Pavi was great. Nice new clean shop in Antelope. She offers many services besides threading. $6 for eyebrows is great! I came in and sat in a chair. She cleansed my brows then got to work. Occasionally I had to hold my skin tight which was fine. After she did both sides 2x she then trimmed my brows overall which was great cuz they were long!! She has u check on a handheld mirror the result. I went to the desk and paid. She added me to her email list for promotions, coupons, etc. Very nice customer service!! You should go back every 2-4 weeks depending on your skin and hair. read more

Ive been here about 8 times, but only actually hot my eyebrows.done about 2. Why? Because everytime I go there during business hours they are closed. It's been an ongoing problem and a waste of.my drive everytime.Yes, she does.do a good job at eyebrows but not worth my wasted time and insufficient business hours. Its hit or miss if there is anybody even in the shop. Good luck read more

Great set-up with exceptional service! Pleasantly surprised with slight brow massage after my eyebrow threading. Owner is kind and courteous. I love that I'm able to book an appointment on-line, unlike others that I've been to and then am having to wait in my car in the parking lot for an hour (true story- 3 times so lesson learned!). A Star Threading has my business and now I'll be checking out her facials! read more

Best threading I have ever received. Her shop is set up in her garage and it is very nice and professional. It is not a normal "home shop" she was VERY good and very skilled! Normally I am super red and I am not sure how she prevented my skin from turning super red when I did a full face threading. Definitely recommend! read more

LOVE my 3D brows! I was really nervous about the pain and also concerned I might have an allergic reaction to the ink. They were really nice and offered to do a test cut (so to speak) behind my ear. They numbed it up really good and then did one cut and placed the ink on. Told me to wait 24 hours and if everything looked fine, I would be good to go. Everything was fine and that little cut hardly hurt at all (much to my surprise, especially since I have such a low tolerance to pain). The sound bothered me more than anything. It sounded like a metal fork being scraped against a rock! But at least I knew what to expect for the procedure. I had the 3D brows done two days later. She was really good at making sure I stayed nice and numb. She was very patient when I asked for a break a few times when it got a little too intense for me. Overall it really was not bad, and that's saying a LOT coming from me. She understood exactly what look i was going for and they turned out like what I wanted. I'm going back Sunday for my first touch up. Google the healing process and pictures so you know what to expect. Because your brows will literally go through all of the healing steps and some of them might freak you out ifyou didn't know it was normal. Just knowing it's part of the process will help ease your fears. The only thing I would ask them to do different, is to give us post-op instructions that match what they verbally tell us. The lady's husband gave me a post-op paper and then verbally told me "except actually do this". I thought I would remember, but once I got home and started looking through blogs and reading the 100 different ways to heal from this, I literally forgot what THEIR recommendations are. Other than that, I'd say I'm VERY happy with the outcome, the whole process, and how attentive and patient they were when answering all of my thousand of questions and addressing my fears. Don't be scared that their prices reflect poor work, because that's not the case. They have REALLY good pricing and I got really good results. UPDATE I'm not sure why Yelp has moved my review to the "hidden" section. This is as legit review of a great business that deserves it. read more

I called about 50 minutes before they were going to close to see if they had time, the girl on the phone enthusiastically assured me they most definitely would. I came and was welcomed in and didn't have to wait long at all before being seen. The young girl, I believe her name is Namrita or Samrita is the girl I would wholeheartedly recommend getting threaded by. Not only did she do a beautiful job, she didn't hurt me at all! The planning process from 2,000 miles away was definitely more than I originally anticipated when I decided to get married in Lake Tahoe. Not only did she listen intently, she gave me honest feedback and was able to reassure me in that planning process. Her personality is so bubbly and calming and you can tell that she is a genuinely happy person who loves making people feel beautiful. I ended up texting her ONE day before that my flower girls had changed their mind and now really wanted their hair done. No problem for Lea- not only did she accommodate this request last minute, but she handled their individual requests with such care that they and their mamma were all thrilled with the results. On my wedding day it rained off and on the ENTIRE day, and during the ceremony it literally started dumping and took me a couple minutes to secure an umbrella. Despite the weather, and my being outside for probably a total of 6 hours that day, my hair and makeup held flawlessly. I really don't remember giving her any directions for my make up other than "natural glam" and I have never ever in my entire life felt so beautiful. It was me- 100% - with an elegant touch. I can't really say enough. Weddings are emotional always, and my own personal journey was full of SO many feelings and Lea handled us all with such care and grace and really pulled it off. Not only are Jill and Jessie super gorgeous, but they're friendly and they really know how to make women beautiful. I hired Jill because she does airbrushing, which I loved because it was lightweight but lasted all day. Seriously my makeup was good from 10am to 12am even in the hot Sacramento summer heat. All my girls looked great and my moms loved their makeup too. What I love about Beauty Box is their makeup is flawless and leans towards natural. Not that they are opposed to dramatic. I received so many compliments on my make-up that day and am very impressed at the fact that my make-up stayed flawless for OVER 12 HOURS. But after 6 years no one not one technician has asked me that. I felt genuinely cared for during my experience and will continue to go to Tammy for as long as possible! I just get the basic pedicure it's about $35 now which is some of the typical filing/scraping/shaping stuff and exfoliation/leg massage and obviously a color. Which to me I thought was over priced for what it is. but at the end of the day I'm not there for all the fru fru extra stuff I just want soft hydrated skin some relaxed foot muscles and pretty toes! Everything was great we always really enjoy ourselves. They have massage chairs and a very clean environment. I appreciate that.
