I found out the hard way I was going to need a new alternator, I barely made it home, the battery went dead just as I parked. I had bought the battery at Advance, on the advice of the Techs at nearby Brakes Plus, another place I trust 200% to work on my auto! So, I bought a whole new battery, to go along with the new alternator install job. I brought the dead battery to Advance for the core credit $22. But, listening to my story, the staff said Let us try recharging it, and put my phone # on the battery. They said Come back a bit before we close if we don't call (these guys get very busy, lots of customers) I arrived later, the old battery now was fully charged again, so I will keep it, instead of the $22. In addition to that, I have already made payment for said work. Do not get me wrong Jeff seems like a great guy to the fullest but, totally had no control over his time frame, he over promised and under delivered with out a doubt. The biggest downfall for me is when I am told that it would take less than one day and it ended up taking FOUR DAYS at the shop. Definitely not acceptable! Especially when I had to keep calling asking when my truck would be ready. The work that has been done so far was not partially done correctly. If I'm going to spend more than $4.000! here I expect a good job. Every time I call I get the runaround and it is frustrating. Below is the work that was done which took 4 Days: - New AMP boards which took 3Hr. - Remove Air lift kit which took them 1Hr. - Adding New Tires. N/A on time - Adding a Light strip at the tail gate. 1Hr. As Jeff is turning in the truck to me 4 Days later, I spotted the following: - AMP board wiring hanging underneath the truck. - Amp board wiring hanging underneath brake paddle. - Light strip un leveled and connected incorrectly. Below is the said work that was not complete: - They NEVER added the bump stops which Jeff said he would! - Light strip installed incorrectly! - Here is a funny one. I raised my concern about the issue regarding the light strip not being strait. Jeff literally gave me double sided tape to what apparently he expected me to fix it. Since after Four days at the shop wasn't long enough he said to me "Hold the tape and bring it in next time and I will fix the connection also" I'll tell you one thing. If I have to bring my truck back literally after a week at the shop even AFTER PAYING! That is bad business... Here is another funny one, I am still waiting on that call from Jeff or Mark. He got my vehicle in for the inspection right away, even though they were busy, after the inspection he took me inside the work bay, so I could see what the issue was first hand. Because he knew the repairs would take a little while, the business provided a ride via Lyft to my house, after a few hours Steven G called to inform me that my repairs would take a little longer than expected, and that they would be keeping it over night. The next morning they called to inform me that the work was complete and ordered a Lyft from my house to Breaks Plus for me to pick up my vehicle. When I arrived, he went over the repairs again to ensure I understood what they did. As an added bonus, Breaks Plus gave me a military discount, that reduced my bill by a couple hundred dollars. All in all, I'd say that I was more than pleased with the service I received. I'm glad that I no longer have to listen to the "Que, Que, Que, sound as I'm driving down the road. To be clear, salesperson Michael Joyce was excellent--professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. I initially worked with him on Friday, March 20, and nothing that followed reflects on him. The issue arose in the finance office. After waiting roughly 3 hours, I met with the finance manager (forgot his name). Early in the conversation, he made inappropriate personal disclosures, including discussing his role as a pastor and firing an assistant pastor due to an incident/ military combat PTSD. This was unprofessional and irrelevant. I came in pre-approved through USAA at a competitive rate (my credit score is in the high 700s to low 800s). I made it clear I would only consider dealership financing if they could beat my terms. After reviewing their offer, I declined and chose to proceed with my own lender. At that point, the finance manager stepped away briefly, then returned and said they could no longer complete the deal, claiming the dealership would "lose $3,000" if I didn't use their financing. This contradicts the agreed-upon out-the-door price finalized with the sales team, including sales manager Ivan. The deal was effectively withdrawn solely because I refused their financing. This suggests the pricing was contingent on backend profit from financing--something that was never disclosed upfront. I would not recommend this dealership. Be cautious: agreed pricing may not be honored unless you accept their financing.
