my lunch hour so I couldn't ask her to redo them. She then proceeded to polish and left them gloppy! So I have unfinished, rough, jagged, early gloppy nails. To top it off, she was so unfriendly! Really unhappy and going elsewhere mto get a real tech to fix them read more

Fast, affordable, and great nail shaping. I didn't have an appointment but they were packed because its the day before easter but they took me anyways and got me and everyone else in and out within an hour very happy with my gel fill for $35 definitely going back thanks ava nails. read more

Update! Son responded to my review and it was all a lie!!! I did not get ombré it was a regular short acrylic set and I even brought my own nail polish. I was extremely nice to the worker and she was the only one there! Ta crazy how much these people lie!!! They are scam artist and do not know how to do nails. This place needs to be shut down ASAP. It's a terrible nail place please save your money and go somewhere else. These people are gross and do not know how to even do the simple task of nails. Their nail license is probably fake. No wonder it was empty when I arrived. read more

Super cute inside. Not a lot of space to walk past the pedicure chairs the way they have it set up. Went in and took my son to get pedicures. Decided I was not paying for his after I looked at his toes. They yelled at me saying I have to pay. I told them to get down and look. See the pictures, they speak for themselves. Never going back. Super unprofessional and a crap job. Nice lady that did her best on mine but not even close to the pictures I showed her for reference. I chose the white background. read more

I came in for a mani/pedi without an appointment. They took me right away. The location is clean and the chairs comfortable. (The location I usually go to was closed today) They did a pretty good job (the polish on one of my toes is already chipped) I don't know if I will go back to have them repaint. It's winter and I'm not showing off my toes. When I come for a pedicure I want to relax. To me, that means a quiet location. I don't need a television. (They have at least two blaring with the same movie) also, two of the employees kept chattering, giggling and showing things on their cellphones to each other. One of them was the one giving me the pedicure. They were loud. Unfortunately I had forgotten my headphones. I would have stuck those in and listened to some soothing music. I'm on the fence about returning. I hope they read reviews. read more

I can't believe all the bad reviews about this place lol I've never had an issue coming here even since before they remodeled from Wonder Spa into Ava. I just want to thank Sun/Son for my beautiful nails. He takes his time doesn't rush or halfast his work and he talks to you Diana does my pedicures and she does an awesome job! She takes her time too and always makes sure I'm comfortable. They also have a wide selection of regular nail Polish and gel Polish which I love! I even read the reviews on the manager every time I go in she is just walking around looking at what the employees are doing lol and she's usually has her headphones on with her tablet. Let the workers be they are doing a great job if we have an issue we will let you know lol. I will keep returning. read more

THIS LOCATION IS NOT CLOSED!!! So after reading a few of the reviews, I must say this place is not being fairly portrayed at all. First off, you have to understand these mom and pop type nail salons and the culture behind them. They are maybe not the top in customer service since I see a lot of complaints about the owner but that's not their intention to come off as scary and rude. They're just old fashioned with the way they run their business and it's either you get it or not. They are straight up and you need to just not take it personal. I know you are asking for a service and you expect to be treated well and that's what they do. I have been coming here with my sisters and dad for years and have come to know the owners quite well and they are HARD WORKING, HUMBLE, and NICE PEOPLE. I love all the professional manicurist that work there! Best place to get a pedicure! Reasonably priced and super quite and relaxing! You select your pedicure option and then they get straight to work! I love how caring and sweet they each are. They genuinely care for their customers. They always have a movie playing and they have the best massage chairs ever! Lots of nail color polish to choose from and they offer water or tea! THEY HAVE REMOLDED!!!!! And let me say, the salon is upgraded and truly gorgeous. They really have stepped this place up and I love it even more. It's brighter, fresher, and way more modern! Give this place a try! Don't listen to the reviews unless you come in for yourself! 5 out of 5! I'll be a customer forever! read more

My nails look horrible! Im getting married on Sunday and my nails look AWFUL. I have had my nails done at different nail salons and never ever have I been treated this way. It seemed like the lady who did my nails was in a hurry. It wasn't until I brought up how horrible my cuticles looked, and how horrible the nail polish looked. They look like they werent professionally done. Who would even want these nails on their wedding day? She didn't deserve the 5$ tip I gave her. I wish I could give this place zero stars, but yelp doesn't allow that. I'm never coming back here ever again. read more

I have lived in this community for 9 years and on special occasions would have my nails done here. Today my daughter wanted them to remove fake toe nails on her big toe for sports reasons and they couldn't do it. Instead they sandpapered it down , repainted them and did a horrible job. I will post a picture so you all can see what we paid for $17 after paying $25 the first visit. Not so happy customer. read more

Took my daughter here to get her nails done and Kim ,not the owner is what I was told, the lady as soon as you walk in did a horrendous job. She lied about owning the shop. My daughters nails were crooked and not the right size. The thumb and 4 other nails weren't even to the edge and more than a few were crooked. We went back in to ask about them and were told "her nails were trash" and "you don't need to tell me what's wrong". Customer service is beyond bad and work is not worth paying for. The nail polish was uneven and not even to the edge. The worst people and work we have found so far. After arguing for about 25min and being refused a refund multiple time the owner Kim threw $20 at me a told me "just go". I told her she charged $30 and was told " that's all you get now go away". So unbelievable! read more

I walked in on Friday the 15th and asked for a full set of acrylics with gel. I was seated quickly which made me excited for good customer service. Instead I was given terrible nails. My nails are lumpy, jagged, poorly painted, and just generally bad. Not only are my nails bad, but the woman who did my nails rushed through the entire process. Painted nails so quickly that I was left with bubbles in my nails, with nail polish that looked incredibly old as it was peely, sticky, and lumpy. At the end she charged me $50 for them and they looked terrible! I will NEVER be back!! read more

The worst experience I've ever had at a nail shop. Came in day before my c section to get a mani/pedi. The lady that did my pedicure did an awesome job and was so kind. Meanwhile someone started working on my manicure. I came with long nails she didn't ask what I wanted just started chopping my nails off. Midway the lady that works the front desk took over. She did such a horrible job. Every time I told her I didn't like what she's doing she kept ignoring me. My nails turned up horrible and the way she painted my nails with gel just looks so bad. Everything is closed and now I'm stuck with these nails for the next few weeks. read more

Amongst walking in the owner, manager whomever she is was RUDE. I asking the prices of things, and she said, "You don't like then you go somewhere else." As she went back to watching her iPod. Then, I started off with Kayla filing my nails and then another customer came in for a full set, and so they made me sit and wait for another woman to do my nails. Well after sitting with Vivian and her giving me all of my options, I went with a gel powder and my nails came out great! The owner comes and says, "Aren't you glad you stayed and paid?" I told her that she was very unprofessional and rude, and I'd rather her not speak to me because money was never the problem. Vivian was pleasant, and has been doing nails for over 17 years and it reflects in her nails. read more

I went in thinking I was going to relax while getting a pedicure. I also wanted gel manicure. Well they did both at same time balancing gel dryer on leg. It was NOT relaxing at all. Will not tell them I want both mani pedi at same time read more

Well they started off very nice. Pedi was going very well! The girl doing my toes was doing an awesome job. As she is wiping the lotion off my legs. Two other women walked in. The owner walked over said something to the girl doing my toes, made her move. Then the owner preceded to wipe my legs off really quick, slapped polish on my nail and told me bye. She then hurried off to the ladies that just walked in to help them. Needless to say, I'm so not happy with this place. I have been here a few times and have been very happy. I did quit having my nails done here because they would come off with in a week of having them done. This was the last straw! I'm writing this review from my car in the parking lot....... read more

Don't do it..there's a reason there is never a wait here. I am guilty of continually going here because everywhere else has a wait. If you are just interested in gettin in and out don't really care about relaxing pedicure or friendliness or possible lack of cleanliness then take your chances. The majority of the girls are friendly and do a nice job but, if you end up with the female owner be prepared for a rushed and very unpleasant experience. She is quite rude and clearly has not interest in actually doing nails. My visit was recently during covid still she was only option none of the girls are working. She was so rushed (nobody else waiting mind you) that she cut my big toe then proceeded to put nail glue on the cut ouch! My toe is now infected. There were no sorries or anything to follow. If 0 stars were an option that's what I would give this place. I will say all the other girls I've had here have been very pleasant and done a nice job. If female owner is your only option RUN. read more

I had the most horrible experience. The salon is dirty & cluttered, but the restroom was inexuseably filthy. Then the tv program posted on both sides of the salon had a movie that had ongoing profanity. Can't believe their tools and pedicure baths are any better. read more

Do not go here !!!! Went the first time and walked out due to I'm assuming the owner.. The lady that sits right in front. She was very blunt and rude! She was counting money and said pick your color and we were asking her other questions and she just said pick your color. While counting the money , as if we didn't matter! Then after being very rude just with the way she talked, we walked out. Only bad thing was, I had a gift certificate so I knew I had to use it and they wouldn't give me the money back for it. So a week later I decided to go back with my friend and just hoped maybe that was just a bad day for that lady. Well nope ! The lady was very short and sooo bossy to her employees that it was awkward. The pedi wasn't even that good ! Not worth it. And then they serve you iced tea or water, well my friend got done and she had to go sit elsewhere. Well they took her tea ! We assumed they thought it was someone else's. Well no, it's a way to rush you out it seems like. When she was done with my pedi, she told me to sit there for 5 min to dry, well she took my tea at that point, like the tea is only allowed when they are working on you ! Weird ! And I asked for eyebrow wax, well they rushed me out so fast that they didn't even do that before they started working on someone else, so I didn't get it done! It's all cramped in there and dirty as well! Color selection was minimal. Also , they wanted to charge an extra $20 just for the gel color! Will never go back and wish nobody else has to go through that ! read more

I came to this established nail salon yesterday to get a gel manicure and my manicurist was very professional, sweet, and she did a fantastic job. Her name was Sydney - I recommend requesting her and (based on reviews and what I saw) try not to take it personal if some of the scheduling staff is a little abrupt. I look forward to getting a pedicure here soon, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is relaxing. read more

Horrible and dirty! My Mom and I went in for pedicures and manicures. You would think included in these would be to clean up your cuticles. Not the case, I had to tell the lady to shape them. She asked me if I wanted them cut, I said no just filed, i had to show her how to file them even! I still have in- grown toe nails! The nail polish I picked out had bubbles by the time I got home. I called my mom to ask how her manicure was doing and she said she had to take off their polish and redo them herself! So embarrassing to me because just a couple of years ago I was recommending this place to every one I know. Big rip off, big disappointment, and, when I told her about the cuticles, she cut me and applied a blue liquid to my toe, it burned, and now I'm not sure what it was she put on me, what if I was allergic to it. Horrible. The place is old, dirty and disgusting. I wish I could take pics for all of you to see. While I was getting my manicure, the girl ripped off my skin around my nails to the point that it started bleeding. On top of that, she put a bunch of other chemicals them which made them sting and hurt even worse. To apologize she did awkwardly giggled. My nails now have red inflamed areas where she ripped off my cuticles. This was the first mani I didn't enjoy. With so many other nail salons I don't see why would anyone go here unless they didn't see how nasty this place is! read more

Poor quality $25 "premium" manicure. Asked for 1 coat polish, 2 coats top coat. Was told to put my own 2nd coat of topcoat tomorrow . But damn... Next day I have hang nails and peeling polish, before I even had time to put MY OWN 2nd topcoat on. Very disappointing!!! read more

When "cleaning up" my lashes, she would pinch my eyelid at least once causing me to tense up. It was so awful, I've never experienced this before. 3. She would rarely fill every lash as she only filled what she could in one hour maximum. Rarely, did my lashes look like a volume set. I felt like I was just a number to her, trying to fit as many clients as possible into her schedule in one day. If you prefer efficiency over quality products, exquisite customer service, quality looking lashes, I recommend Ashley.

I told her how they fell out and we came to the conclusion that I am a side sleeper. Again, I really was happy with the outcome. I was positive I did not roll onto my side this time while sleeping. I even wore a neck roll. But within 5 days more than half my lashes were gone. I really like Genesis, and most importantly I was extremely happy with how my lashes looked. Unfortunately, they just didn't last long enough. Lash fills are just too expensive and time consuming to have to come back every few days so I will have to find a new lash place.

HORRIBLE customer service! They are VERY rude! Spend your money else where, like at another shop to those who will appreciate your money & service! My friend & I went with her little sister & they led us to the chairs for pedi's & they left me sitting there for 40 minutes! Did not say one word to me. My water got really cold & when I finally received service, they put more water in, but it was still cold. Not to mention, they cut my friend's little sister's toe nail side ways, but they said no, her toe is just crooked... like how rude! To top it off, my friend had a mani too & her lady was very nice, so she tipped her cash & they lady who did her toes freaking argued with her about splitting the tip! Like seriously!? So disrespectful! I did not tip & I don't feel bad for it. A tip is deserved through great customer service & they were absolutely horrible. I'm still in shock that one lady argued over the tip. Needless to say, it was an extremely bad experience & we will NEVER go back there again! I cannot emphasize that enough! read more

Kim is the rudest person I've ever experienced at a nail salon. She told me she didn't have time to fix one nail. BUT could do a full set?! What kind of since is that. Then refused my business after I said "Ok I'll take a full set. They do half ass work. Your nails will be bubbly and crooked. Very unprofessional always eating or talking on the phone WHILE doing your nails. Kim is the lady that sits in the first chair PLEASE pick someone else to do your nails if you do decide to go here.
