My attendant helped me get what I needed with all the help I asked for. I had a bad racial experience prior to coming to this store. Advance auto Part on Pecan (1825 ) in Pflugerville is the most raciest store. But I recommended this store. The employees were very helpful. I don't remember their names. But they helped me out with a battery. I'm the guy that left his wallet at work. Had to run home and get cash. I highly recommend this store. THANKS GUYS read more

I stopped by this Auto zone, in a panic. My check engine light came on after getting an oil change (from a different company) - JOHN E., my guy! He walked me through the check engine light inspection, as they cannot enter customers cars anymore do to covid. He was very thorough and patient with me. He was able to help me determine the issue and what was needed. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to go above and beyond! It's definitely appreciated. read more

After purchasing a battery here 15 months ago the silly thing just up and died Sunday night. Great ! They battery was supposed to have a 3 year free replacement warranty. Being my cynical nature, i had visions of fighting and arguing and justifying getting my warranty claimed fairly accepted. Its been my usual experience that they would just claim it wasn't the battery but the cars alternator or some other excuse to F people over. Well that's not what happened. They tested the battery and confirmed that it was fried and would not even hold a charge when attempted. So basically they gave me another new battery with very little hubbub at all. I left feeling a lot better about not having to fight it out...and that kind of service and customer treatment will keep me coming back to Auto Zone for my auto parts needs in the future. Thanks guys. read more

If being ignored while waiting in line and being the only customer in the store is your thing. Then please by all means visit this Auto Zone. Walks in. Grabs exactly what I need. Goes to counter. Two guys at the registers talking. Look right at me. Start speaking to each other in Spanish - one walks off to the back- the other continues staring at the computer screen. No Hello Not one- how may I help you. No, are you ready to check out. No, ma'am may I help you find something? Etc... Nada. Nada damn thing. I tossed the item I had in hand - ready to purchase- onto the counter in front of the guy blatantly ignoring me and walked out. F U 2 Dude! Pflugerville Pfailed customer service. Major fail on their part. read more

The only reason I'm giving this a 5 star is because of the professional attitude Rayco Hill District Manager at AutoZone gave us. After the employees here had made a mistake n it cost me more to fix. Which shit happens. But the employees n manager at this point had already made me upset. When he called because he was so professional I didn't get upset. I stayed calmed. He actually listened n communicated the process he was going to take. He didn't talk to me crazy try to put fault on me. He actually got my story n his store employees story n then called me back. I didn't have to wait for days or hours he called me back asap. The store n the employees that work there I give zero stars. But Rayco I give 5 stars because how he handled the issue at hand. N the timely manner it was handled. Thank you. read more

John helped me the other day! He checked my battery and let me know it was time to get a new one. He was very informative as to why I needed a new one and went over all of the different options. He gave me space to make a decision and did not push the most expensive option down my throat. John also helped 4 people at one time. His attentive customer service seemed to be effortless. After I used the card machine to pay he made sure that I had sanitizer. He gave me instructions for the battery installation and helped me to my car. What a gentleman! Definitely will drive all the way from Round Rock to get this type of service again. read more

Store is always stocked, at least for the items I need, someone is always ready to help, the young man who helped me out on my last visit was super nice and patient with me... I had NO idea what I was doing or what the right product was! He looked it up, several times (I wasn't even sure about my cars year!!!) when he figures it out he helped me outside to put in the product. He really didn't have to.... and I'm so appreciative of him being so kind!! His name is Demitree... if you ever have the pleasure of being assisted by him you'll definitely agree! Why am I yelping about Vatozone? Well because its fan-freaking-tastic. I don't need to divulge how many Autozones I have visited in my life, but lets just say there are ones open 24/7 and I have most definitely hit those up on several occasions. O2 sensor out? I know where to go, what they do, & how flippin hard it is to remove from an old car! This Vatozone is ALWAYS my go-to and they help me with all my car needs. The prices are fair, they keep record of everything you buy for your car (in case you have forgotten you may have already replaced a part recently, hey it happens!) and they are far more knowledgable that you would ever expect. I recently took my car to an unidentified auto rip-your-ass-off shop, where they told me I needed a new battery. So begrudgingly I ventured on over to my trusty Vatozone. The guy could have easily scammed me and told me, "yep you need a new one, your mechanic was right." On record I have had the same one since 2007 (holy hell!) and my 3 year warranty was totally over. BUT he showed me that my battery was FULLY charged and that my cockamamie so called "mechanic" was completely bonkers and wrong. He said that if by chance, the battery dies again to bring it back and they would replace it, using my expired warranty. Knights of Columbus!! Now thats my kind of service. read more

I had occasion to visit Auto Zone in Pflugerville last night to buy a new battery and twice today as it sometimes goes when repairing your own car. I bought new battery terminal connectors today, and after putting them on I discovered that one of them didn't fit the terminal. I returned to AZ to get another better fitting one and was assisted by Juan. He showed me the tighter ones and allowed me to open the package and try it on another battery on the shelf. I was set to purchase the new connector but Juan went above and beyond the call by simply exchanging the two since they were the same price. I was happy to buy the new ones, only $3.99 but he exchanged them. That is what good customer service is all about. Juan is GREAT! read more

Hubby and I went to this Pflugerville location because we were told that our battery needed to be replaced. So we bought it and while installing John checked out the old one, said that it was a functioning battery and didn't need replacing. He actually returned our money and then did a quick check on the cables, alternator, starter etc. John's a whiz, so knowledgeable and went over and beyond by meticulously cleaning the corrosion around the battery. It's no wonder his name pops up so many times in these reviews. What a great guy, AutoZone is lucky to have him. I highly recommend him and this location. read more

John helped my boyfriend and I out with a battery issue. My boyfriend commented on how efficient he was when helping out other customers before he even began to help us with our problem. It's always refreshing when you receive both fast and great customer service. Thanks John! read more

Great service! Very helpful. We will continue to go to this Auto Zone in the future even though there is one closer to our home.

John was very helpful and quick with replacing my SUV battery that required an air duct to be moved out of the way first. I've lived near this Auto Zone for 13 years and they have been my go to store for my automotive needs. I've always experienced excellent and friendly service. read more

I know NOTHING about cars. Ask me where the oil pan is? Ask me where an exhaust is? Okay, exaggerating, but face it, we'll all ignorant when it comes to vehicles. Admittedly it was slow but the guy came out and helped me put on battery terminals and newly purchased thingy'ma'bobers that keep it from rotting again. Thank you. read more

I thought my battery was dead for sure! The auto zone guy tested my battery. He realized that it was just a bad terminal, replaced it. He didn't charge me (it was a loose spare in his tool box). All this was done in 10 minutes, with a smile. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Hop in my car. Turn the key. Nada. Battery's dead. Arrgghh! I have stuff to do! I can't fart around with car trouble! Dammit......... Get a jump from the maintenance guy. Head over to Auto Zone. Got waited on instantly. Luis tests the battery and establishes that it is, in fact, deceased. He sells me a new one for a good price and even installed it for me in about 15 minutes. He was pleasant and helpful. He even listened to me bitch a little about the pain of spending money I didn't expect to spend. On the road again, weekend saved. His boss should give him a raise. Great customer service! read more

I had a such good experience at AutoZone. We were helped by Toni who was the store manager. I just needed some windshield wipers for me and my fiancé. They helped us without any hesitation! Even though it started raining outside, he stayed out there and installed both of our wipers at no cost. They really are friendly, patient and kind. I highly recommend them because they know their stuff and will do anything to help! Thank you Toni for helping us! We appreciate you! read more

I understand we are in a pandemic and theirs a lot restrictions going on but being extremely rude with a nasty attitude off the back to a costumer who hasn't said a word but waiting to make a purchase and because he is not wearing a mask gets kicked out without a sign posted or anything to refuse service and implied the OReilys down the street doing it as well. Also to state not all your employees were wearing a mask as well. I'm sorry sir that was misinformed because OReilys still gave me great costumer service and told me they weren't applying this mask restrictions and apologized for his previous experience. Please for future costumers, at least be kind and courteous durning these times in need and desperate times for supplies because my car ran out of oil completely and almost broke down completely. My boyfriend being an mechanic just needed to pick up oil for my vehicle. Never again will I shop here. read more

I went in so that I could get a diagnostic test run on my car because it had just stalled out. The team was absolutely no Hill, and I left out of there still having issues with my car. The manager did not even make an attempt to do anything after explaining my story with my car. I left out of there absolutely frustrated. read more

This was a few months ago but, one night my car had a headlight that was out so our neighbor took us to our local Autozone to get a bulb. Unfortunately they didn't have it but they called this location and had us drive to pick it up. We were able to pay for the bulb at the local store which was awesome but by the time we were able to get to the other location, we only had 3 minutes until the store closed. We get to the door and what do you know, locked. They knew we were coming to get the bulb and the clerk told us to come back tomorrow to which my husband and our neighbor told them that they were told we were on our way. The clerk then told us to leave because they had already logged out of the system and were ready to go home. So as we turned to leave they gave us attitude and called us back before we could get into my neighbor's vehicle, and then shoved the part we needed through the door. My husband told them "thanks bud" as he tells everyone, and the clerk said very rudely "That's MA'AM to you." We did file a complaint at the store the next day but I do think more people should be aware of this. read more

Saturday February 8th I went to Auto Zone to purchase a new set of windshield wipers. After checking the current ones I asked the clerk for wipers with the same name, Bosch. The clerk checked the inventory and confirmed there were 3 in stock. While I waited at the counter, the clerk checked the floor stock. He returned to tell me there were none on the floor but there may be more in new inventory that had not been put out. The manager asked "what does she want", "why does she want that brand"? After checking the floor stock, the manager brought a different brand of wipers and a gallon of windshield fluid to be "thrown in" to my purchase for accepting a different brand. I asked the clerk if he "the manager" was used to not addressing customers directly? No answer was provided. At the time, my need for new wipers was greater than my need to me treated as a customer. I asked the clerk to install the wipers. After installation I asked the manager if it was his usual custom to ignore the customer preference requests? He said he was teaching his staff how to take care of customers and if I did not see it that way he was sorry and walked away. Although this store is closer to our home, I'm sure I can get our vehicle needs from another store. read more

The crew is always helpful. Just picked up the starter for the Jetta and getting ready to install it. Fun times and great weather.

Took my car because the check engine light was on. They ran a test and not only did they give me the reading the manager and another staff person took the time to show me what my car needed. Bought the part and took it to my mechanic. The staff at this store are superb! read more

I stopped in to get a new bulb for one of my brake lights that the dealership was going to charge me $40 for. I asked for help finding the correct bulb for my Subaru Forester and the employee came to my car to figure out which one I needed. He took the brake light out to check the bulb and took me back inside where I purchased a 2 pack. In the parking lot the employee changed the bulbs for me. I was fully prepared to come home and watch you tube videos to help me figure out how to do it but in a few minutes he did it for me! I wish I caught his name because I'm so thankful for him! I only stopped in To purchase the correct bulb never expecting them to do it for me, but it helped me out so much! Thanks again! read more

I went to this location because I had an awful experience at the other Pflugerville location. And this wasnt much better! I walked in with a purpose, knowing what I needed and just needed help finding it. Im not an idiot either, I know the basics about cars and I learned plenty with experience from my previous problematic vehicle. I walked in, and they laughed and asked what I was in for. I told them and they laughed again and one of them said "Well you were wrong! She is here for a totally different reason than what you were sayin! She even knows the name!" Um... do I get a hint of sexism here?? A man led me to what I was looking for and he belittled me and talked reallll slow explaining what it was (I knew what it was...) and then I went to checkout. And got the heck out of there. That was just a vile experience. Never going there again. read more

Had to get a bulb for a brake light that blew out. Thought some weird guy was trying to get me to roll the window down next to my wife to hit on her but that's another story. Anyway I roll into AutoZone and find the bulb I needed pretty easily but then it occurred to me that I have never replaced the bulbs on this car before. Instead of looking up youtube videos I thought I'd just ask the guy at the counter. His name is Wilson L. according to the name tag. He had a smile on his face and asked how my day was. I told him it's almost over so it's going great. Then he said, and I'm quoting now, "End of a beautiful day leading to a an even better night!" Wow, all I could do was laugh because I had never met anyone with as much optimism as him before. I asked him about the light and instead of telling me about it he just said he would come out and show me. Talk about amazing service! I wish I had a few dollars to tip him so I'm hoping this review will work out in a raise for him. Truly made me a customer for life. If you ever need anything for your car, go see Wilson at this location and thank me later! read more

Wanted to especially give a great big thank you to Wil and Ruben from Autozone on Pecan street. I asked the clerk to come out to my car so I could show him what part I was trying to purchase. He refused! He actually shook his head no when I asked if he was kidding. I asked the girl clerk and she refused too. I can kind of understand her not wanting to help because she was young and may not have had much experience working in cars, but she did work at a parts store. I was also the only customer in the store so it wasn't like I was taking them away from helping someone else. Well they won't have to worry about me bothering them again. There is an Advanced Auto parts store a few blocks away. The clerk there was very helpful. I still can't believe that both employees at Auto Zone flat refused to come out to the car. I don't see how they will stay in business if they treat all customers that way. read more

Came to autozone because my son's car didn't have any brake lights at all and thought that he needed new brake lights. So I came in and immediately was greeted by a young man named Jose. I explained to him my situation with my son's car and came and took a look at my car as well and said that he owned the exact same car which is a Subaru Impreza and said that I don't have regular light bulbs that I had LED's. He then took another look at the car and said that my ABS fuse was going to be the problem as to why the lights weren't coming on. At first I didn't believe him cause I'm no expert in cars. But he told me that he had that exact same problem happen to his car. So I bought a new fuse and he installed it for me in a matter of second and walllah!! I had brake lights again! I thanked him because he was helping me keep my son safe from dangers on the road and appreciate that he know what he's doing! There needs to be more people like Jose at other Auto zones that know their stuff because other locations just guess and make you spend more money then what you need to. Thank you very much Jose! read more
