The young asian manager was very disrespectful and not customer service minded at all. He did not know the sale ads for the oil and filters deal or how to price out the sale advertisement. I never leave reviews but I had to because the people who work here are incredibly kind and helpful with finding what parts I needed for my car and neither of the guys made me feel rushed or anything even though they were minutes away from closing. I was having a difficult time in the parking lot trying to fix my headlight but a nice guy named Camden came outside to check on me and insisted on helping me replace the bulb when he saw that I was struggling! Even though they had just closed, and it was super windy, and cold, and also kind of raining, he still made sure that everything was up and running okay and that I wasn't left alone in the parking lot late at night!!! :)) read more

Still looking for blinker fluid. Have to have fun, but am pleased they have plenty of car wash materials. These are priced fairly reasonable. Some want gas treatments like STP, which is here, but I am skeptical. You can get a reasonably priced battery here. Saudi Arabia and inflation have costs these to increase in price. As for parts they have a good selection. The remote tire pressure machine I got here has come in handy. It has jumper cables on it too, and it did as advertised. The employees are polite and knowledgeable. Also if you want windshield wipers, and other common car accessories, they should have what you're looking for in stock. read more

Went there for a dead battery. I got to the store at 5:00 pm- waited 5 mins for someone to come to the counter to ask if anyone was there. I could hear two guys talking in the back. When the manager finally came out he tested the battery and told me I needed a new one. When I asked if he could install it he said "no, it's too late in the day, the sun is setting and we're not allowed to install when it starts to get dark outside" I don't know if this is true or not, but his demeanor was very uncaring. I had to ask the other other worker there to help me jump start my car and he actuality recommended I go to Advance auto parts across the street. The manager then proceeded to light a up a cigarette while his coworker is helping me start my car. I guess I was interrupting his smoking break. I will never go to this place again. Do yourself a favor and just go across the street to Advance Auto part next to Aldi. They're truly professional and know how to treat a customer. read more

CUSTOMER Service at it's best....I, we had an issue with the car. Seemed to be miss firing, so I was told. Soo....... First thing Sunday morning we started to make a few calls. Called another highly/ widely known competitor. Then come up first alphabetical---:) They said we can not help you till 2pm. Called here ---come right on in ! BO took charge, went out the car...back into the store - back to the car...before we knew it all that was needed was to pay for the parts. BO could not of been more helpful. He obviously knows about cars, as this one has been running just fine since our visit. Pleasant, knowledgeable and skilled ! Auto -ZONE will definitely called upon first on any future needs. I was having trouble starting my car two days in a row. The first day I needed roadside assistance, the second day I got a jump start from a neighbor. On the second day, drove to Auto Zone in Fairfax. The man and woman working behind the counter were amazing! They tested my battery, educated me about the batteries available for my car and the man came out removed the old one and put an new one in at no cost. He then checked the old battery he took out a second time and it definitely registered "bad". The whole experience was great! Had a screw in my tire and had no idea how to fix it. The employee helping me was very understanding and explained things simply and easy enough for a dummy like me to understand. He recommended the best option for my problem (not the most expensive either). He even loaned me a tool to help and checked up on me while I tried to repair the tire. Went to Auto Zone on Ray & Miclintok in Chandler to Trade Out My Battery & The Assistant Mngr Was The Laziest Fk I've Ever Met , Ask him to Remove my Battery & Replace with a New Out of Warranty & He Refused to Do so cause the Bolts in the battery were Too Corroded after a AAA tech had already Cleaned Them , & His Excuse was the Bolt would Spilt & I'd have to get my Truck Towed , Meanwhile the AAA tech had already Examined them And they could be removed with Socket Tool & a Open End Wrench , My Entire Family Will Not Visit This Store Again , Thats 15 Former Customers, And Friends Will Follow Suit, You Fucked Up read more

I was frequenting this location to buy parts until the store representative promised me a 15% discount for a larger purchase so long as I purchased a $5 bundle of other products. When I agreed, he rung me up and pretended to convince me that I got my discount. I happen to know math very well, and the register did not give me a single percent discount at all. In fact, it just added $5 more for the bundle. I questioned him on it, and he then said he would have to get a manager to fix the register. The manager came and basically said he couldn't offer 15% and would only give me 10% and proceeded to enter the 10% discount, and the register only reduced the bundle cost by 10% and not the entire bill. I told him, why he was not honoring what his employee had promised me, and he stated the employee did not have the authority to provide the discount. I stated that his employee had delegation authority and the discount should be honored. Then another employee jumped in to defend the manager and provide his illogical analogy without anyone asking him to join the conversation. I basically had three people ganging up on me, the customer, on why they woudn't honor their promise. I decided not to buy the products and never return here. It was their loss on that day and all future purchases I would have made. Arguing with a customer in a harassing tone is just bad business. read more

I heard that AutoZone will come out and use their diagnostic tool to read the codes on your car/truck if you get the 'Engine light" on your dash. I called them to make sure they had this service and had the nicest exchange with a staff person. She told me to come down and any associate would help. When we got there, my engine light stopped flashing and they couldn't test it, but the associate in the store was very helpful and explained how they could help. This is based on my first time visiting this location. I came in looking to get a burnt out light bulb replaced for the left headlight on my car. I walked in and the store associates were busy helping customers. So I decided to look for light bulbs myself and found one. Joe helped me at the register and answered the questions I had. He offered to replace the headlight for me, which I really appreciated considering it was drizzling outside. I will be returning to this location for future car related issues. read more

A waste of my freaking time! Went there looking for clips for my car (a piece under the bumper was hanging down), I have a Nissan Altima. Instead of looking in the computer to see whether or not they carried the part, the guy tried about 3-5 different clips; just to suggest that I try another auto parts store?! really sir? wasted 15 minutes of my life and I ended up going to the dealer to get the part that I needed. I confess that it has been quite some time since my last foray into an auto parts store. In my teen years, I always bribed the local boys with grilled cheese sandwiches and snickers bars to work on my wrecks. All I had to do was buy the parts and then look pretty (well, as pretty as any girl can be in a pair of docs and a flannel shirt) while hanging around the garage. As a mostly grown up person now, I usually just pay people actual money to work on my cars. That said, I dropped in today to pick up an air filter and some chemical to clear up my headlights and was treated to what might have been the cleanest auto parts store I have ever been to and exceptionally kind service. So I came in here looking for some fusses for my Porsche. I went to the front desk and asked this younger Hispanic girl who was sitting down (no other customers were in the store, so it wasn't busy). I asked her where I could find a certain fuse, she said back over there where you came from. ??? This is customer service now-a-days? This is how you treat customers...This is what's wrong with the new generation. They sit on their ass and would rather point than help and play candy crush or tinder it up! I eventually found what I needed, on my own. But it just made me laugh at the lack of customer service now-a-days. And to top it off, this girl was either an assistant manager or the assistant store manager.(didn't get a good look) Either way...she wouldn't make on my team, not with that attitude. Absolutely awful. I bought a top of the line car battery here with a 3 year warranty. The thing died only 10 months later and simply would not hold a charge after multiple jump starts. I took it in to exchange and the cashier said they'd only exchange it after doing a battery test. Rude arab guy with a mustache. He was very abrasive about it, and before he even looked at the thing he accused me of having a bad alternator without any basis. I said "no it's not the alternator - that was working fine until a few days ago when the battery just discharged over night." He barked right back "how do you know that?" I told him cause I just had my car tuned up last month and it was in perfect working order, then said to test the battery. He reluctantly hooked it up to their machine and told me the battery was perfectly fine - just empty. He said all I needed to do was recharge it over night with a battery charger and it'd be fine. I guess I was a sucker, because I let him sell me one for $40. Problem is when I took it home and hooked it up, it didn't work. The battery simply wouldn't charge - I had it hooked up for 20 hours straight until the indicator said "full" but the second I disconnected the electricity it drained back down to zero. So I took the battery back a second time and the new guy hooked it to their machine again and said "yeah, it's dead." He gave me a replacement, which was fine. Then I tried to return the charger the previous guy sold me two days before. He says "oh, we can't take that back because you used it." I explained that the ONLY reason I even bought the damn thing is because the previous guy misdiagnosed my battery and since he didn't want to have to do an exchange, and that it was useless to me now. His answer was essentially "tough luck" so now I'm out $40 plus two headaches of a trip to this crappy store to replace a battery that never should have broken in the first place. read more

My car's battery unexpectedly died on me today. After jumpstarting it I went to the closest place which happened to be AutoZone. Unfortunately I never got the gentleman's name who helped me, but he was really kind and knew exactly what type of battery I needed. I was in and out of AutoZone quickly. I went inside and someone immediately checked the battery, sold me a quality new one (with a 5 year warranty) for less than $100 and changed my battery all within 20-30 minutes. Just had a great experience here. My battery was dead this morning (and had run dead about a week ago). I went to this Autozone and he checked the battery for free. When he said I needed a new battery, he first said my battery was probably covered by my manufacturer's warranty and I should check with them first to save some money (battery was original equipment on my car). I had already done that (warranty had run out), so he sold me the battery and asked if I wanted him to install it. Of course I said yes, and all I had to do was buy $2.78 worth of post grease and a post protector. All in all, I was in and out in under 15 min. read more

Needed wiper blades to replace my dead ones and it was raining! The salesperson checked out the type I needed based on the vehicle information I supplied and he even checked my car to make sure he was selling me the right one. Went back into the store and purchased the wiper blades needed, which were fairly expensive for this car, but was told these blades would last me much longer. After purchasing, he followed me out to the car and replaced the blades on the spot. I tried to offer him a tip for putting the wiper blades on for me and he wouldn't accept it. Great service, I knew there was a reason I visited Auto Zone more than Advance Auto. The people in the store actually help you find the right product and then even come out and help you install it. I'm sure it isn't this way with all parts that are purchased, but it goes a long way when the employees want to help you out every step of the way. I'll definitely be back here. read more
